Things I do/need to do to avoid binge eating

Putting this down more for.me as a reminder, but if anything is useful than that's okay. It's mostly the same advice you see around anyway.

- I play walking dead or minecraft on my Xbox 360. Or skyrim, I want to start playing it again.

- Play some tunes from my favorite cd's / vinyl

- start collecting crap idk. I watch movies and have been collecting for over a year. I have A hek ton of them. Lots of good stuff. Some cd and I just started collecting vhs tapes too.

- Drinking diet soda is definitely a great way for me to curb a craving ! It's amazing

- Doing a whole morning and night routine. Especially when I am fasting. I just get out of the kitchen and infant of a mirror. It's a good reminder for me what eating does to my face. I get bad breakouts and when I am fasting my face clears up.

- Going on a walk to the park. That is fun.

- Going walking to the mall and window shopping or if you have money avoid food courts or anything like that. Buy something cool.

- The biggest thing for me to have to remember, is to remove that "all or nothing" mentality that I have. Ok, maybe you ate a food you are tryna stay away from, maybe you ruined your diet. But just a little. Doesn't mean that I have to go all out crazy. A new thing that I do is I fast for a bit to make me feel better about it. No binging YOU'LL FEEL WORSE!!

- creating a good vibe atmosphere. Like when I am going to watch a movie, I know what the movie is, I kinda make my room the same vibe as the movie. And same with listening to an album. I pop on a vinyl or cd and get those vibes around and it is pretty meditating.

- Dancing on YouTube. Putting on a workout dance video or "how to" in a dance style I am interested in. YouTube really REALLY helps you to learn. I learned some dance moves I always wanted to learn. I have been working on my Charleston. Like if you can't afford dance class YT is the real deal. Ballet classes, jazz class, etc..

- cleaning and listening to music. Try not to sit out cravings bruv. Sometimes that is just not the way to go. Cleaning and dancing it up and sticking to getting a chore done really helps me to get my mind off food. It is a lifesaving distraction.

- organize a thinspo folder. People that I would like to dress like. And yeah.

- look around antique, outlet or thrift stores. I never get tired of that.

- write poetry, write a song.

- draw more often def work on that.

- work on a painting even if you don't know how to just create art.

- learn how to knit/crotchet

- I need to play my guitar more often it is so fun need to stick to that.

- learning a language I am tryna learn Spanish and Portuguese.

- get a job. I am applying I quit my other job. I am looking for an active and outside job. (I hate working indoors. I love experiencing the weather. And just being outside because I am in my home alllllll dayyy. I hate the heat tho. But my summer job outside got me used to it. I hate being outside in 100 degree weather, but I actually got used to it. Which is surprising I am always complaining about the heat. But yeh.)

I keep EVERYTHING and it's probably why I keep running out of space to keep backups as my screenshots folder is about as big as mods folder and if not for me constantly taking out old saves to ALSO backup it would also be as massive. I really need to get like a massive drive that won't kill itself on me and put a million backups in there. I have no shame, I share shit with friends too and I have screenshots going back to my old crappy laptop in 2018. God I want bands so bad in Sims 4. I have modded drums but they are not the same, and they also broke pianos for me at the same time. I use Clubs as makeshift bands but it's not THE SAME and I've heard everyone sing and play guitar so many times I can just tell who is doing it despite all Sims having the same singing voice for some reason. I just KNOW who is more likely to just start singing or pull out a guitar and start doing it and who is more often distracted by flirting.

I'm inconsistent with building as it takes me forever to make a layout and it makes me doubt myself endlessly and I hate making roofs. But I like furnishing and doing layouts, I just try so hard to avoid making boxes that I give myself pain trying to make it 'interesting'. Which usually just means L shapes, how exciting and different. I think I've played too much Minecraft as I do the exact same fucking thing there.

