Internalized Shame and Queerness in a Broken World: A character deep dive for Bianca Moore, a FWC / FF 7 OC
Some characters are born from myth. Others are born from trauma. Bianca Moore, forged in prophecy and bathed in loss, carries both. Her story is not just celestial. It’s deeply human. Set against the homophobic backdrop of the 1990s and a lifetime of violence, Bianca’s journey invites us to examine how shame burrows itself beneath the skin, especially for queer women whose love is treated as threat, temptation, or sin.
In this week’s Pride Month Blorbo Blursday feature, we ask a question that cuts the deepest: What kind of internalized beliefs or shame has Bianca struggled with and how have they shaped her?
Trigger Warnings: abuse, betrayal, cults, death, emotional manipulation, homophobia, loss of a loved one, mind control, religious trauma, self-hatred, sexual coercion, suicide, torture, violence Read at your own digression.
From the moment Bianca became aware of her otherness, shame trailed her like a second shadow. Even before she had the language for queerness, she knew her affections were not normal by the standards of the world she was forced to navigate. Raised in a deeply religious, apocalyptic cult environment, where divine purpose and sin were spoken of in black and white, she internalized the belief that desire, especially same-sex desire, was a mark of corruption. Her dreams, both prophetic and emotional, were constantly scrutinized for purity. Love itself became suspect. So when she fell for Krista Gilmore, it was not just dangerous. It felt like proof that she was broken.
Krista’s betrayal only magnified the internal narrative already etched into Bianca’s bones: that her love is deadly. Krista was her first romantic connection, her first kiss, and her first glimpse of softness in a life of sharp edges: and Krista was also a weapon sent to destroy her. After stabbing the girl she loved to survive, Bianca buried the idea that her heart could be trusted. She even tried to take her own life and ended meeting the other half of her soul, Sephiroth, in a dreamscape as the paramedics was trying to revive her unconscious body.
From then on, queerness was synonymous with grief, manipulation, and death. She learned to associate affection with vulnerability, and vulnerability with violence. In a world where she was always being hunted, emotional safety became the most unattainable thing of all.
Her demonic heritage only deepened her sense of internal conflict. She had inherited both heaven and hell, light and shadow, and the very forces that created her viewed her as a threat. In the eyes of her enemies (and often, herself), queerness became tangled with monstrosity. She wasn't just a girl who loved another girl. She was a being who could end existence, corrupt purity, or tip the balance toward annihilation. That narrative seeped inward. For years, Bianca believed she had to earn the right to exist, to atone for being alive, for loving the wrong people, and for surviving what others did not.
Even when she rebuilt her life with Mordecai Delacroix, and later found solace in Sephiroth, shame did not fully leave her. She often questioned if anyone truly loved her, or if they loved what she represented: power, prophecy, and purpose.
With Sephiroth especially — another figure of myth and ruin — her queerness became tied to submission, temptation, and destruction. In their dreamscape, he didn’t just twist and amplify her trauma and, eventually, tempt her with dominion. He tempted her with a version of herself that embraced monstrosity without guilt. And part of her wanted it. God. A part of her needed it. That craving to stop feeling shame and to be fully seen even in darkness terrified her more than death.
Yet through all of it, Bianca has begun to reclaim herself. Though her love remains tangled in loss and vengeance, she has carved a space where softness is not a weakness, where vengeance does not negate love, and where queerness is not an illness to be cured. Shame still visits her like an old ghost, but she no longer lets it drive.
In the ruins of her past, she plants seeds of something more: not purity, not forgiveness, but power forged from truth. In the end, her queerness is not a side note in her prophecy. It is the prophecy. Love survives. And it refuses to apologize for doing so and will burn down everything for its truth.

Bianca, who was really a celestial being and not human but at the time did not know, was raised by a surrogate mother, Sarah Moore, and Sarah's husband David. However, when she was 10, Sarah was murdered by a cult that was devoted to Bianca's biological father, Asmodeus. David became her caretaker after that.
