In the wild jungles of Ranthambore, on our last safari in summers, 2015 I shot this picture.

It was in the morning and the sun was rising. Suddenly we heard the monkey and deer alarm call and in a distance we could see deers running. First we thought it was because of the crocodiles but through the alarm call we understood that it could only be a Tiger or a leopard. When we reached there, there was 1 Jeep standing and there was nothing but as we waited the beauty came out. The tiger was soon seen in a distance of 2 meters and the tiger crossed the road. It was aiming the deers. It camouflaged in the dryness of Ranthambore and then we saw few deers in a distance. Soon there was frame set for us where the deer and Tiger had their eyes locked. (Tiger and all carnivores has a huge advantage that they can sense which food is weak and easy for them to catch out of thousands and they select 1) . Then the tiger chased the deer and soon it had hunted one.

THIS TIGER IS NONE OTHER THEN ARROWHEAD (PRESENT QUEEN OF TIGERS) WHO IS THE GRAND DAUGHTER OF BEAUTIFUL MACHLI WHO PASSED AWAY AND WAS THE QUEEN. THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN WHEN SHE WAS LEARNING TO HUNT AND WAS A SUB-ADULT.

This is very rare that you see a Tiger and Deer together looking at each other.
