To be honest, I wasn’t sure we’d get the last bit but it’s looking good! Everyone has been amazing in #saveshadowhunters movement and it is a movement! I mean, a plane!?!?!? Naming stars after our family!?!? So much money donated to Trevor Projects, all those signatures on the petition. Don’t let anyone say this wasn’t a MOVEMENT! 

So let’s get this last $20 my lovelies! Let’s do it for all the lgbtq+ who watch, all the people of color, all the minorities, all the people who suffer from mental health, addiction, homophobia, racism that see the show tackling all these issues. 

Do it for Matt D. HSJ, Kat, Em, ‘Berto, Dom, I mean ISAIAH, Nicola!!!, Let’s do it for David and his very rare, amazing portrayal of asexual characters, Jade who’s amazing. Let’s do it for UNDERHILL! Steve Byers is as big a fan of Malec as we are!

Let’s do it for Malec! They deserve more solid communication, ride or die scenes, I love yous, they deserve a wedding and BATTLECOUPLE.

alec running away from the dragon just after one shot was so funny, but can we also talk about how he asked "what's that?" at the blood on the sand lmao!

Please, I know. Like what do you think this is, other than blood, Alec? Strawberry jam? Thank God they had forensic expert Isabelle Lightwood with them. lmao In all seriousness, I love the holy trinity and I am glad we got that scene of them and battlecouple!Malec but when you think about some things happening.... it is fucking ridiculous.

i havent even watched the damn episode yet and its 5am and im crying at the spoilers but we know malec is endgame bc of the battlecouple!malec spoiler and they are following the books loosely and in them they break up but get back together

I mean, they didn’t really break up. Magnus just said he needed to think as leader and what is good for his people. If anything they’re on break, but I wouldn’t even call it that. Right now they just need to focus on protecting their people. And yes, they do break up in the books, but it’s for a totally different reason, so I think we’re safe for now and, honestly?, I don’t think they’ll break up for the reasons that happen in the books. In fact, I don’t think they’ll break up at all.

The little charm was a small rectangular one, with a vibrant color of orange on it’s body and a small white rope at the top of it. It was decorated with a few writings on it, and it made Alec feel a wave of emotions because it was a very familiar amulet. He realized that it was the omamori, the very same one that he bought Magnus when they went on a date in Tokyo.

“Why are you giving this back to me?” he asked quietly, a little crease formed between his eyebrows. “This is for you, Magnus. I want you to have it.”

Really unpopular opinion - as awful as it may sound, alec running away from the dragon demon ruined the character and malec as a battle!couple for me. Yes, I'm bitter and mad about 2x20.

I mean tbf, I kinda expected a bigger scene with more emotional impact (am I still bitter about the alliance rune not appearing? maybeeeeeeee) when it comes to battlecouple!Malec and Alec not knowing what blood is and running away from that dragon demon is all kinds of ridiculous but overall I really enjoyed this scene (as well as the whole episode 2x20) and I want to see more of Malec fighting together on the battlefield in the future.
