i know why the shapeshifter couldnt have appeared as ford for like, plot + mystery reasons, however would it not have been fucked for him to perfectly mimic ford and for the kids to take him to the shack and for him to come face to face with stan and theyre both just like. What The Fuck Is That
#this is the situation in which we finally get to see stan shoot something#bc i mean obviously stan knows ford is. Not Here. the kids dont though#i suppose it would be an extra layer of hmmm because shifty wouldnt be able to know what ford looks like 30 years later#hed probably just turn into. the ford that he knew#which would be extra fucked for stan#dude pranking mcgucket by putting the shapeshifter that tried to kill him on his front step and it looks like his old friend#who he hasnt seen or talked to in 30 years#shapeshifter had so much potential that couldnt be used bc of the way this show is structured and thats okay btu im sad#simon says
