Ahh I hate all this social stuff...

I have been going to spas and hairdressers for the wedding and like... I am so oblivious to the bitchy stuff people do? I thought my friend and the lady doing the massage were having a good chat, but apparently my friend said the lady was standoffish and wasn't interested in conversation?

And the hairdresser I went to today was weird, like I asked to colour match the top of my hair to the bottom, since I have had it dyed? To be fair, I didn't want to go to this hairdresser (so I wasn't prepared) and I wouldn't know how to go about that so I mentioned I wanted it natural, maybe slightly lighter and slightly blond, and for warm tones since the bottom looks like a lighter warmer tone to the top...(upon thinking about it I should have just asked for a slight red tinge)... This ended with me getting bleached quite strongly with streaks on the top for some reason??

I am not very chatty and I have recently been giving myself permission to not talk when I don't want to(since I have kinda been taught to fill silence since a kid even when I don't want to), so we have a little conversation about short hair and how I will go with the flow for the wedding stuff then it got pretty quiet, which I like, as I don't like to chat.

It comes to taking the foils out after an hour and it is so bleached, I was a little upset cause I know my sibling has expectations about my hair not being out there, and it did not look natural at all. The stylist shows me a colour swatch for what colour I should go for, and points to this really ashy blond colour and asks if I am ok with that. I say no, and push for a darker colour. She then makes a comment about how I go with the flow which I am only now realising was a dig but at the time I just looked at her like ???

A different lady finish the trim, which was probably the other lady wanting to work with someone less weird but idk that whole experience was horrible 😅

Idk if she just didn't understand me, or I wasn't making myself clear but it was a weird experience and I won't be going back to that place for sure.
