So, I have been working on short flash fictions for Whumptober. This is from the Trust Issues. This Sephiroth is the caregiver, and his future self is the whumper. This Sephiroth is a fragment attached to Bianca's soul and only exists for this event.
Content Warning: physical abuse, bruising and injury, graphic description of wounds
“Why are you doing this?” Bianca shied away from his hand, as her breath hammered in throat. Ugly marks ringed around her wrist: crimson against the delicate skin. The raw skin ached when it was touched, as small, bloody lines amalgamated with the dark purple bruises.
“I would never hurt you, Bia.” Sephiroth knelt before her. A forest green haze oscillated around him, raising up off of his shoulders like fine mist before twisting around before descending to rejoin the rest of the wispy veil that covered his body. "I'm not him."

This week hitting me with a Praedyth reference has ruined me. In D1 after we help him in the Vault, we take his things to Lakshmi, and she claims that there is no member of FWC by that name, but the codes you present would have had to be approved by her if they existed. In effect, by being in the Vault, it seemed like Praedyth was erased from the "main" timeline. But I never even considered that Elsie, with her whole deal, might still know of him, or could have at one point spoken with him in another timeline...
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Praedyth mentioned seeing Elsie in every timeline! I'm not sure if they ever interacted but yeah.
"Every timeline I see through the door of my cell, every sliver of reality, bears one constant. Her. She's always there. Standing sometimes off to the side, sometimes in the foreground. Sometimes sad, sometimes speaking to herself. And always carrying a gun."
She may have known of him too somehow? I am dying to know what the hell they meant with this. Not helped by the lore for the No Time To Explain from D1 which mentions several theories from characters about how the gun was made, one of them being:
Deliah's timeline analysis indicates the weapon was built by Praedyth, who based it on his own version of the Exo Stranger's Rifle, and then set it adrift in a time ripple.
The people making theories are members of the FWC, btw. What's up with all that. They really do be sending us spiralling with half a sentence.

Note
Like the original Wizards, the first season is slice of life shenanigans as the new generation learn spells and get into trouble.
The first season ends with Alex and Mason's daughter starting to question the FWC rule after something happens.
Season two and onward are more plot and lore heavy as the FWC plot ramps up and characters develop.
YES!!

Destiny: No Time To Explain COMPLETE GUIDE
Posted on October 20, 2015 875 Upvotes | 96% Upvoted | 453 Comments
————————————————————
Hey guys! This mission can be unlocked by getting Praedyth's ghost in the Heroic/daily version of Paradox. Once you get it and also turn it in, you must wait until next weekly reset (Tuesday, 2 AM PST). The quest will be available to start in the Tower at Lakshmi, the FWC rep only on the character you handed the shell in on.
Here is a guide on how to get the ghost if you have not already done so. This is intended to only be done in Paradox when it is the daily. (Edit: It can be done when it's not the daily too. Here's how!)
DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT WASTE MOTES TRYING TO GAIN REPUTATION IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE FIRST QUEST STEP. YOU CAN GAIN THIS QUEST AT 0 FWC REP. IT IS ON A TIME LOCK ONLY. IF YOU HAVE HANDED IN THE SHELL, YOU MUST WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEKLY RESET. DO. NOT. WASTE. MOTES.
Quest name: NOT FORGED IN LIGHT
Step 1: Ready for War
Description:
"Earn reputation through donations to the Future War Cult"
Quest Text Here
5 Motes of Light = 10%
25 Armor Materials = 5%
25 Weapon Parts = 5%
2 Heavy Synth = 5%
Step 2: Talk to Lakshmi-2
Step 3: The Simulation Core
Description:
"Here's how I see it: the Hive want to eat us. The Fallen want our stuff and the Cabal want our planet. But it's the Vex, Guardian, only the Vex can take our past away from us. If we're going to understand what these files mean, I'm going to need more context.
Hunt down a powerful Minotaur Taken by Oryx. Destroy it, and pull a simulation core from its husk. Shatter the core and return to me."
Quest Text Here
This is a GUARANTEED drop from doing the Paradox daily with the secret mission, so if you haven't done the daily yet and want a free legendary engram this is your best bet.
Any major/ultra Taken minotaurs can also drop it, but red minotaurs cannot.
