Über Betty und Behring hab ich schon einiges geschrieben, viel mehr hab ich zu ihrem Video nicht zu sagen, außer dass ich echt froh bin, dass es jetzt auch einen glücklichen Kuss gibt. Die vorherigen waren... für den ersten fällt mir kein wirklich passendes Adjektiv ein, aber danach kam wütend und traurig. Ich hoffe wirklich, dass Max und Betty in nicht all zu ferner Zukunft mal wieder zusammen arbeiten, sie sind einfach so gut zusammen...

Das Wichtige für mich sind die Reaktionen der Kollegen.

Da muss ich mit Talula anfangen, ihre Reaktion ist glaube ich mein Lieblingsaspekt an der ganzen Szene. Sie ist die personifizierte Reaktion der Shipper, und in so einem Moment so jemanden zu haben ist einfach immer toll. Und bei jedem nochmaligen Anschauen freue ich mich immer wieder über sie und entdecke immer wieder neue kleine Details, die mich glücklich machen.

Betty 2.0 reagiert auch sehr schön, ich finde es auch gut, dass sie von Betty D. direkt angesprochen wird und sie sich bei ihr bedankt. Das schlägt eine schöne Brücke zwischen den beiden Bettys. Und ich finde es toll, wie sie auf die Reaktionen der anderen reagiert. Zum einen Talula und zum anderen...

Wären wir dann bei Helena. Da ich nie wirklich ein Fan von Behring x von Arnstett war, hab ich es früher nicht so detailliert bemerkt, aber jetzt muss ich auf jeden Fall sagen, dass ich begeistert von Claudia Hiersches Schauspiel bin. Wie sie die Sorge spielt, wirklich klasse! Und dann ihre Reaktion, ich wüsste zwar nicht, wie ich ihre Gefühle beschreiben sollte, aber ich kann sie (bzw. das, was ich aus ihrer Reaktion herauslese) wirklich gut nachvollziehen, es passt einfach. Und Betty bemerkt das (und, wie ich in dem einen Cap, den ich gemacht habe, gesehen habe, Fr. Puhl auch!), geht aber nicht weiter drauf ein. Aber diesen Blick zu Helena rüber finde ich auch immer wieder gut.

Bei Frau Puhls Reaktion bin ich mir da nicht so sicher, das ist so eine Mischung aus Stirnrunzeln und verhaltener Freude, die mich nicht so anspricht und packt wie Talulas Freude oder Helenas scheinbarer Kampf um Kontrolle über sich selbst.

Ich hätte einfach wirklich gerne Gifs, um das Ganze in kurzen Abschnitten wiederholt und bewegt anstarren zu können. Und, wie gesagt, eine Fanfiction, die den Tag zwischen Behrings Abreise und dem Video beschreibt.

Betty x Behring - Betty’s Diagnose Folge 4x11

I’ve been thinking about this quite a bit, so have some headcanons about some of my favourite ships and their (potential) offspring (for now mostly names and genders - maybe there’ll be a post about looks and character later on). The first few ships are canonically going to be parents (again) but haven’t had their child in canon yet, the further I get, the less canon the ships and offspring become.

Scully and Mulder (The X Files): They’re canonically going to have a miracle baby and I hope CC doesn’t get a way to ruin it all. Let the show rest and let us have our headcanons! Mine is that they have a girl whom they call Maggie, after Scully’s mum. Also William is alive and well and they’re a happy family. The End.

Lisbon and Jane (The Mentalist): In my world they have two kids, the first one’s a boy, Felix, a few years later they have a girl, Olivia (thanks Finn, I love it and take it!).

Lois and Hal (Malcolm in the Middle): I want them to finally have a girl, Georgie.

CC and Niles (The Nanny): Here I’m not completely sure about gender, but the name’s Sidney. I definitely headcanon them as masculine, but if they’re cis or trans or NB, I’m not sure. Also, gay. Ship them with Jonah Sheffield.

Monica and Chandler (Friends): They had two kids in the series finale, Jack and Erica, Chandler said in season 7 that he imagines them having four. So in my headcanon they do, another boy and girl, Daniel and Ida. (not sure if adopted again or miraculously concieved - leaning towards adopted - and, have you noticed, their kids’ names’ first letters spell JEDI)

Elizabeth and Matthew (Freezing, BBC): In the three episodes we got they were looking to adopt, headcanon is that shortly after episode 3 they found a kid. Alex, Enby, maybe 8 to 10-ish at the time they got adopted.

Betty and Marco (Betty’s Diagnose): I still want Betty to be pregnant from the night in 3x12, the angles in her video-messages don’t contradict it as far as I remember. They have a girl in Barcelona and call her Marina Elisabeth.

Sam and Jack (Stargate SG1): Not even canonically together, but considered thus by fans and TPTB. There’s a novel where they have a daughter called Ellie in ancient Egypt, I’ll take Ellie and leave Egypt. Not sure if I think they have more kids (not more than 3), but that daughter called Ellie has to be there.

Barbara and Ian (Doctor Who): They have a half-canonical son, John, I like him and keep him. I’d let them have two more kids, daughter Alexis and son Thomas.

Evelyne and Émile (La vie d’un honnête homme): Of the 11 films Claude and Louis have done together they were married in 7 and had kids in 3 of those, I needed one where they were young and could theoretically get together and have a family afterwards, so this one. First they have a boy, Luc, and then twins, Leslie and Louis. (This is half about the characters and half about my fandom family - or maybe also the 50s characters I’m inventing for them)

Al and Sam (Quantum Leap): Canonically there’s no real chance for them to have a family together, except for that one episode ‘Another Mother’ where Sam leaped into a single mum who had three kids and Al helped him with the little one. That family was pretty close to what I’m imagining, they have a boy, Charles, and then two girls, Maria and Teresa.