I also can't build anything but houses. Every time I built anything else it failed spectacularly. I keep my awful restaurant because Alex works there and it's fun to sexually harass him at work and restaurants seem to work better without mods meant to fix them for some fucking reason for me, but I built a park once and it was so awful I deleted it from existence. WHY did that mod make restaurants break for me, chefs never showed up but waiters still did, so DUMB. It's supposed to make them work better, but it works better without it.

I feel like some of my friends would be chill with me sharing my save file screenshots but like,,, I don’t take that many

I use the in game camera so my sims can have memories and that’s usually what’s clogging my screenshot folder tbh

Anytime I use screenshots it’s more for story telling

I use a lot of Pinterest floor plans that I’ll usually modify to fit my needs. I have a comfort build that’s basically just My Happy Place with an entirely made up floor plan based on a maladaptive daydream universe I still can’t completely let go of. When life is really bad I put myself sim in with my para parents and just,,,, heal my inert child

Tbh even looking at architecture for inspiration can help in creating your own floor plans as well

A lot of ea floor plans are complete shit so I’ll go in and fix it without editing the ea shell

My only dine out issues are the constant resetting of my sims and the unreasonably long wait times so I haven’t ever really used any dine out fixes. I don’t normally play as a restaurant owner tho so maybe that’s why.

I’ve been really into midcentury architecture lately so I built a 1970s diner the other day but yeah it was not cute

im writing this as i am making myself some choccy milk. and then i will be writing this as i am drinking said choccy milk. i actually didnt have a bad day today. the weather has been shit tho. like its been windy as fuck all day n it hailed n the thunder was loud as shit. n it rained. a lot. i started learning how to play jealousy, jealousy by olivia rodrigo on the guitar. i reckon that one is my favourite off the album. coz like, im not going through a break up or anything but i do often compare myself to others which Isnt Healthy. and it is also a good song to sing when u need to let things go. like u cant tell me you dont scream the lyrics "HAPPIER! SELF ESTEEM is Wasabi's solo debut mini album. It was released in July 27th, 2020 and promoted for 5 weeks, he said in his promotion live that the songs were very personal for him and he hoped he could pass the message and tell fans with the same struggles they weren't alone. The mainly promoted tracks were NOID and Lovely.

NOID M/V: Aesthetics and Storyline

The M/V starts with a few shots of the following scenes

At the start, Wasabi looks in the mirror to see someone identical to him holding a camera, he turns around and no one's there

In the next shot someone blindfolded him, then he's walking on the top of a building, blindfolded and dancing

The clone with the camera shows up a lot, recording every step he takes in the video. He represents the media keeping an eye on him

In the top of building scenes, everytime he tries to fight the clone, he trips and almost falls. By the end he actually runs to him but trips and falls from the building. Showing that even when he fought back the whole stalking, it was useless.

There's also a scene where they're both in a bathtub, the clone still has the camera and Wasabi tries to drown him, no success

The performance bits are in an empty room, cameras, masks, phones and mirrors everywhere

By the end, he's alone in an empty room, clone standing in the corner as he apparently gives up in fighting it

1- NOID (inspo.)

The sasaeng incident might have been funny at the time, but it deeply affected Alan. In this song lyrics, he felt almost a paranoia about being followed by sasaengs and just of being watched in general, including his fear of being manipulated by the media, which he had since his trainee days.

2- Lovely (inspo.)

It's a message for himself and others who might go through the same problems as him, to not forget how lovely they are, he also addressed his self esteem issues in it, reminding him and his fans to not forget their qualities no matter how hard it is. He also called Royal Entertainment's soloist Enlai to participate in the music video and to play the acoustic guitar live in music shows and it got him more popularity.

3- Mother (inspo.)

This one is a message to his mother, it's about how as the middle brother, he didn't get much attention from his parents, specially his mother. This one is just a plead for love, acceptance and attention from her. He also lowkey has an existential crisis in it.

4- Brotherhood (inspo.)

A message to his brothers. This one is more light-hearted, it's a thank you letter for everything they've done for him. It talks about the laughs and sobs they shared, all the broken bones and scars they got since kids, just nostalgia and soft vibes.