This is the item it drops. It can be found in the Mission section of your inventory. Hold square (on PS4) while hovering over the item to shatter it.
After you destroy it, there's some cool flavor text
Step 4: Talk to Lakshmi-2
Step 5: The Eye of Atheon
Description:
"Excellent work. I'll make good use of the data your Ghost is feeding me. We've spect more time looking through these files, and we believe we know what your next step must be. It will not be an easy one.
Gather a Fireteam and return to the Vault of Glass. Confront Time's Conflux, Atheon, and take its eye. Within the eye will be invaluable data. Shatter it, as you did the simulation core, and then return to me."
Quest Text Here
This is super easy with level 40 Guardians. We managed to bring him down in less than 10 seconds with a tether and 2 Sleeper Simulants.
This does not need to be done on Hard mode!
Here's the item he drops, just shatter it like the last item.
Step 6: Talk to Lakshmi-2
Step 7: Approach the Twilight Gap
Description:
"Excellent. I'll begin my analysis of Atheon's data at once. In the meantime, I have results from the simulation core. The heart of the Minotaur revealed a ... ripple. A snag in the timestream around the Twilight Gap.
Head out to the pass, try to determine what Praedyth's Ghost saw there. Then, return to my side."
Quest Text Here
Step 8: Shadows at Twilight
After you spawn in, the mission updates
This can only be done as a single player.
You spawn in and slowly start getting blinded, similar to a Golgoroth wipe. You can clear the blind, and prevent dying by running into pools.
You must find an item, a bracelet, which is hidden in a chest. For me, it was near Point B in Control. For my friend it was near the special ammo spawn at Point C.
If you're a hunter, put on keen scout as the chest will show up on your radar.
Step 9: Talk to Lakshmi-2
Step 10: Approach the Black Garden
Description:
"Let me see what you ... a bracelet. With the symbol of House Bray? Ana Bray's personal sigil. Guardian, the inner circle will be grateful that you have returned this artifact to the Tower.
The data you retrieved from the Eye of Atheon, meanwhile, has pinpointed another ripple. This one is at the heart of the Black Garden.
It is time you returned to Mars. The rippled in the Garden apparently flows from a construct called "the Groundskeeper." Find it, destroy it. And return to my side."
Quest Text here
Step 11: Blood in the Garden
After you spawn in, the mission will update.
You definitely want at least one other person for this mission.
At the start, you must "anger" the Groundskeeper. You do this by killing the Vex. The Goblins will give you 2% increase in his anger per kill. However, if you don't kill them quickly enough you will start losing progress.
This format is similar to the speed patrol missions, except with kills.
Minotaurs will eventually spawn, a lot of them. These seem to give you somewhere around 7-10% anger but are obviously harder to kill.
They have void shields, so void weapons will make this a breeze.
Once you hit 100%, the Groundskeeper will spawn. He's a giant minotaur and you must kill him to progress. If you drop below 100%, he will despawn.
There will be tons of Minotaurs between you and the boss and they will keep respawning.
Dying here will not wipe you, it is not a darkness zone.
Here's a video guide on how to get to a helpful cheese spot. For some reason, the video skips but you can just jump there smoothly. You can't die here and can easily snipe out the boss.
Step 12: Talk to Lakshmi-2
Description:
"And now ... what? A ring, with the symbol of the Warlock Pujari? Death, again. Like Ana Bray, a Guardian fallen to the second death. Lost to us. We shall study these objects, Guardian. Learn why they have been pulled through time.
I believe your work is over. For now. Praedyth's files have unspooled. Their data undone like uncoiled strands of hair. And what has fallen free?
A weapon, transmatted from some time and some place, and specifically for you. Someone has taken notice of our actions, Guardian. Someday, we may be able to ask them what all this means."
Quest Text & Reward Screen here
Congratulations! Enjoy your No Time To Explain!
EDIT: Here's a short video guide!
EDIT2 : It looks like the reset did not make this quest available to characters who turned in Praedyth's ghost on 10/20. According to /u/nathanields "if you did paradox daily first time around and therefore had the 'Not Forged in Light' quest yesterday but didn't start it, it's still there today."

For that character ask meme, Praedyth?
