he likes company but doesn't like initiating hangouts. he's a man of few words, most of them reserved for when there's really no other option other than to communicate verbally

whenever you two sit together he always gets a bit restless and fidgety. if you try to bring up the topic he'll just brush it off, saying it's nothing to worry about

he can't EVER discern if he likes somebody or if he's just anxious and it literally swallows him whole. thinking about verbalizing what he feels or physical closeness makes him feel a bit dizzy so he just pushes these thoughts to the back of his brain until they eventually resurface again

gets a tad distant, being a bit rude and brash as a defense mechanism

shows his care by being (over)protective, especially in matches. when he sees you in danger it's like he's seeing red, leaving hunters bruised from his aggressive swings. he says he's overprotective in general, that you're not special and that he treats you like he would anyone else, but it hurts to say that when he thinks the exact opposite

confess first. or, at least, hint at doing so. it's not gonna get to his head unless you say it first, directly, no buts or ifs - only then will he realize that hey, maybe i should stop denying myself romantic attraction?

your first few dates are a bit awkward. you two are a *thing* now, but he doesn't understand the new boundaries your relationship sets. is it really alright to hold your waist in front of everyone?

just give him some time until he gets comfortable, it takes time for him to drop the stoic persona

his first kisses are sloppy. he initiates them slowly and without much confidence, hands trembling as they bring you closer and he plants his warm lips against the corner of your mouth - he still doesn't dare to go lips-to-lips. they make for a good laugh afterwards, him nervously grinning at his own anxiety.

is almost shocked when you return the favor, maybe even more eagerly than him. slowly kiss his temples, rub the back of his head with care and he's paralyzed under your hands, his mind wandering away beneath your tender touches

his most cherished moments with you are spent in complete silence. the feeling of unconditional love contained within a comfortable silence is indispensable, and just the fact that he doesn't have to strain himself with small talk and expressing things he can't actually describe feels great

victory or loss, no matter his mood, whenever you call upon eli clark his head turns towards you in a second. his face is completely covered - save for his mouth and nose - but his lips are always curled into a soft smile

the cloaked seer enjoys solitude and spends most of his free time in it. he's softspoken, but always a tad gloomy and breathless

yet it doesn't take much to creep under his skin. a few kind words will quickly put him at ease and, encouraged by your own openness, he won't hesitate to be straightforward with you

spending so much time pondering and overthinking, he can't help but notice his feelings towards you. well, they might not be feelings by the traditional definition, but what other word can describe the tingles he feels when he hears your voice from behind, when you creep upon him? or the surge of heat in his abdomen while he's slowly making his way towards you, watching your expression change through brooke's eyes?

he confesses first. definetly. it'll take him a few days to devise a plan, to find the best spot and time to confess and phrase his thoughts, but it wouldn't take long during your friendship for it to happen. he's a bit of a romantic at heart and can easily get swayed by affection

most of his ways of expressing affection are through small PDA. tenderly holding your hand or your waist, rubbing your shoulders after a tense match or holding you from the back. he's a literal heat machine! has so much layers on and it feels really good to lay back against him in response. you can easily wrap the remaining fabric around yourself, too

only takes off his hood and blindfold a bit further into the relationship. he's so used to them masking his true appearance that taking them off in front of others makes him feel vulnerable

asks the WEIRDEST questions and says the most random stuff on dates. literally no filter. who knows where his mind actually goes while you talk to him?

likes when you get touchy with him :,) rub his hips (they're kinda sore and he often has to crack them like knuckles, it's hard to carry so many bags and pouches around his waist ok!!), mess with his hair, trace your fingers around his face, whisper him the dumbest things up-close into his ear, hell, even bite him if you want to! has insomnia anyways and any kind of stimulation helps him fall asleep. he just turns into a happy human blob

Ganji

|⚾️| He probably wouldn’t know what to think at first, how had a fight even started in the first place?

|⚾️| Ganji doesn’t strike me as the type to step in unless it’s completely necessary, and he will step in as soon as the fight escalates to that point

|⚾️| Takes you to Emily so she can check and make sure your nose isn’t broken, getting you a tissue if you have a nosebleed, ect.

|⚾️| If it was a stupid argument, he’d do all of this while giving you the silent treatment, with a few “what were you thinking?” And other scolding occasionally

|⚾️| If it wasn’t a stupid argument, he’d probably be much more visibly concerned for you, and voices it more as well.

|⚾️| After the fight, he’d probably make sure to give the other survivor some mean looks, or keep them as far away from you as possible.

