It's like when someone tries to "prove" they've changed by doing one little thing that they've been neglecting/falling through on, but then immediately backpedal into old habits because that attempt at change wasn't really genuine, it was performative. As minish cap Link was a child when he went on his journey and looked NOTHING like the OOT style adult hero we saw in the "Flashback/story" scene in FS. I'm like 99% sure it was referencing the hero from the FIRST Four Swords game because the four swords manga we HAVE is based on Four Swords Adventures from what I can tell?)

Either way, in FSR he's refencing THAT Link as the reason why he...split himself in pieces.

Either way Gannon's view on the endless cycle has seemingly shifted to a "Game". A game he wants to win, obviously.

If you want a reason why he'd try taking this outlook: Dude's coping hard, he keeps losing. Looking at it like a childish game makes him retain SOME sanity he's shed after getting his ass kicked so many times. As he clearly shed a LOT of his humanity to become the pig form in the OG manga without ANY PROMTING Usually that's like, a second phase of the fight Something's different about Ganon in FSA compared to usual.

Ganon muses he didn't think "A part of him" would play "Their" side.

He's obviously talking about Shadow Link at this point aiding Zelda and Link. But the dread of what Gannon's saying hasn't truly set in yet.

Panel 5:

So in Twilight Princess, Spoilers Gannon just like, straight kills himself when he feels he's losing. Man is a massive piss baby.

He does something similar here. "CAN'T KEEP ME IN A SWORD IF I END MYSELF HAHAHAHA" - Gannon.

But...There's still a part of Gannon around...As he passes the Triforce of power (Something he admits he cannot stand in Twilight Princess, if nothing else BECAUSE it ties him to Zelda and Link who have Wisdom and Courage respectively.)

So while not outright CONFORMING FSR Link and FSR Zelda HAVE the Triforce, it's heavily implied they do. Zelda at least, had it on her hand earlier in the comic. (With an outdated design of her haha but it still counts here. Haven't been any major ret cons as of rn in FSR and I'd mention any if they do come up hah)

Ganon not so subtly references the conversation Vio and Shadow had about the Triforce where Shadow admitted he wanted it to make his wishes come true.

Which just, with current context really puts into perspective that little desire of his.

Also, it's even FUNNIER that he says he wants to touch the Triforce...While being all over Vio. Who has a piece of the Triforce of courage.

Like from the wording he isn't exactly BASHING Link for ignoring him, just expressing how it made him feel in the moment.

And from here we can see Shadow understands just how poorly Link was doing.

Further idea:

Shadow doesn't purely means "Vio's here" as the "dream" he's talking about.

[03/24] Deepspace Trials Progression

A little late to post, but I've successfully clear all three directional orbit stage 70s, unlocking their personal title soles Xavier's [Sands of Time], Zayne's [Dream's Finale], and Rafayel's [Scarlet Thorns]! Additional rewards for clearing the directional orbit - stage 70 are the following: 40 diamonds + 1 Empyrean Wish + 4000 gold. This stage did not have an achievement locked behind it, so no achievement points were gained from successfully clearing these stages.

Sundays are the best days for deepspace trial progression because all three directional orbits are available. I generally try to keep a record of the stages I've done that gave me difficulty to clear in case others might find my experience insightful for their own attempts. I apologize if my explanations are a bit confusing! Most of my notes are me rambling, but my inbox is always available if there are any questions. was such a pain in the ass trying to kill those frenzy mobs fast enough in order to get the dmg buff. you'll have to do it do it 3 times throughout the fight, with each round getting progressively more challenging. 1st round had 2 mobs with 3HP bars no shields + 1 frenzy mob 3hp no shield. round 2 had 1 tanky af wanderer with 3HP bars + 2 shields; then another tanky af frenzied wanderer with 3HP no shield. last round had the final 'boss' with 4HP bars + 4 shields. the frenzy wanderer had 3HP no shield. was there a stellactrum? idr, but i dont think there was? anyway, my advice for this stage is to group up the wanderers as close together so you can use [Active Skill] on cool down to burst damage faster. use [Resonance Skill] to break down wanderers with shields, and once those shields are broken use [Active Skill] to deal a burst of damage to a weakened wanderer. the targeting system in his game isn't the best. to avoid hitting a different wanderer i usually try to face the frenzy wanderer, standing as close as possible to focus target it in order to center all damage around that specific one. if defeated within the time limit you should get a notification about receiving an active damage buff. MC also emits a red glow.

the game sets x0 and x5 stages as more challenging than the others. this was pretty easy imo. 4 wanderers spawn at once with 3HP bars + 2 shields each. group them up, break shields, and burst damage them down.

required 4 ruby and 1 pearl for protofield stellactrum bonus. i don't have [Neon Night] for the NT pair, but i do have his HC pair from the [Heartfelt] series. this stage was to stand near the sensor until it reached 100%!

stage 79

this also required 4 ruby and 1 pearl for protofield stellactrum bonus. was a kill all wanderers type of stage - 2 rounds. each had 2 wanderers with 3HP bars + 2 shields and 2 monsters with 3HP bars. it helped to group them all together in order to do AOE dmg. would recommend matching the stellactrum for the bonus bc it really helped here to break down their shields -- even if the memories are low leveled!