Ohhhhhhhhhh...
1. FWC. He was a member of the FWC, and a quite high-ranking to that, considering Lakshmi saying she should have seen and personally approved the files found on Praedyth's Ghost yet she does not recognise it. I haven't yet quite figured out the relationship between that fact and his Vault excursion, but it is clear he had his reasons to go there other than it merely being a quasi-legal Guardian operation with his fireteam that he just tagged along on. I wonder if he was sent there by Lakshmi, even.
2. No Time To Explain. The breeding ground of Come in Time was my musings on the connection between Praedyth and Elsie, and how profound it was, and how often forgotten about. He says he could see her in every timeline (Praedyth's visions are another thing I don't quite know how to tackle but I'm very passionate about, least to say they might have made every single player Guardian canon), always with that same rifle, and he recreates and sends this rifle (though I don't know if he intended it to find her, or just recreated whatever he saw as from a blueprint) as a warning to the Guardians about the coming Darkness. The "Soon" on the casing? It's him warning us:
Praedyth carves messages into the last functional pieces of his gear: anything that can serve as a bottle for his messages, thrown out on time's ocean. And what does a Guardian pay more attention to than their equipment? They'll catch someone's eye, somewhen.
He knows the wave is coming. More visions flicker past him now, burning afterimages into his eyelids. More timelines—a possibility or eventuality, he doesn't know—lost to the encroaching dark.
He knows they won't be able to handle it alone. He knows they need a warning. They need to know it's coming.
Soon.
I could go into details on why and how I think the message on the casing has changed in Beyond Light (as per the BL exotic No Time To Explain lore) but it would require me ranting on The Way I Think Time Works In Destiny and I can't really do that without opening fifteen tabs in my phone browser, sadly. But enough to say I think it is still the same weapon.
3. There is such profound sadness echoing throughout his story, from the failed raid, through his time in the Vault, to the possibility of escape yet into a world where his friends are dead and the Darkness looms overhead. But I think it's deeper than just that--that it is this overwhelming, all-consuming existential sorrow of a person against the abyss of time, the terror you feel gazing up the night sky and suddenly growing afraid you're gonna fall into it. This realisation of how small and fleeting your life is contrasted with eternity, how volatile the human struggles in the scope of the infinite.
4. Fate. His existence really feels like a doomed one, doesn't it? But unlike, say, Pahanin's, I do believe it has a happy end after all; the Paradox mission ends with him merely a corpse and an echo of a man whose last screamed words are "Remember, tell them I lived" and it feels like a closure, but it is only a beginning. We have Aspect later on, and then Praedyth's Revenge (Timelost), and it's really something of a story in reverse and I really love that. He illustrates the core concept of the VoG raid itself: Guardians are not bound by fate the way the Vex see it and they can defy time, no matter how doomed their story can seem.
5. Less a concept and more of a characteristic, but it's a nice little tidbit of info about him that spreads throughout his story - he is innovative and quite an engineer, he scrambles up a a radio out of his armour, Elsie's rifle, and possibly a device(?) which helps the Ishtar teams escape the Vault, using pieces of his rifles. Oh and he made Kabr a spinmetal helmet once! It's just neat to see him having that thing he's really good at, it fleshes him out as a character and makes sense in the scope of the story.

9.12.24: Character Sheet: Bianca Moore.
Meet Bianca Moore, a mesmerizing figure that blends the realms of Final Fantasy 7, Inuyasha, and original work bringing together love and devotion that transcends time and space.
👄 Appearance
Tumblr media
After Bianca was infused with the S-cells and Jenova cells, she underwent a transformation. She stands five feet tall with an hour-glass figure (36-24-36) and waist length wavy brown hair tied with a white (cream) colored ribbon. She has glowing indigo eyes with feline-like pupils. Her wings are black (and indigo not pictured above) and can spread to 9.92 feet. She has kept her small fangs and long, slender demon tongue that most of the succubi in the Abyssal Realm has.
Bianca likes to wear light pink lip gloss, as well as 'elite' eyeliner, and a smokey eye-shadow.
💫 Powers
Tumblr media
All abilities are corrupted and either have either shadow or life draining nature to them. She has spatial, temporal, and reality bending abilities, along with being able to converse with departed souls since she is a celestial being.
