With a final clack the marbles stopped swinging. Amy leaned over to swing them again, bumping the chair from under the desk and sending it lurching backwards. It wheeled into an old mirror, propped against the wall, and waiting to be hung on the bare wall above.

All the walls in the office were bare apart from a single painting on the other side of the room above the fireplace. Even though the art work reminded her of the burning huts of Windflower, it didn't interest her as much as the paintings she found dislodged behind the mirror. Amy’s hands trembled as she moved each canvas, recognising each and every one of them.

They were hers from Dianthus's gallery. The ones of the crows that a very secretive buyer purchased from her father. The ones that shouldn’t exist yet because she won’t be painting them for another fifty years. Scrawled in each bottom corner were her initials: A.V.A

A fire burst in the fireplace and the burning huts of Windflower glowed in amber light.

I’m a long time simmer, have been playing sims 2 days. I’m new to the story / show & tell side of things.

Currently I’m doing 2 challenges, and most likely do more;

I’m still learning the sims 4 side of things, as I mostly played the sims 3 in the past.

all gen 2 (teal gen) kids!!

the teal gen went by SO fast omg... probably because i had the "on ley line" lot trait on and they had four sets of twins ^^; anyway! our yellow gen heir, tiramisu, married chrysocolla quartz and had ten beautiful children <3 our teal gen heir is malachite quartz, who has already moved out and has had many kids of his own, but i will be posting about that later. i'll also be posting some gameplay pics from this gen, so stay tuned for those :)

p.s. isn't it interesting that they were pumping out queer kids and then after baby number four they just stopped? lmao

Very Berry: Gen 1 [Pink]: Part 1

Very Berry Legacy Challenge Rules __________________ When Raspberry's mother, a Sixam alien, first settled on Earth, she decided to take on a berry sim name, as those humans had colorful hair and eyes like her. Inspired by her surroundings in Mt. Komorebi, she picked the sweet Japanese dessert of "Mochi" as a surname. Later on, she chose her favorite fruit, "Pomegranate" as a first name.

Pomegranate traveled all over the world studying human cultures, but in Tomorang she met Mistan, a sith pureblood (a species incorrectly presumed to be extinct), who, like so many other aliens, fled to Earth to hide from the oppressive hand of the Empire. They fell in love and built a life together.

Their eldest daughter, Raspberry, has just moved out to her own apartment! It's very small: one bedroom and a living area/kitchen, but there is an attached storefront and a small fenced area for her goat, Ziost.

Raspberry has lofty ambitions. An avid cook, she hopes to one day run her own bakery, the best in Tomarang. A distant dream, but her little home shop is doing very well so far, now that she's gotten the hang of things.

Living in such a cramped complex has its ups and downs. Camryn, a witch and one of her neighbors, hates Raspberry because of her Sixam heritage and turned some of the others against her.

Voltrenn, on the other hand, warmly welcomed Raspberry the day she moved in, and the two of them instantly clicked. They've been on a few dates, but haven't made things official. Voltrenn, a jedi, seems indecisive on whether he wants to uphold the traditional jedi stance on attachments. Raspberry wants an actual committed relationship, so unless Voltrenn decides (quickly) that he wholeheartedly wants to be her official boyfriend, she's going to take a step back.

my god the children of my legacies have been so UGLY recently except this one she turned out pretty great !! (still won't be the heiress since i'm kinda getting tired of the pink hair, the founder of the legacy used to have pink hair and now it's gen 6 (I think??) and there is still sims with pink hair lol))

Last time this went around I shared my earliest published screenshot. I've been on a digital cleaning spree that definitely has nothing to do with this post and actually found 4 whole screenshots from my Not So Berry save, dating all the way back to June 2017. An entire first generation lifespan, and this is the only moment I deemed worth capturing. 😁

I actually got in the habit of taking screenshots of my gameplay over the course of this challenge, and made it all the way to gen 9 before abandoning it to start my New Sixam save just before I started simblr in June 2018.

9 generations in 1 year. Playing probably once or twice a week at most in those days! This stuff sure goes by a lot faster when you aren't documenting every minute of it. 🤪 But where's the fun in that?

Here's a somewhat visually similar screenshot (y'know, doors, symmetry, perspective) from the next rotation of my BACC. As to what Octavia is doing in the train depot control tower, well... 👀 We'll just have to wait and see, I guess!

“I found the spell in a book stored with some old family portraits.” Alouette said. His eyes moved past her and over her head. “Did you ever have the pleasure of meeting my brother and his wife?”

“No. I don’t think so.” Amy wasn’t even familiar with the Plumarius name until she met Alouette.

“Oh, I think you might know them.” Alouette placed his glass down on the sideboard and pointed towards the other side of the room.

They say curiosity killed the cat and while Amy is no cat it got her just the same. Her wine glass dropped from her hand, shattering shards across the floor and splashing wine across the rug. A portrait of the king and queen of Windflower hung on the wall behind Alouette’s desk. It was one of the many portraits of the reigning nobility of the Delphinium family residing in Windflower Castle. Amy had seen it that day she entered the hall.

I mainly play with Berry Sweet and Not So Berry Sweet sims because I think they're fun!
