Sammy stares at the man on the floor. Was he a false savior? Or an angel?

Sammy stared down at the man who had invaded their peaceful realm. 

He was soaken with ink, laden with the liquor of the Lord, and his expression, though it was hard for a moment as he turned to face the prophet, was now soft, lined with benevolent concern. 

Sammy’s hand tightened on the pipe. 

Who was this? His immediate thought was this was a false god, some imposter who had thought that he could take the place of his Lord. His arm rose to bring the pipe down again, but something- something stopped him. 

A realization. 

This could be a gift. What was that angel always yammering about? That she was an angel, sent onto them from above? No, she was not. Sammy had seen her rise from the inky puddles, she was a blasphemous fraud. Oh- oh, the realization. The revelation.

This… this was the man that Sammy had been prophesying of all along. He was wrong, in his interpretation of the Lord’s word. His Lord never meant that He would redeem him himself, and while the notion stung, this man was proof that they were not abandoned. 

He would set them free- he was sent from above. Sammy had seen the rays of sunshine above him, burning his dark and holy skin with its purifying rays. 

Sammy knelt down to this angel, prodding with the pipe carefully. His teeth, wet and soft, gnashed against one another as he tried to comprehend the human form before him. 

It was… perfect. 

Sammy inhaled once, allowing himself to relax and smile. 

But maybe- 

The thought struck

Maybe too perfect. 

Sammy flinched back, as though burned. But of course! This was nothing but a ruse, a lie, a deception! This man could not be the savior from the Lord; it was not what Sammy was promised. Or was he? 

Sammy’s head spun. He could hardly decide what he believed anymore. Was his faith so shaky?

Resolving himself, he dragged the man- angel- falsehood- into the center of the pentagram. He took the axe, ran his slick fingers along the edge of the metal. Sharp. Clean. Beautiful. 

He set it aside. It was not his tool. 

Quietly, he heard the Voice of the Lord echo through the pipes, whispering; Not yet.

A rush of electricity ran through Sammy’s body, his fingers trembling with delight, his lungs aching to sing with praise for his Lord. At last, a message! A message, for him, after silence for so long! And one that proved to him that he would be an instrument in the coming of the end, in the coming of their Freedom. The axe was not his, not yet. It would be his. He would be at the side of this angel, and together they would forge the new world. 

His heart light, Sammy assured himself that he would watch this sheep carefully, and he would be his shepard, to guide him unto the path of their Lord. 

He would set them free. 

Amen.

So finished batdr n figured the og was worth playing thru

-not much happenin in the first 2 chapters, just nice n chill as much as I like puzzles the music one was and continues to be a pain in the arse

tbf tho I do really like hearin Norman without worrying about dying to him

- chapter 3 saw a return of what might just be my catch phrase for the lift bit 'Boris you fuck' where he's once a-bloody-gain decided that when the dark webs showed up on the walls was the perfect time to bugger off

- TRY N KILL ME NOW NORMAN YOU FUCK *Tommy gun unlocked, manacles laughter of built up irritation to always dying to him/the Projectionist glitchin out the game n sendin me back to the start being let out in a rain of bullets and echoing manacles laughter*

- annnnnd there goes boris

- at least the shootin mini game was easier on a console rather than a computer

- hhheeeeeerrrrreeeeee's Boris! comin at you live from whatever fucked up frankenstein type shit malice pul- annnd im dead again

- welp time to say bye bye to the faithful trusted companion that has built up a huge amount of trust and the only vaguely emotional response from henry in the entire game and hello to the leave me for dead duo, what's that? you're currently leaving me for dead as I'm makin this post? well Tom you can go fuck yourself side ways with thay ax you so very obviously have in your hand, you know the one you've been threatened me with for the entire smeggin cut scene?

Let's go back... To the BEGINNING.

Backgrounds will still be the end of me lol. I managed to finish this in time, YAY. (It's still February 10th where I live) I didn't have many ideas for what to do for the birthday so I decided to redrawn Ink Bendy's jumpscare from the alpha version of chapter 1. A classic scene, I would say.

To say it was simple times back then would be an understatement. Those were very, very, VERY simple times when chapter 1 launched. The workshop was smaller, the Ink Machine was tiny, Boris didn't look like Boris and the Lord of the Dark Puddles... was just a bird poop with a smile. But look where we are now! The game was completed, we had a sequel a while ago, some spin-offs over the years, several books, and we just had the announcement that the little devil is going to the big screen!

Bendy has come a long way since then, despite what I would call a turbulent journey at the same time. But despite these turbulent times, I would still say that it has been great to follow Bendy since then. It's a franchise that left a lasting impression on me, and with what we know about what's to come, it's safe to say that I'll still be here following the dancing demon for a good time.

Happy birthday Bendy! Very excited for your future. After all, 7 years and we still have a lot to see yet.

(Oh and, even though I don't have anything specific for that yet, happy anniversary Boris and the Dark Survival! You're a nice game and I still hope you get updated again one day lol)