They were always on the run from the cult, living in seedy motels and moving every six months from town to town to stay one step ahead. She didn't have any formal education, as she taught herself from textbooks that David found in a dumpster outside of a high school.

"Cecilia Gallerani was born in Milan in 1473, the daughter of Fazio, a doctor of law, descendant of a family of Sienese origin who had emigrated to Milan for political reasons at the time of the feud between the Guelphs and Ghibellines. After their initial fortunes Fazio came to be referendary to the now widowed duchess Bianca Maria the Gallerani family went through a period of economic difficulties. Therefore Cecilia, unable to afford expensive teachers, was educated by her mother, the highly cultured Margherita de' Busti, who managed to provide her with so much knowledge and inculcate so many interests that she became one of the most cultured, brilliant and refined women.
The beautiful Cecilia, dressed in blue and purple, a long necklace of black pearls around her neck, looked to her left with a sweet and severe expression at the same time, with just the slightest hint of a smile. His hair was styled according to a style that Leonardo himself - a multiform genius, capable of inventing innovations even in the field of cosmetics - had invented: a long plait, embellished with a thin black ribbon wrapped around his forehead, known as a 'coazzone'. The Moor could not take his eyes off what Cecilia had in her arms: an ermine. An ermine that looked in the same direction as its 'mistress', to whom it even vaguely resembled, and which she held with her right hand softly hooked, as if to grasp it."

Bianca wants one simple thing: to be free from the prophecy that seems to taint her whole life. She is the Harbinger of the End: the one who will destroy the Omniverse and birth a new one. This prophecy was the reason why her father, Asmodeus, conceived her. She is always on the run / fighting against Asmodeus' machinations due to this.
In the end, she chooses to embrace the prophecy: an Omniverse without humans where she can rule with her soul-mate. This leaves her father out in the cold, destroying his plans to become a Creator god, and regains her autonomy.
But she has lost so much over it: her life, her childhood, and those she loved.
What is the one thing your OC wants but cannot possess?
Check pinned post for event details.

👑 FF 7 RPer 👩🎨 he / him 🎬Final Fantasy
I am 21+. I'm an indie author who cowrites with @bardic-tales, who also goes by the name of Nicole or NL. Nicole is my wife.
As I am a closed RP account, I typically am not searching for any type of followers.
Adult Policy
I occasionally post adult material on this blog. It will always be hidden beneath a read more line. There will be smut. This will be between @bardic-tales and myself.
Ask Policy
I do allow anon asks. If I receive hate mail even one time, I block the account.
Headcanon Policy
We have very specific head canons for Bianca and Sephiroth. You can view all headcanons on @bardic-tales' blog under headcanons: fwc: ff.
Fandoms Policy
The fandoms I RP are just Final Fantasy 7.
As a RPer for FF7, @bardic-tales and I have chosen to use the events of the “FFVII: Last Order” anime as the basis for Sephiroth’s 'death'. This choice adds a deeper layer of tragedy to Bianca Moore’s story.
Also, please know that there will be spoilers for the Remakes (Remake and Rebirth) on this blog. Please read at your own discretion.
RP Policy
At the moment, other than @bardic-tales, I am not opened to RPing with anyone. All RP posts are tagged: #rp: fwc and take place in my passion project, Fantasy Worlds Collide.
Trigger Policy
There are plenty of triggers, since I RP as Sephiroth and his history is full of extremely sensitive material. There is no set era to Sephiroth, as we are dealing with a Multiverse.