5- Don't Let Me See (inspo.)

Once again about his anxiety, he doesn't want to see what people talk about him, scared of not being enough or just fear of people hating him.

6- BUCK (Cover) (inspo.)

This one is just a cover he sang of Bolt's solo song, BUCK. Nothing much, caused some solo stans to fight over which song is the best while they covered the song like the other was the original.

OH MAN i dont know a lot about what to say im just!!!! thinking about him so much. i said that i wouldnt go too in-depth with him because hes supposed to be just for funsies but im stupid so! ive been sketching out something of a plot for him & fifteen nd them Bonding and Escaping The Evil Laboratory Together and ive just been thinking about them like. living together after its all over n trying to live a normal life even when theyre all like. fucked up. idk but!!! because im rambling im gonna go into a list of random facts so i can try to stay a lil organized.

for a bit, Daniel just has the big mouth on his face and he can't really speak with it for a lot of reasons, so Fifteen teaches him sign! at first he just learns fingerspelling and spells out every word, and thats fine for a bit! but once theyre out daniel prefers to use sign in public because he tries to cover his face and neck as much as possible, and speech just doesnt... feel all that natural or comfortable with the second mouth anyways, so they both end up learning a lot more!

after they get out, daniel very impulsively rips off his number, which is a peice of cloth (or something? idk) the doctor actually like, sewed onto his skin, so that was probably not a smart move on his part. but later he gets a tattoo around the scar. i havent decided what of yet, but yeah.

fifteen actually leaves hers on! shes okay with her name being a number because like, shes never had any other name and she doesnt really like. give a shit what people call her. so for her its just a fun little name tag!

before everything happened, Daniel used to play guitar! he gets back into it after they get out as a sort of stress relief/distraction. he's not great but thats not really what matters.

he gets back into fishing, too! he doesnt hunt anymore, and he never keeps the fish he catches, he just finds it calming. sometimes he just doesnt put any bait on the hook and he'll just sit there for like. hours. just chillin. being by the water is nice, too.

they tried living in an apartment in the city for a bit but the noise and all the people around was just. so overwhelming for daniel. he spent most of his time inside and didnt ever go anywhere or do anything unless he absolutely had to. so as soon as they had the money to they got a place further into the countryside, near a smaller town. i still havent really decided like, where the fuck they are but dont worry about it. maybe like the midwest or the south or something. idk

fifteen gets into puzzles and video games! she finds an old console and absolutely slams through all the games she can get her hands on. she loves turn-based strategy games and also minecraft :D. she also eventually learns about online shooter games like overwatch and tf2 and. she is so fucking good at them. gamer gf.

fifteen is also super hyped to learn about fashion!!! she didnt wear clothes in the facility because she didnt have any and didnt see the need for any because she doesnt have like, boobs or anything. but when she learns that clothes can just be worn because theyre colourful and fun? she goes ham. she loves big long skirts and colourful t-shirts and anything brightly coloured. never shoes tho, she doesnt like them.

that said her fashion isnt like. good persay. yknow that post about how femmes all dress like miss frizzle? she does that but with slightly less coordination.

daniel doesnt have good fashion sense either sjdbdhdh hes a redneck butch at heart. genuinely owns at least one pair of camo cowboy boots, 90% of his wardrobe is denim.

their house is very sparsely decorated but at the same time very odd. like the few things they have are all things that they really, really liked and since neither of them have Normal or Good taste, they have some very uh. questionable decorations. basically just scroll thru shiftythrifting for a while and u will understand the vibe.

neither of them have cell phones. not for any real reason just. they dont have anyone to call. they dont need or want social media. if they really need something they can use the computer or the landline.

fifteen is very monotone with a pretty non-expressive face and she mostly just looks kinda o_o all the time.

daniel on the other hand is expressive to the point where he's embarrased about it, even when its harder to tell with his weird face. he's usually just like. in a state of mild crankiness but when its just him and fives he actually like. idk shes very calming for him in a way that is unfamiliar, but not unwelcome.