At the height of her powers and only with her infusion of Jenova cells, she is able to summon a hypernova. She still has to master this.
NOTE: Weaknesses
Bianca's abilities are severely corrupted, leading to emotional instability, reduced combat effectiveness, and vulnerability to manipulation. Her powers fluctuate unpredictably due to Jenova's influence, shadow corruption, and life-draining effects, which impair her focus, endurance, and defensive capabilities.
⚔️ Battle Attire
Tumblr media
Bianca wears a tight-fitting biker vest. It's complemented by tight leather pants, while shiny silver triple-plated spaulders which are covered with Sephiroth's fallen feathers adorn her black trench coat. A large leather obi with two large belt belts are tied over her trench coat. A black sword frog secures her weapons, including the Solstice great sword on her back and the hilt of the tachi at her hip. She summons the blades of both Solstice and Noctemaris from the space between time and space.
Note: She always wears her ribbon in her hair, as this was given to her by Sephiroth before the Nibelheim Incident. She views it as his last act of sanity before the descent into madness.
👗 Everyday Attire
Tumblr media
Bianca's every day outfit consists of oversized knitted sweaters, mirrored sunglasses, and open-toed stiletto sandals (or boots if she is in the crater). She often pairs dark beige trousers cinched tightly with a chocolate colored leather belt. Her signature outerwear is her cream-colored trench coat. Her overall every day color palette ranges from white to earthy browns. Note: She always wears her ribbon in her hair, as this was given to her by Sephiroth before the Nibelheim Incident. She views it as his last act of sanity before the descent into madness.

@salt216000 said: Tell us your thoughts about Osiris I dare you
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Osiris, Warden of the Infinite Forest? I thought not. It’s not a story the Vanguard would tell you...
alright alright alright
Tumblr media
i have A LOT of thoughts about osiris so buckle up, i’m gonna be going over A LOT starting at the beginning to the end of his exile (also i won’t be talking much about immolant because it makes me too sad when i’m already sad about him for other reasons)
I want to talk about this phrase I often use in regards to Osiris first. “Exile as a state of mind.”
EXILE AS A STATE OF MIND.
So like. The thing about Osiris is that time moves faster in the Infinite forest than it does outside of it. And from what I've been able to gather In Real Time he's only been exiled for about 40 at the least, 200 at most, whereas for him it's been hundreds, if not thousands, of years. All that time he's been exiled, all that time he's come to accept that fact, that there is no last city to fall back on whenever he needs to. That there was no one to rely on, not truly. That he had to fight this war against the Vex alone. That it was Him and Only Him.
So it becomes a state of mind.
Worse yet, it's a title, one that he still uses despite no longer being exiled. (Read in One Exile to Another, and a few of the Hunt Armor loretabs.) so there's a disconnect between him and the people he loves because he is still exiled in his mind, he does not have anyone to rely on other than himself. Exile, not as a state of being, but a state of mind, because he can no longer think how it will be otherwise.
Exile, as a state of mind, because if he accepts that he is no longer exiled, then what? Who will he be? He won’t be a Commander, he won’t be the Hero of Six Fronts, he won’t be any of that, he’ll be stuck as Osiris.
And Osiris is a terribly lonely man.
Let’s also consider what Osiris’s exile was like in the first place. How it really took place, not through the skewed lens of The Fall of Osiris comic or through the biased perspective of Osiris’s journals.
Consensus Meeting 2891.98
NM: "I note for the record that we are without a Warlock Vanguard or a Vanguard Commander." Andal Brask: "Two birds, one man." Zavala: "Ikora Rey is interim Warlock Vanguard for this meeting." Speaker: "Which brings us to our first order of business. Ikora Rey, the Consensus formally requests you assume the responsibilities of Warlock Vanguard." Ikora Rey: "Considering I've been performing those responsibilities for a while now, I accept." FWC: "Why did you cover for him for so long?" IR: "Someone had to do it." S: "Ahem. Now that we have Consensus, I may inform you I have decided to banish former Warlock Vanguard Osiris from the Last City." [murmurs] S: "Are there any objections?" DO: "None here. Maybe he'll find a better planet for us." [pause] S: "Very well. Next: I name Titan Vanguard Zavala as the new Vanguard Commander. Congratulations." (Curse of Foresight)
It was so casual and no one stood up for him. It was a unanimous decision. It’s no wonder Osiris has so much trouble reaching out for help. Last time he did he was exiled, last time he did everyone he cared about turned their backs on him, Saint wasn’t exempt from this. He must have felt some sense of betrayal from this. And it stuck with him.