Chloe Bailey sued for allegedly failing to pay songwriter, Davido postpones fifth album “5ive” to April 18, Tems celebrates San Diego FC’s historic first MLS win. Stay in the know with our Rave News Digest, which summarizes five of the hottest global news stories you need to catch up on, saving you time and energy. Consider it your daily news fix. 1. Chloe Bailey sued for allegedly failing to pay songwriter Chlöe Bailey & Columbia Records are being sued by songwriter-producer Melvin Moore for allegedly not paying or properly crediting him for his contributions to her album ‘Trouble In Paradise.’ The lawsuit seeks up to $150K per willful infringement and punitive damages of $5… pic.twitter.com/yODTQocre8 — Pop Crave (@PopCrave) February 23, 2025 R&B singer Chloe Bailey has been sued by songwriter Melvin “4rest” Moore, who claims he was not properly credited or compensated for his contributions to three songs on her latest album, “Trouble In Paradise.” The lawsuit, filed against Bailey, Parkwood Entertainment, and Columbia Records, accuses the defendants of copyright infringement, fraudulent misrepresentation, violations of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), civil conspiracy, and deceptive business practices. According to Billboard, Moore alleges that he did not give consent for the commercial exploitation of the songs “Favorite,” “Might As Well,” and “Same Lingerie,” which he says were written based on his personal experiences. Despite being credited as a songwriter on two of the three tracks, Moore contends that his attempts to resolve the matter through negotiations over nearly 200 days were unsuccessful. He is seeking up to $150,000 for each intentional copyright violation, a public retraction from the defendants, and an investigation into the revenue generated from the disputed songs. Additionally, Moore has requested punitive damages of $5 million per song and filed a DMCA takedown notice to have the tracks removed from the internet. 2. Davido postpones fifth album “5ive” to April 18 Davido’s “5ive” has been postponed and is set to arrive on the 18th of April, 2025. 💽 pic.twitter.com/Vb8nk9k5p3 — The Debut Hub (@thedebuthub) February 25, 2025 Nigerian music star Davido has pushed back the release of his highly anticipated fifth studio album, “5ive,” by a month. Originally scheduled to drop on March 15, the album will now be released on April 18. While the singer did not disclose the reason for the delay, excitement remains high among fans as he continues to build momentum with new music. Announcing the project on social media, Davido described “5ive” as a deeply personal album that reflects his journey, truth, and growth. Despite the postponement, 2025 has already been a landmark year for Davido. He secured his fifth Grammy nomination at the 67th Grammy Awards for Best African Song Performance with his feature on Chris Brown’s “Sensational.” He is also in the running for five awards at the upcoming 17th Headies, including the prestigious Artist of the Year category. “5ive” is expected to include collaborations with Omah Lay and Adekunle Gold, adding to the anticipation surrounding the project. 3. Riky Rick to be honored with an album 3 years after his death On behalf of the Makhado family. We would like to announce the release of Riky Rick’s final album, Boss Zonke Forever. 4 April 2025 @RikyRickFdn @CottonFestJHB #BossZonkeForever #RikyRick pic.twitter.com/WYFKt3SI0k — Sony Music Africa (@SonyMusicAfrica) February 23, 2025 South African rapper Riky Rick, who tragically passed away on 23 February 2022, is set to be honored with a posthumous album, “Boss Zonke Forever.” His wife, Bianca Naidoo, announced the project on social media on 23 February 2025, exactly three years after his death. The news was met with an outpouring of love from fans who have continued to celebrate the late artist’s legacy. The 16-track album will feature collaborations with some of South Africa’s biggest stars, including Cassper Nyovest, Blxckie, and Focalistic, giving listeners one last opportunity to hear his voice in new music. Riky Rick, whose real name was Rikhado Makhado, was just 34 years old when he passed away, reportedly by suicide, leaving behind his wife and two children. His death left a lasting impact on the South African music scene, which later mourned the losses of AKA and Costa Titch in 2023. However, “Boss Zonke Forever,” set for release on April 4, aims to keep his memory alive through the music he was so passionate about. Sharing the album cover and