their home is usually very quiet! daniel doesnt speak a ton and fifteen is okay with that, and neither of them are really that big on music, preferring just to let it be quiet. its especially nice once they live near the river.

daniel has a lot of issues with chronic pain from his teeth, which just kind of. keep growing, all the time. once they get to the point where its like, he cant close his mouth anymore, then it becomes a problem that they actually have to like, Do Something about. (the doctors solution was to just rip out all his teeth every few years. obviously he's not too keen on that.) they end up just filing them down which still sucks and is difficult and annoying but. u gotta do what u gotta do yknow

i still dont know how but they do figure out a way to kiss that is good and comfortable for both of them. theyre not like, super outwardly fluffy and affectionate all the time but. they do still have their moments of softness

Okay so-

this post is about my ela teacher last year

i hated her.

i am a minor, under 17, and if it hasnt been taught then i most likely wont know something unless it fell under my hyper fixations that i get once in awhile. Ive researched greek mythology because of my obsession with percy jackson, ive hyper fixated on playing the guitar because im really interested in it, as well as loom bracelets, crochet, unprofessional fanfiction writing, stuffies, polaroids, rollar skating, the dream smp, minecraft and whatever else my brain has deemed interesting and fun.

This is all not very important

My first interaction with my ELA teacher was when we were presenting social justice slide shows the ENTIRE class had to do. I did mine on the LGBT community and suicide rates in LGBTQ youth. I poured my heart and soul into this project. Dw tho, the teacher wasnt a homophobic jerk so she liked it but felt the need to comment on the TINIEST of grammatical errors i made. I could brush it off pretty quickly but the fact that she didnt do that to anyone elses who didnt even have correct punctuation simply made me very upset.

If this was a one off thing then I'd be fine with it, however it wasnt.

We got our new ELA teacher a little bit halfway through the year, at this point my school had us going in person on alternating weeks. Cohort A on week 1 and Cohort B on week 2 and just alternating. If we weren't in person then we would be working online but still on zoom.

At the begining of the year i had cleared with all of my teachers that i would work async for the majority of the classes seeing as everything was on canvas and my grades were high (all A's). They were chill with it and my math teacher even created a mini group for me and others who worked ahead of the class and didnt need to attend the meetings.

Once we got this new teacher i made her aware of what i was doing, she said it was alright but "make sure you show up to class" like ma'am did you not hear the part where i work asynchronously and dont do that? While working async i volunteer at a daycare that my mom also works at, they are seriously understaffed and i started working there last april shortly after the world went to shit. (probably shouldve mentioned this sooner but meh-)

Either way, everyone knew what i was doing, this teacher was aware and she still kept marking me absent unless i showed up to her class. At some point i emailed my principal asking about this and we cleared that i would show up long enough for our attendance then i would leave and go back to work. And it worked! great right?

In person it was a bit more complicated. I had to face her and deal with her in real time, face to face (with masks of course), and would have to verbally talk to her. I would be okay with that, i mea, i can keep a level head and remain calm. When she started saying miniscule degrading comments to me was when i got a little bit more upset. She talked down to me, and that is one of my pet peeves. I understand youre my teacher and i am just a student but dont go out of youre way to make me feel lesser then i am. I do that enough on my own-

In top of that she kept trying to make me work with the class (who she also talks to like we're all kindergartners) and work at a snails pace. Im sorry but ma'am- I understand that some people do need that and im glad theyre getting that but by making me work at the same pace im understanding it less. I see what i need to do, learn about it, complete the assignment, and dont linger on every word. The longer i linger the more my brain understands less. Hence why i work async whenever i can and why i work ahead a lot.

She talked to me after class one day, saying she knew i was ahead and independant, yet didnt make any attempts to help with that. This teacher used to work with adults and she has a degree with working with AIG students and people so-

why?

I have no idea where i was going with this whole rant ngl