“Your shirt is all bloody, (Name).” Ganji mumbles, handing you a few more tissues for your nosebleed. “Thank you.” You respond, sitting in awkward silence for a moment until Ganji takes off his shirt, handing it to you. “Take it, (Name), it will probably be more comfortable than your shirt right now.”

Norton

|🧲| He probably steps in the second he sees something happening, but cannot stop the damage that has already been done. Unfortunately, you’ve already been punched

|🧲| Norton is definitely pissed with the other survivor, but doesn’t do anything to them since he wants to help you first.

|🧲| Takes you to somewhere quieter so he can bring you some ice for where you got punched

|🧲| Due to how he was treated before coming to the manor, it’s no surprise he knows how to deal with injuries that come from punches

|🧲| It doesn’t matter if it was a stupid fight or not, he’ll be whispering curses about the other survivor for hours

|🧲| Definitely more protective of you around them from that point on, even if the two of you apologize to each other.

You feel Norton’s grip on your hand tighten as you pass the survivor you got in a fight with weeks ago. “That son of a bitch.” He whispers, which causes you to laugh “Norton, it’s fine, we’re not mad at each other anymore.” He doesn’t seem to agree that it’s fine, and simply gives the other survivor a glare and walks away with your hand still in his grasp.

|🤎| He’d have no problem stepping in and whipping the other persons ass more than they did yours. After years as a mercenary, he most definitely knows how to throw some good punches

|🤎| The moment his attention is back on you though, he’s like an entirely different person.

|🤎| Super gentle with patching up the injuries you may have even if you aren’t in a lot of pain

|🤎| Even though he’s gentle with you, he’s definitely going to scold you quite a bit for getting into a fight in the first place, no matter what caused it

|🤎| He has a tendency to be a quite protective lover similar to Norton, but his presence is definitely much more noticeable to the other survivor

|🤎| Before every match you have with that survivor now on, he’ll make sure they don’t treat you badly, threatening the other if they do

“(Name), hold still so the blood doesn’t get everywhere.” Naib scolds, gently holding a tissue to your bleeding nose as you groan. “I’m not some child, Naib, I can do it myself!” The mercenary scoffs and simply keeps on holding the tissue to your nose ��And yet you got into a fight like one.”

ganji is not someone who's ultra picky about music tbh

like, if something is new to him he might be confused or intrigued at first, but he comes to terms with it quite quickly

when it's you who's relaxing after a match, then he always tags along😭 just spawns in your room and plops down on the bed by your side, inching closer to you and fulfilling his duty of The Big Spoon™

he doesn't even notice when you turn on the music tbh??? like he's so accustomed to the already relaxing atmosphere of your room that the noise just blends in

the fact that he's half asleep from the second he lays near you really doesn't help it

you'll have to point it out to him.... he's a bit eepy but he will comment on the music, saying it's quite good

he likes old rnb the most! he really, really likes the gospel/soul roots it has. something leaning towards jazz, like sade, might really suit him

not a music nerd as expected so if you go on and show him some streams/playlist he won't say much other than "mhm/nice/yeah?/that's neat" etc. but he still enjoys the quality time

+ and the fact that you're showing him something you're passionate about :)))))))) he's always willing to learn even if he doesn't have much knowledge on music in the first place

for him, as long as it sounds pleasant to his ears, it's good music

aesop, on the other hand, is VERY picky

he doesn't listen to music much but when he does, everything has to be perfect. noise cancelling headphones? on. equalizer? adjusted to a T. volume? not too loud, but not too quiet either.

in conclusion he's not a fan of anything loud lol. i do think that, out of music, he would really like classical music (i'd say like...romanticism or classicism? maybe add a few modern composers into the mix) and goth music (bauhaus enjoyer aesop real don't @ me) .... you can't really miss with good old dvořak and goth music, on the other hand, is quite calming to him, he really enjoys the vocals and the lyricism

so he'll come into your room, finally finding enough strength to tag along with you after a match, and actually be pleasantly suprised!

might not fit his style or his usual repertoire, but he has to admit it's quite calming

and it does put him at ease of some kind... i mean, it can't be bad if it's not extremely loud, right?

when he's not using his trusty headphones he prefers analog music... poor aesop will go and ask you if there's any purchaseable lo-fi vinyls out there lol