tracklist on Instagram, Bianca captioned the post with a heartfelt tribute: “Forever, forever ever ♾️❤️,” signaling that Riky Rick’s influence and artistry will live on. 4. Young Thug announces first show since plea deals YOUNG THUG LES ARDENTES FESTIVAL 🏟️BELGIUM 🇧🇪 🚨JULY 5TH🚨 ▫️First Official Show Back pic.twitter.com/DcAwXCyClA — NFR Podcast (@nfr_podcast) February 25, 2025 Young Thug is making his long-awaited return to the stage after securing his release from jail through a plea deal. The Atlanta rapper has been confirmed as a headliner for Belgium’s Les Ardentes festival on July 5, marking his first live performance since his 2022 arrest. While fans are eager to see Thugger back in action, the rapper has yet to comment on the announcement, and no U.S. shows have been scheduled despite the terms of his plea deal requiring him to perform four charity concerts annually. His relative silence since his release may be due to an ongoing legal battle with AEG (Anschutz Entertainment Group), which claims Thug defaulted on a 2017 contract that granted him a $5.25 million loan. AEG asserts that, as a result, they hold the rights to his publishing and the ability to promote his live performances. The company previously sued the rapper in 2022 for nearly $6 million, alleging he continued to book independent shows despite their contractual agreement. With legal troubles looming, Young Thug’s return to the stage raises questions about how he will navigate both his career and his obligations under the dispute. 5. Tems celebrates San Diego FC’s historic first MLS win Listen! our ting is different!!🤭🥳🙌🏿💕 — TEMS (@temsbaby) February 24, 2025 Grammy Award-winning artist Tems celebrated San Diego FC’s stunning 2-0 victory over LA Galaxy in their first-ever Major League Soccer (MLS) match. The Nigerian singer, who became a club partner in February through her company, The Leading Vibe, took to social media to express her excitement over the team’s historic debut win. Danish forward Anders Dreyer stole the show with a brace, while Mexican star Hirving Lozano played a key role in securing the triumph over the reigning MLS Cup champions. The victory marks a dream start for the expansion team, setting the tone for their ambitious entry into the league. Tems’ involvement with San Diego FC highlights the growing connection between music, sports, and global entertainment in MLS. Her partnership, alongside notable figures like actress Issa Rae and former World Cup winner Juan Mata, reflects the club’s vision of making an impact both on and off the pitch. As the team builds on this momentum, they will prepare for their highly anticipated home opener against St. Louis City SC on March 1. With the excitement surrounding their debut, San Diego FC is quickly emerging as a team to watch this season. 5. The victory marks a dream start for the expansion team, setting the tone for their ambitious entry into the league. Tems’ involvement with San Diego FC highlights the growing connection between music, sports, and global entertainment in MLS. 2. This is a list of every AU that has Bianca Moore within it.
AU: Biker
AU: Omegaverse
AU: Redemption
AU: Rockstar
AU: Royal
AU: Vampire
AU: Biker
AU Type: au: biker | au: canon divergent | modern biker outlaw
Steel & Shadows reimagines the world of Final Fantasy VII as a gritty, modern urban environment ruled by outlaw biker gangs instead of an industrial dystopia. The supernatural and fantasy elements are stripped away, placing the characters in a world of underground racing, illicit dealings, and city-wide corruption. Sephiroth is the enigmatic and ruthless leader of Silver Eclipse, a feared biker gang that dominates the streets. Bianca, a romance novelist fascinated by the dark allure of dangerous men, finds herself entangled in his world while researching her next book. Their relationship is a volatile mix of obsession, power, and undeniable attraction, set against the backdrop of a city that thrives on chaos and control.
AU: Omegaverse
AU Type: au: omegaverse | au: canon divergent | soulmate | Supernatural
In "Bound in Shadows," the bond between Bianca and Sephiroth transcends traditional Alpha-Omega dynamics. It is rooted in a profound soul-bond that connects their minds, bodies, and souls. This is set against the backdrop of Gaia (FF 7's world) where Alphas, Betas, and Omegas navigate complex social hierarchies. This AU reimages the characters' relationships, as it focuses on the intense emotional and spiritual connection between Bianca and Sephiroth.
