So I'm gonna talk about my durge's cause I love both of them and think they are neat but they both had very different ways of going about their dark urges before the start of the game.
Now we have Lilith(she/her) my teifling warlock/bard. Who actually really wasn't a fan of being a leader of a murder cult and actually tried to escape a few times in her teenage years but slowly realized she would just be dragged by to her own personal hell. I like to think Bhaal took over her body way more often then other Bhaalspawn as punishment for the fact she was as resistant as she was. And even by the end when she got her light laugh love lobtomy she was still fighting to try and get away. Now I do imagine she got pretty close to Gortash like they were fully in love and like the whole brain plan was more something she thought if she did then she would finally get bhaal to leave her alone. But after some realization she would never be left alone if she did she was going to actually try and run away with Gortash but on her way to go and basically ask him to marry her and run away she gets jumped by Orin and then the stuff happens. She's also way more feral than my other durge is.
Then we have Siliin(they/them/she/her)....who is a very tired drow. Like when they were a child they tried to fight but after a few punishments just decided they should give up and do whatever their dad wanted. Now the ironic thing is Siliin is very smart like they are considered a genius by many and also fully came up with the elder brain plan on their own and then got their dads approval for them it was really nothing and figured it might get bhaal off their ass for a while. But Eventually during the course of the plan, they fell into a really deep depression and this is when Orin came into the picture, admitly Siliin also was just going to propose to Gortash and ask him to just leave with them, now I say was because unlike Lilith, Siliin actually just decided against it realizing Gortash would most likely say no to the idea but this made their depression worse so the elder brain plan got put in a stalemate of sorts for a few months I imagine. Of course, Orin then attacks Siliin during this and honestly, they were happy Orin did and kind of wished they asked her to do it to them instead of it being this big plan.