𝚁𝙰𝙵𝙰𝚈𝙴𝙻 (3/3) stage 70 to 73

Successfully cleared his directional orbit: fire stage 70! I do not have a clear vod for this fight, but I can provide screenshots of my team set up and their attributes.

Team 1 required 4 pearl + 1 ruby to match the protofield stellactrum. there were 5 mobs with 3 HP bars + 2 shields. using his [Resonance Skill] to group up the mobs really helped. blessed to have his myth cards.

Team 2 required 4 violet + 2 amber to match the protofield stellactrum. ngl i had so much trouble with this one. in my case it was more of a skill difference than a stat issue. what worked for me was to save my [Resonance Skill] to spam on cooldown and only use the [Active Skill] when the shields were completely broken for maximum dmg. also remembering to pick up his beacon when it drops [Passive Skill] with charged attacks and being able to move out of dmg areas/dodge in time to gain their [Support Skill] really helps.

Thirteen Era Rewatch: Kerblam!

I'm re-watching Thirteen's era in lead up to the Centenary and since this is likely going to be my last full re-watch for a while I thought I'd do a post on each ep where I just go over all the things I love, hate or just have some general thoughts on.

Find it interesting how far into the series we are an how little the fam Really know about the Doctor. They all know about her hearts. Graham knows about regeneration, Ryan saw the glowing in 11.01. Yaz has been there for two explicit mentions of the Doctor previously being a man. Funny how they just kinda give weird looks but never push the Doctor to elaborate on any of it. Though I’m pretty sure Yaz mentions something about the Doctor never giving more info in Spyfall. So it’s possible they have asked and the 13 has kinda brushed them off

I stand by that the systems didn’t put 13 in the same job as Charlie specifically bc it wanted her to be near the problem, that was always gonna be the job 13 was best suited to anyway. If they wanted us to think the system purposely put 13 in a job with Charlie then they shoulda had Charlie doing a job that 13 wouldn’t have been best suited for. Made a post about it a while ago

Ppl crying about the conspiracy lines is dumb to me ngl. The contexts are different. In 11.04 she says she likes conspiracies after hearing about a conspiracy which at that point didn’t involve ppl being in danger, it was just some crap Yaz’s dad was collecting. And then in 1.07 she says she doesn’t like them after she hears about ppl going missing. Therefore, she likes harmless, fun conspiracies and doesn’t like conspiracies that involve ppl being in danger. It’s not that hard to grasp.

Fat "representation" in LO and why it's a bunch of hokey

I see it come up often, the notion that Persephone is "fat representation." She's "thicc", she's "chubby", etc. and celebrated for it. But ngl, seeing these comments is really disheartening because it really just goes to show a deeper rooted issue in fat representation:

Is it fat representation? Or is it just perpetuating the idea that there are 'good' kinds of fat people and 'bad' kinds of fat people?

My point being, if Persephone is supposed to be 'fat representation', then she really only represents the mainstream accepted idea of fat representation that many people celebrate simply due to being conventionally attractive. Basically, it's casual fatphobia.

To get my point across, this is what fat representation looks like to RS and her fanbase:

And no, this isn't just a S2/S3 thing, even as far back as the first 10 episodes of S1:

In those last two panels, I'm not gonna sit here and say Persephone doesn't look gorgeous. I love the framing of her anatomy and hair against the darkness of the Underworld here especially. She's this glowing pink thing in a dark, cold world.

But in ALL of these examples, this is not 'fat' Persephone. This is curvy Persephone. This is 'fat' defined by Instagram models and people who think that 'fat' is being anything but skin and bones. This is 'fat' defined by an audience that still values conventional attractiveness above all else - otherwise, Persephone wouldn't be hailed as 'fat representation' just for having big boobs and a wide ass.

She's not 'fat'. She's well-endowed. She's got birthing hips and round, often very artificial-looking breasts. She's as close to 'fat' as one can get before going so far that mainstream audiences would get uncomfortable with the idea of her being overweight and still beautiful.

That's not even getting into the issues of LO's art inconsistency problems. Crazily enough, there ARE times when Persephone's shown as being chubby, but those times are so few and far between with her body type changing on a dime that it really can't be called 'representation'. It's more like sneaking in lip service panels to try and remind the audience "hey look! My main character is chubby! Chubby is beautiful! We're so self-aware and progressive!" for about 5 seconds before going back to Persephone having abs and a pinched waist.

I'm not mad that Persephone isn't a chubby or fat woman - I'm mad that the story, its creator and its impressionable audience keeps pretending she is and further watering down what it means to have real fat representation.

But maybe I'm talking out of my ass! Maybe I'm reading too deep into it. Agree or disagree? Agree to disagree? LMK!

So in itbt? if snow is somethin very common, the roads have either runes or are enchanted to be warm and melt it away so that cars can drive safely. There are machines that are also enchanted or have runes somewhere to be able to pick up the snow easily (cause snow can turn into a block of ice if it's still cold for a long time).

Overall either they like it or dislike it but it's easy to see that they've invented stuff to make it less of a chore and easier to like haha. There are enchanted gloves with magic thread that create the perfect snowball every time or magical kits to decorate snowmen that make different things (make them move or talk or glow or last longer). There are things to make your sleigh faster and words to create the perfect snow angel.

Do you like the snow? And is it snowing a lot? I personally don't hate it BUT two years ago there was this big ass snowfall where i live to the point that we were incommunicated for several days and it was a bit of a pain in the ass ngl