AU: Redemption
AU Type: Canon-divergent AU, Fantasy, Dark
The Redemption AU diverges from the original Final Fantasy VII storyline with significant changes centered around Sephiroth and Bianca. In this universe, Bianca and Sephiroth meet as children, ages 8 and 10, respectively, and endure years of experimentation under Hojo at Shinra Manor. Bianca uses her demonic powers to block out Jenova's influence on Sephiroth, preventing the Nibelheim Incident and altering the course of events. Together, they find redemption by aiding AVALANCHE and working against Shinra while trying to balance their dark pasts and Sephiroth’s fragile grip on sanity.
AU: Rockstar
AU Type: modern music | romance
Set in a modern world where music is a universal language that binds souls together, Strings of Destiny follows the lives of Sephiroth, Angeal, and Genesis, who form a globally renowned pop-rock band called LOVELESS. Bianca, a smoky-voiced lounge singer with a mysterious allure, performs in intimate jazz bars, unaware that her soulmate—Sephiroth—is a rising musical icon. The story explores their journey of discovery, destiny, and the red string of fate that connects them despite their vastly different worlds. Themes of love, music as a healing force, and the inevitability of destiny are woven throughout.
AU: Royal
AU Type: historical romance | fantasy | political intrigue | canon divergent
The Royal AU is set against the vibrant, treacherous backdrop of an Italian Renaissance-inspired kingdom, noblewoman Bianca and her loyal knight protector, Sephiroth, navigate the intricate dance of forbidden love and duty. The world of opulent courts, gilded halls, and masked balls masks an undercurrent of dangerous political intrigue where family honor, loyalty, and secrets dictate every move. Sephiroth and Bianca are bound by duty yet yearn for freedom. They must keep their love hidden to avoid social ruin and fend off plots that could destroy them both.
AU: Vampire
AU Type: gothic fantasy | au: canon divergent
In this Gothic reimagining of Final Fantasy 7, humanity exists in a dark, supernatural world where vampires and other night-dwellers roam, hunted by elite SOLDIER vampire hunters under Shinra’s command. Sephiroth, a distinguished and cold hunter, faces an unexpected bond with Bianca, a vampire created through dark experiments involving his own DNA. Bound by a red string of fate, they are both drawn to and repelled by each other, with their connection complicated by a son born through these experiments. As Hojo manipulates events from the shadows, Sephiroth's loyalty to his duty, his human wife, and his hidden connection to Bianca clash.

Met officers reinstated after appeal over Bianca Williams stop and search | UK | News
Two former Metropolitan Police officers have been handed their jobs back after winning an appeal against a ruling they lied during a stop and search. Former Met Pcs Jonathan Clapham and Sam Franks were dismissed in October last year aftaer disciplinary panel found they had lied about smelling the drug when they pulled over Olympic sprinter Ricardo Dos Santos and his partner Bianca Williams. The finding has been overturned by the Police Appeals Tribunal which found the original decision was “irrational” and “inconsistent”. Former Pcs Clapham and Franks were “dedicated, hard-working and much respected officers” whose reputations had been “ruined” by the original findings, Appeals Tribunal chairman Damien Moore said. “Both officers did not lie. Both officers will now be reinstated to the Met Police. They should receive back-pay.” The police followed the athletes as they drove back from training to their west London home with their baby son, then three months old, in the back seat of their Mercedes. The Police Appeals Tribunal hearing was told the original decision had been “inherently unreasonable”. Hugh Davies, representing Clapham, said the officers had “every reason to suspect criminality” when they pulled Dos Santos over. “Look at how he had driven. Fifteen seconds to get out of the car. His whole attitude.” Mr Davies said another officer at the scene had smelt cannabis, but was not found to have lied. “These findings are inherently unreasonable,” he continued. “There was a smell of cannabis. “It’s unreasonable to assume Clapham did not smell cannabis in the area and lied about it. The idea that