i think actually theres transformers who are trans and normal about it. including the canon trans characters. not including the one who only exists because of simon furmans incredible hate boner against women existing in any media. but im partial to people who seem like they would have really severe gender issues

#thats the backstory to the post i made a couple days ago btw #theres a like token female character thats existed in tf forever since the original cartoon and in the comics simon furman wrote in that she #was a male transformer who was kidnapped and evilly experimented on to turn into a woman (in a society of all men. unclear why you would #even want or know how to make a person in a single gendered race a New gender.)#and it turned her into like a crazed murder obsessed she demon #so like INCREDIBLY bad all around. they still regularly hire that guy to write on things btw.#OH and that comic wasnt like. old. the series only started in 2005. that was between 2005-2012 that that happened #in the MUCH OLDER comic he wrote for in the 80s or 90s he similarly gave the same character a fucked up backstory #that time that human feminists were outraged that all the transformers were men (which like. again. this is a conservative idiot but it just #does not hold up that a single gendered alien species is necessarily male)#and FORCED the transformers to create a new transformer that was a woman #oh but even WHEN they did the human women were outraged about it because she was too feminine and not feminine enough #because feminists are evil and want to ruin every ounce of fun men have for no reason i guess