GOD IN THE MACHINE.
This one’s a much more subtle thing and based upon observations but I do want to talk about how terrifyingly close Osiris was to, essentially, godhood.
There was a quote in Destiny 1 at some point when you’re hunting down Oryx, I can’t seem to find the exact quote on Ishtar, but it was something along the lines of “In order to be a god you must have eyes everywhere.”
Osiris has a lot of eye imagery.
Another way Osiris was close to godhood is that he had the ability to make echoes. There’s only one other character in Destiny who was able to do that. You guessed it: Oryx (albeit he used Darkness instead of Light to do it but the sentiment remains.)
Additionally, let’s not forget that Destiny tends to play on character’s names whenever their names come from something of power. Toland commented upon Eris’s name being a name of chaos reflecting that she’s named after the Chthonic Goddess, Eris. And Osiris being named Osiris, an Egyptian God of death, well... Need I say more?
Osiris can manipulate the Light in ways we didn’t even know was possible, from using multiple Light elements at once to creating Reflections and Echoes, to creating a ward of Light in a way we haven’t seen Warlocks do. Not only that but Osiris had an entire planet under his control, a Vex machine that no one person should be able to control and he had it at the tips of his fingers.
He was scary close to godhood. And I don’t think he realizes it.
FAITH.
Another aspect of Osiris I’d like to touch upon is his relationship with faith.
Osiris has a very distinctly different view of these things in Destiny, and it’s something that’s now painted as a good thing. It’s good to question why you fight, good to question why you exist. Osiris questions everything and while there’s a few jabs made at him about it (mostly they come from how he was viewed before Curse of Osiris) it ultimately doesn’t state that Osiris’s questions are bad. In fact I’d go so far as to say they were vindicating.
BUT. This raises my thoughts on his faith, on how it’s served him. We know that Saint-14 has a lot of faith, both in people and in the Traveler, and it’s interesting to me to see the dichotomy of that vs. Osiris’s views.
There was an idle line he had in Season of Dawn, in where he said "I thought you had broken the Red Legion... I see faith has failed me yet again..."
What has faith gotten him? Abandonment. Exile. Losing Saint.
They have a silent god hanging above them in the city, and what has it done for them? The Traveler was not at Six Fronts, the Traveler was not at Twilight Gap, the Traveler did not stop the Vex, and the Traveler certainly didn't save Saint. Rotted faith, eroded to bitterness.
The light is a weapon because if it weren't then would it not act? Would it not save humanity? Why wouldn't it save him? Why would he suffer so much?
So he is mad at god.
The best quote I remember about his Relationship with the Traveler is him saying that the Traveler's death was a gift in that there are now Guardians, but also they only have the problems they have now is because the Traveler came there, bringing its enemies to their shores.
He questions the Light because while it’s their greatest weapon, it is also the source of humanity's grief
The Traveler holds their chains. (Freedom is a chain, choice is a prison.)
“I have questioned the Light before, and I continue to question it today. But skepticism is not the same as disavowal. The Light is one of our greatest resources.” — Transmission from Osiris

Y'know when there's a character that you liked but they weren't all that important and then when they're finally being used you just wished they got left alone?
Lakshmi-2
(and Lord Saladin but I still like the guy)
Well, a lot of people liked Lakshmi without really looking into her background. She is and always has been a leader of the Future War Cult. A political body that focuses on prophesising wars and, effectively, constantly in the state of fearmongering and warmongering.
I think a lot of people either didn't really know or forgot what the Future War Cult is. It's in the name.
