Destan is such an underrated show. I’m I watched it on a whim. Saw a video clip from it on Facebook and scrolled madly through the comments to find out what it was. Turns out it was a Turkish drama. Never watched one of those before but thought, why the fuck not - looks interesting. Oh. My. God. Fast forward to me spending 70 hours of my life bingeing all of the episodes. Somehow I managed to finish episode 27 the day before the finale was to come out. No regrets. Destan is so beautiful. The characters were so easy to love and hate. The costumes were absolutely gorgeous and the fight scenes were so well choreographed. I laughed, I cried, I d’awwed. It’s Turkish Game of Thrones mixed in with a bit of Robin Hood. It needs to be seen.