an officer of (Clapham’s) character should lose his career is contrary to all fair sense.” “He is a person who is an absolute credit to the police.” During the incident, officers handcuffed the couple and they were searched on suspicion of having drugs and weapons, but nothing was found. The force came under heavy criticism after footage of the stop was posted on social media, showing a distressed Williams who was concerned about being separated from her baby. Misconduct panel chairwoman Chiew Yin Jones said Clapham and Franks’ conduct had breached standards of professional behaviour in respect of honesty and integrity and this amounted to gross misconduct. They were then sacked. After the hearing, Deputy Assistant Commissioner Matt Ward said: “Honesty and integrity are at the core of policing and, as the panel has concluded, there can be no place in the Met for officers who do not uphold these values.” In the wake of their dismissal, an online appeal raised more than £150,000 for the officers. At the Paris Olympics this summer, Williams was part of the women’s 4x100m quartet heat that qualified for the final and went on to win a silver medal. An IOPC spokesperson said: “We note the outcome today of the officers’ appeal and await the written decision by the Police Appeals Tribunal.” Source link via The Novum Times

"But of all his sons and daughters, whether legitimate or natural, the one for whom the Moor felt the most intense and enduring affection was Bianca Giovanna, born of a torrid youthful affair with an Apulian girl of humble origins, Bernardina de Corradis, perhaps the daughter of fishermen, whom he met in 1482, when Ludovico, Duke of Bari and in exile, was frequenting the city. Having settled Bernardina for the better, he wanted to keep little Bianca Giovanna with him, taking her to Milan, and promised her in marriage to Galeazzo Sanseverino, the brilliant and charming knight who won the joust held to marry Beatrice.
At the same time, on 20 June 1496, Bianca Giovanna, the Moor's 15-year-old daughter, married Galeazzo Sanseverino, to whom she had been promised when she was still a child. Ludovico loved his first-born daughter very much, illegitimate and then legitimised, the result, as we have already said, of an ardent youthful passion with Bernardina de Corradis, a girl from Bari, perhaps the daughter of fishermen, whom he had met when he was in Apulia as duke of Bari but, in fact, in exile. He had become so fond of this girl that, on his return to Milan, he wanted to take her with him. Because of her grace, beauty and friendliness, Bianca Giovanna was soon considered one of the most promising bridesmaids of the court: 'She is no less dear to me as if she had been born to me from my most illustrious consort,' Ludovico repeated, and he was sincere if one thinks that he had given her the town of Voghera as dowry." - Carlo Maria Lomartire, Il Moro. Tumblr Game: Heads Up. Seven Up.
Thank you so much for the tag, @oh-no-another-idea. I really enjoy the dialogue in your snippet.
Rules: Share the last 7 sentences you wrote.
This is from an upcoming short story that I am writing, featuring my Bianca Moore, my Nephilim character, and the Cult that is chasing her. My passion project is a huge dark fantasy that spans original and fandom content.
This is the first introduction of Bianca. I've been out of practice since I haven't really wrote anything worthwhile since last November. But I always believed that writing is like riding a bike. Your talent is always there. Just need to dust it off.
The sun sat low in the sky, as bands of oranges and reds blazed across the Heavens. A white mist slowly rolled over the hills and down into the valley, reaching out to the cars, houses, and trees like skeletal fingers seeking to squeeze the life out of the sleepy surroundings. Ever seeking the Destroyer of the Multiverse — or whatever that meant.
Bianca Moore sat in the middle of her bed and watched the scrambled lines on the blocked premium cable station, squinting to see the movie. She wanted to cover up with the itchy, beige wool blanket that was so thin that she shivered each chilly night, but the stains upon the thin material gave her pause. Who knew what caused the splotches of red and white?
From the tender age of ten, Bianca knew motels like this were not known for their stellar cleanliness.