"What does the future bring? We alone have the answer. It has always been war. War between humans. War between species. War between Light and Darkness. War is the fundamental fabric of the universe. Dare we defy it? Will you help us prepare?"— Allegiance recruitment speech
"War is the only way, Guardian. No walls will keep war out, no colony ships will outrun it, no debates or councils could ever ward it off. We must embrace it as our future, for it is the only way we will ever secure our present."— Alternate allegiance recruitment speech
Some hand-picked Lakshmi quotes (D1 and D2):
"What if there were a single timeline untouched by war, would you have any idea how to live in it?"
"What if there were a better timeline somewhere? What have you done to earn it?"
"Don't think I'll give up our secrets just because you stare at me."
"The Inner Circle has its secrets. Maybe in time."
"Know the only truth is war Guardian. You'll always be needed."
"Refugees, refugees, refugees. Of course we'll serve them, convert them, bring them into the mysteries, but only the worthy ones."
"We pay well for data."
"The Tower may fall, the City may fall. Future War Cult shall endure."
"The Consensus believes we can steal a march on our enemies by stealing their supplies. This is true, but it also lacks ambition."
"In a million other timelines, the city is destroyed by Vex, or Fallen, or Taken, or Hive. What's constant, is the struggle."
"Half the Inner Circle vanished during the Red War. We did not predict their deaths, so they must still be alive... somewhere."
"When I foresaw the Red War, they laughed... until Ghaul bound the Traveler. This time, I will not whisper my warnings. I will not be polite."
I still think she's a cool character, but she has always been this way. This is only the first time that she's actively and prominently in the centre of the plot. Just in case people aren't aware, Lakshmi and FWC were always political warmongerers.

which is why ironically i think saint would be a better “villain” than lakshmi bc he’s not a villain at all. it’s just a shame they needed someone with a vex connection to tie into the whole splicer/overload thing bc saint-14 being the “anti eliskni” figure would’ve made more sense with what we already know about him and his character. saint-14 isn’t graphically or unnecessarily violent, but he is fierce and willing to do anything to defend his home, as well as being naturally charismatic and a beloved guardian hero. i could easily believe him being able to accidentally whip the people of the last city into a frenzy. then instead of just deciding one week he doesn’t hate the eliksni anymore because kid sad, he could have a season long arc of realizing he’s wrong and humanity and the eliksni are both victims, and then trying to stop what has already gone out of his control to make amends. hell, this is where lakshmi could step in and start using the situation for her/fwc’s personal political gain, which keeps the vex connection and makes it so that she’s not such a flat villain. what they have isn’t necessarily bad and they’ve done such a good job of delivering the seasonal story actually in the game, but this is just how i think you could make the actual story arc even better.

THE INTRO
Tumblr media
Hello everyone! New studyblr here. I’ve been lurking in the shadows of the studyblr community for a very long time now. But it is not until recently that I finally mustered enough courage to join this amazing community. So without further ado, here is my introduction:
Basics:
I go by Audrey (she/her pronouns)
(Almost) 20 and Aries, but don’t really feel like either
INFP, though some people have told me that I could be quite cynical
I’m in my second year in university
I’m a Biochemistry major, wanting to live in a lab forever (ooh look it rhymes!)
I’m currently on an internship but still trying to learn some basic French in my free time
Interests:
Absolutely love reading: I have an undying love for poetry, no matter the type. Currently, I’m trying to finish  “New American Best Friend” by Olivia Gatwood.
Fancy (sounding) words: yup pretentious I know, but something about them is so addicting to me. I only speak 2 languages so far and always find myself drawn to words that are on the more grandiose side of both languages I’m so sorry please bear with me
Psychology, and the biology aspects of it: I’m currently trying to learn more about serotonin syndrome and the portrayal of psychiatric medications books/movies for young adults.
A cinephile (fancy word count no.1): I love movies/ series as well as video essays analyzing cinematography, scriptwriting, and characters. Recently, I’ve been binging Euphoria (pure perfection!) and Fruit Basket (this anime turns me into a crying mess every time).
A melophile as well (fwc no.2): I listen to almost anything and am always eager to discover new music. But no matter what, I will always have a soft spot for the pop-punk bands I grew up with. I also enjoy making playlists for different moods, learning about people through their music (here’s my Spotify if you’re up for sharing music), and watching analysis videos on the anatomy of songs
I think I just love analysis videos in general?
