I want to ask you about scardubs. really i just wanna read your thesis and thoughts about them

so scardubs happened to me by accident.

after watching Last Life from Ethos POV and foaming at the mouth over it and Ethubs, I decided I wanted to watch Scars pov, mostly for more of them, hes their marriage counselor! but also because I liked him. I was BLOWN AWAY by how much I adore him and his story in Last Life. watching Ethos POVs of 3rd Life and Last Life with no prior knowledge of any of the rest of the creators and seeing Scar through this terrifying powerhouse figure in 3rd Life and the threatening mystery in Last Life only to find out hes the most pathetic sad wet cat alive— except. EXCEPT.

Bdubs is still scared of him. he still has Bdubs on a tight leash. within my own headcanons, no one (excepting Grian) remembers 3rd Life in its entirely in Last Life. but they have Feelings and Bdubs still feels the betrayal with Scar. the hold Scar has over him, how easily he can get Bdubs to do what he wants. Scars plots in Last Life are never so successful, but he antagonizes Bdubs often.

so I came into scardubs in the most backwards way, through Last Life of all things, and even though theres not Much of it, its still my favorite dynamic of theirs.

HOWEVER S7 SCARDUBS IS JUST A MILLISECOND BEHIND! they really are that gay. its so real its so good. the setting and story makes for such a perfect dynamic and…. is so ripe for pining. you asked for an essay so Im gonna get into all my silly little headcanons. I unintentionally write Scar as like… kinda arospec. like he has romantic feelings he just kinda experiences them Differently. and maybe in the mayoral era they have kind of a business And pleasure relationship. but Scar doesnt take it Too serious, and by the time he wants smth more its Aquetown and its just too late, the moments passed and it cant really be the same, Bdubs isnt interested in being jerked around anymore. Ive only watched Scars POV so sorry if my read is inaccurate, this is just what I think is fun 😔

Im always down for Scardubs— any season, any series— Last Life and S7 are just my faves. I just started S5 and the concept of Convexdubs has me chewing glass (positive) I also love established/past romantic/sexual Convex in S7 to just. flavor that Bdubs jealousy over Cub. not that you would have to change Anything for it to make sense augsusgshs. Im sure theres a milliom more things abt them that I wanna say that Ill remember as soon as Im out of this line but Ive already failed to finish responding to this in two or three different sittings so Im cutting myself off here LMAO

from this game. believe it or not. I KNOWWWW I KNOW its late. Ive been so phucking busy 💔
