Themes - Creativity, Fertility, Beauty, Growth, Sensuality, Nourishment, and Abundance
Planetary Ruler: Moon
Personality: Rohini natives are very compassionate, sweet, and playful possessing a child-like personality. (Marilyn Monroe Rohini Sun) They're protective people who love and care about the ones that hold dearly in their lives. Rohini's attracts massive attention, big crowds, roaming eyes, and this leads to jealousy from peers, outsiders, or family members. Another thing about them is that they are very multi talented they can be good at numerous things like singing, dancing, writing, etc. (Jimin Rohini Moon) These people are the it-factor and that's on period, children love them to be around them, and are destined to be excellent parents in the future. This is not said a lot in vedic astro observations, but they can be amazing leaders as leadership roles naturally gravitate towards them including musical groups. (Bang Chan Rohini Ascendant) Also they have a way with words and are good with comebacks these natives are so damn creative and provoking too they enjoy getting a rise out of people especially to those they hate. One thing you don't want to do is piss them off you'll regret it cause once they go off it'll be a scary sight to see, so if you know what's best for you leave these cinnamon rolls. I did my own research and it's said they attract obsessive people, possessive partners, lustful individuals, cheaters, married ones, and even stalkers. They have a very long lasting impression on people. Rohini's are powerfully magnetic attracting people, opportunities, jealousy, awards, attention, clothing, wealth, animals, children, and almost everything. Dr. Pai mentioned how Rohini people love the color pink, along with flowers, and red too as they represent The Red One. The yoni animal of this nakshatra is the Serpent, When you look into their eyes you're immediately put into a trance. Natives of the Serpent Yoni can be hypnotic, magnetic, and snake-like. Once they inflict venom you're hooked for life. Snakes are gifted swimmers. They just have this natural ability to move the body in water. The most dominating feature of a snake is his ability to get the attention of anyone and everyone, there is fear, anxiety, and fascination associated with the serpent. These individuals fascinates people by their ability and attract attention with their eyes. Spiritual constellations represent our inner journey, and they are the most important of the three categories. Psychological constellations represent our emotional existence. We will examine each category in more detail later.

Since it's Krishna's birthday I couldn't help but write his birth story. So here y'all go, you're welcome. Oh also fun fact about Janmashtami : it always rains tonight. It might be just a drizzle, but it always rains tonight.
Devaki’s screams rent the air as she pushed and kept pushing. This was the eighth time she was giving birth to someone. The prison guards could hardly be bothered, and instead laughed at her like hyenas, their mere gazes leaving marks on her skin. Vasudev covered the prison bars with a flimsy cloth, and went back to assist his wife.
She was crying when Vasudev returned back. He bent down by her side, supporting her, and was about to go in front to assist with the delivery when Devaki squeezed his hand and stopped him. Panting, she said, “I don’t know if I want this child Vasudev.” Vasudev was stunned upon Devaki’s proclamation. She had given birth seven times, all sons, and six times had watched them being murdered by her own brother, the brother who had loved her more than any brother could love a sister. The seventh time, Vasudev had quietly given the baby to his first wife Rohini and instructed her to head to Gokul, where his friend Nanda lived. They had simply lied to Kansa and cited that Devaki had miscarried.
How cruel fate was. The couple had watched six of their children murdered in front of them in cold blood, not even a day old. The seventh, they did not know of his fate. Of his first words or his favourite food or the way he laughed. And yet, this eighth child carried hope. This child would be their salvation. Devaki continued “I cannot bear to watch another child snatched away like that Vasudev. Please I’d rather this child die on my womb, or I die while giving birth so at least I don’t have to watch him die. Please Vasudev, I cannot do this anymore” cried Devaki, tears raining down her once lustrous bronze skin, her once luxurious locks lying limp and lifeless by her side like her soul. “No Devaki. I cannot imagine the pain you endure, each time you push another life from inside you, but know this – this child is our salvation. This child is the reason six of our children were murdered. This child is the reason we sent our seventh son into hiding. This child is the reason we have wasted away in this prison for years. Devaki this child must live. Our child must live to avenge the deaths of our children. To avenge us. This child must live if the universe carries even a shred of mercy for us. For Devaki I would sooner kill both of us than watch another child tortured by your brother.” Vasudev’s eyes burned with an intensity Devaki hadn’t seen in a long time. Most of the time they were sad or scared, reminiscing their past. Their married bliss had ended the day it began, with her brother imprisoning them over a prophecy. Vasudev’s words breathed new life into Devaki. She would not let this child die. She would live. She would make sure the child lived. And she would make sure she heard her brother whimpering in agony as her child crushed his skull open.
The gods had given a prophecy. Devaki and Vasudev’s eighth child would be the death of Kansa. And Devaki did not want to prove the gods as petty liars.
With a final push and a scream, that was thankfully masked by a loud thunderclap, Devaki expelled her child out. Vasudev cut the umbilical cord with a flint stone he had dipped in cheap somaras which he had stolen from the guards yesterday, and cradled the child in his arms, lying beside Devaki, giving this child his parents’ touch one final time, the shared breath and heat warming him. He was dark, dark as the rainclouds that had gathered over the entirety of Brijbhumi that day, as the moonlit night that held secrets and wonder. A small glow emanated from his body, barely lighting his immediate surroundings. The couple kept looking at their son, prerplexed, and the baby looked back at them. He had big soft eyes, and instead of crying, he just looked up at them and gave a small laugh, reaching to grab his mother’s hair. Devaki’s tears fell on his face, as she kissed his forehead and hugged him tight. She then looked at Vasudev, and they understood what had to be done. Vasudev took the baby, and opened his prison door. Turns out if you get drunk with the guards ever so often, they don’t notice things like missing keys.