Creating artsy stuff (sketches, music, poems, etc): aka my coping mechanisms. I probably enjoy writing the most but somehow the majority of my works are sadly unfinished.
Coding: I’m self-taught so I ain’t that good. But personally, I find it really fun and would love to learn and challenge myself more with it.
Goals:
To motivate myself out of the procrastination quicksand
To keep track of my study and productivity progress
To have a place to review/ modify my study techniques and habits and better my efficiency
To be more involved in this lovely studyblr community and hopefully motivate others too
To make more friends, through studying as well as music
Here are some inspiring studyblrs that I’ve adored so far:

I'm reading The Sorcery Within, which is from 1985 and shows it -- it does a whole bunch of things that are fantasy staples, but it's very readable and I do want to see where's he's going with the world, with some neat phrasings ("Those who die in battle need no ceremony. God will take care of them.") and a female main character who's my type of gal ("[Elenya] was mostly hampered by rules. She was best in an all-out fight.") but (and you all knew there was a "but" coming, right?)
I love Fierce Warrior Cultures with lots of rules and codes and strictures of honor, especially ones that live in harsh conditions, more than I should. I know it's inherently a little racist, as a trope. But once -- just once -- give me a desert FWC that isn't just a mishmash of American stereotypes about Muslims. Elenya and her brother have just been adopted by a Fierce Warrior Tribe after killing two of its members, in part because they thought Elenya was a man; when they find out, the chief is aghast and says this has destroyed him because "Women don't have souls."
I'm going to keep reading, because I'm holding out hope that he's doing it on purpose and will do something with it, but yikes.

Fantasy World Creator product line by Gamestart Edizioni
The “World Creator” product line dedicated to Fantasy RPGs, is designed for all players who want a “physical” setting on which to play but without having to spend too much on miniatures or expensive plastic scenarios. The Fantasy World Creator core box contains more than 500 elements including game tiles, character and monster tokens, fast environments and status tokens. The two expansions, proposed in the first reprint in March, add accessories for players (such as interactive equipment cards) and a rewritable book dedicated to masters, the Black Book, containing maps and tools to keep track of every aspect of adventures and characters. Any element is dry-erase rewritable, ensuring total customization.
Fantasy World Creator
A webapp is included to manage all the material digitally. With it you can create maps and write adventures and then share them with other users or export them to PDF. At the moment the community has about 3000 members.
Dungeon & Town
It is the expansion of Fantasy World Creator that completes the line by implementing the third dimension in the system. It can be used together with the products already presented but also by those who only play with a battlemat: its use is universal, reflecting the philosophy of the “World Creator” products.
With FWC-D&T you can create your own game scenario, in three dimensions and in a simple way, build walls for strongholds, village houses and develop immense and complex dungeons. Complete your scenario with scenic elements, adding furniture, plants, torches and details of all kinds. All props have an interlocking system that does not require glue.
FWC – D&T is composed of a series of walls of different sizes, roofs and details to make dungeons and towns “alive”. One kit is enough to cover about 1 square meter of surface composed with FWC tiles. We have created a special and textured cross base that allows endless combinations of joints, making all the structure solid and quick to compose.
Many questions have been asked to us about the durability of the product, we can assure you that the combination of plastic lamination of the cardboard and the rounded corners of the base slits, reduce friction to a minimum during composition.
All parts of D&T maintain the style of FWC, so illustrations in “old style” and rewritability in all its parts: do you want to draw a secret passage on a wall? nothing easier.
In the first 48 hours, an “extra” package worth 15 euros will be presented as a gift, adding another 100 unpublished items, such as signboards, tombs, crypts, fences and much more.
During the campaign there will be many proposals with stretch goals and addons: the first will have a common theme “Castle” so different parts will be unlocked to be able to build an entire one that will cover an area of about 60cm2. These parts will be alternated with other additions in the expansion theme. One of the most important addons consists of 4 miniatures, the result of collaboration with the Italian artist Claudio Casini, which pay homage to Heroquest; they will be proposed together with a “pack” containing all the characters and monsters illustrated in the FWC cards, shaped and illustrated also on the back to give them a greater 3D effect.
The D&T kit will be offered at a price in line with the other FWC expansion (the Treasure Pack, presented in March 2019) but discounted if taken in combination with other products.
