Felicia really thought she gave up Black Cat. Sure, she got the powers and all that noise but maybe the current hero climate was too hot and heavy right now. Still, she had travelled all over the world and still couldn’t find anything that could really fill that hole that this city could. What was the best way to let everyone know she was back in town than Osborne's New Year Party?
She strutted in, a sparkling black flapper dress as white locks bounced. She sauntered around and, as she famously did ever since she was a teenager, she charmed like she always did. Of course, she kept Black Cat activity to a down low. She was trying to give it up since the Accords were in play and help her mother with the Hardy Foundation. Still, where Felicia went, trouble was never too far behind.
Ordering her martini, she glanced over at the current company. “You look a little bored.” She said as she took her drink. “Understandable. It isn’t a party until Party Hardy shows up.”

Unlike his adopted sibling, Loki loved a good party. He could easily become the life of said party too if people allowed it. However, his idea of fun at most gathering were sort of off putting. For example, apparently William Tell did not go over very well during most gatherings, especially if Loki’s expert marksmanship with the knife leads to the death of someone. In his opinion, a little blood and gore had the power to liven up a room, but he had every intention of behaving tonight. Well, IF he was left to his own devices.
So impeccably dressed in a dark pin striped suit, a black fedora with expensive shoes and a pocket watch to round of the look, Loki teleported a block from the event walking down the congested sidewalk without a care in the world. He could hear music and smell food which meant he had come to the right place. After doing a little turn for the ‘bouncers’ at the door, he was allowed inside the very festive atmosphere.
To begin the evening, he did what he always did at such events --- snaked through the crowd, casually grabbing a glass of champagne from one of the waiters. People were dancing and admiring one another’s looks so no one paid him much mind. A few finger foods were grabbed and then he made his way outside the back entrance onto the balcony. The fresh air was lovely but more than that he could watch the festivities from afar. Of course, he wasn’t alone and so as he swirled his drink around, he decided to break the silence. You know, be polite for the time being.
“Some party huh? It certainly exceeds my expectations.”

Harry Osborn ( @ofosbcrns ) is throwing a big New Year’s bash in a warehouse loft in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Running from 6.00pm on New Year’s Eve, allowing for early birds and families running through to whenever people finish up for the night, the party is open to one and all! Free food and drinks are provided, so long as you bring high spirits to call in the New Year!
This event will be held IC on New Year’s Eve, running through to New Year’s Day. OOC, party threads will be started between 1st January and 4th January, just before our activity check lapse ends. This gives you plenty of opportunities to pick up new threads for the New Year!
This is a themed party! 1920s themed outfits are a requirement. If you don’t have one, you’re turned away at the door -- or will need to find a creative way to get in.
Catered finger food will be available throughout the night, provided on buffet tables or by wait-staff. Beer, wine, spirits, cocktails and just about anything you could ask for is available at the bar free of charge!
There will be music, a dance floor in the centre of the room, and an outdoor balcony. The entire venue will be decorated immaculately to match the 1920s theme, so we can bring in the 2020s with style!
Please tag your open starters for the event with #BeginAgain20sBash (please don’t use this tag for private starters!). As usual with events, we will lift the usual “reply to three starters before posting your own” rule, although make sure that every starter receives equal attention to the best of your ability.
You are not obligated to participate in this event, but we hope that if you do, you have a great time writing out the festivities! We can’t wait to bring in the New Year with all of you, and many thanks to Luna for providing the details for this event!