Vasudev stepped out, and half thought that he and his son were going to be hacked into pieces, but the entire cellar was quiet. The whole world seemed to hold its breath, time itself felt suspended. Only minutes ago the guards were cackling, and yet they now slept a deep slumber. Vasudev quickly stole a dagger, and placed the baby in the laundromat’s basket, covering him with a heavy warm cloth. He exited the prison quarters and entered into Indra’s wrath. The clouds overhead boomed with thunder, and rain covered everything as far as the eye could see. Unperturbed, Vasudev kept walking eastwards, until he reached the Yamuna. He looked for a boat, searching the banks of the usually idyllic river, which now coursed with the strength and vigour of the mighty Saraswati, and yet found no boat to carry him and his son. Time was running out, and his son’s life outweighed a safe passage for him, he could already imagine Kansa’s men running towards him. Vasudev then did the only thing he could – let the river decide his life. He walked into the river, determined to reach the other side. The yojana wide river divided Mathura and its outskirts from the countryside – where his son was to find sanctuary. Vasudev kept walking, and the Yamuna’s waters kept rising and rising. The heavy rain pelted Vasudev, and he kept his swaddled baby on his head in his basket. The spaces between the bamboo basket refused water from filling in. Somehow, he reached the middle, when he felt the water threatening to reach his chin, the river hell bent on drowning him and his son. No mere river was going to stop the descendant of the mighty Shuri, the prince of the Vrishnis today though. Vasudev held his breath and kept swimming forward, the basket safely above the surface of water. Surprisingly, there were no crocodiles in the river. Vasudev had only swam a bit further when the river level started lowering and lowering, until it reached his waist. Vasudev was perplexed, the river was usually the deepest at this point, then why did it suddenly lower down to below his waist? Lost in his thoughts, Vasudev almost missed the giant creature slithering towards him, and that is when he realized he and his infant son were about to be devoured by a sea monster that liked toying with its prey. The creature reached Vasudev, its smooth obsidian scales emitting a green glow, extending to its full length, spreading out its thousand hoods and shielding Vasudev and his son from the merciless rain. Had he not known better, Vasudev would’ve thought it was Adi Shesha, the thousand hooded snake, upon whose infinite coils Narayana rested. Time was running out, and Vasudev picked up speed, the serpentine creature slithering along. Climbing out of the river, he kept picking through the wilderness and hamlets, the creature’s presence scaring off any hungry predators.
At last, Vasudev glimpsed the village of Gokul. Overjoyed, Vasudev rushed down the hillock, which was dotted here and there by the occasional cow. He entered the safety of the village, his frayed nerves calming down, and started searching for Nanda’s home. Even though he was the village chief, his house was tough to spot, the only thing differentiating it from others was a larger gateway and a bigger courtyard. Surprisingly, Nanda was already standing at the gates, waiting for him. Vasudev rushed up to him, and began to speak when Nanda asked, “Vasudev, how did you come here? How are you barely wet?” Vasudev looked behind him, and found the creature had returned. Maybe it was scared of society? “There’s no time for that Nanda. I have come to entrust my last son to you,” said Vasudev, as he hastened to enter Nanda’s home. There was a lantern in front of each room, and the large house was empty except for the cows in the outside stables. Vasudev kept searching along the corridor, until he found Nanda’s wife’s room. He expected to see his elder son sleeping with her, but instead found her snoring loudly, with a baby lying beside her. Vasudev quietly placed his son beside her. The baby started crying, clutching onto his father even as he laid him on the bed. Vasudev quietly removed his hand from his grip, and sang him a lullaby. It was about a bee returning to its hive after a busy day in the meadow. He had never got a chance to sing this lullaby before. Devaki and he and spent each day perfecting it in prison. The baby quietened and went to sleep, and Vasudev left, his vision blurry, when he was stopped by Nanda. “Wait here.” he said. Nanda then returned from his wife’s room, his baby with him, and handed it over to Vasudev. “Here you go Vasudev. You may take my daughter home with you.” Vasudev looked at Nanda with disgust. Was his friend so lowly that in favour of a son he would condemn his daughter to the confines of a prison, frequented by a monster that would kill her the moment he got to know? “I know what you were thinking, and I would never do that Vasu” said Nanda, sensing his friend’s thoughts. “Yashoda gave birth to her yesterday, and hasn’t seen her since. I took her to Goddess Gauri’s temple the same day, to seek her blessings. I can’t explain what happened Vasu, but I heard Gauri. She spoke to me and she instructed me to give her to you when you came. Why do you think I was waiting for you outside?” “Oh come on Nanda, you’re just making up stories now.” said Vasudev, even more repulsed now. “Why would I lie Vasu? Is this what you think of me, a murderer? Trust me Vasu, Gauri Devi spoke to me, she told me to give my daughter to you! Who are we to defy the will of the gods?” Nanda reassured him.
“The gods don’t care about us Nanda. They stopped existing for me when they made me watch my sons’ heads being bashed against walls or crushed by hammers. But even so I will take your daughter. Maybe Kansa might spare a girl?”
Saying so, Vasudev took Nanda’s daughter and vanished into the night, heading back to his prison. Even though the babe wasn’t his, he had already named her – Maya – after this night, an illusion, a reality that felt like a dream. He did not know what fate awaited this girl, but at least his boy was safe for now.
Maybe the gods did have a plan. A plan that was tucked away under Yashoda’s arms in the tiny hamlet of Gokul, snuggling against the only mother he would ever know.

Leader - The Man or Yes Man !!
Leaders Ignite the minds of Others. Leaders care, share and maintain transparency. Should the leader always be The Man and make his subordinates the Yes Man ?
Tumblr media
Do we all agree Dr. APJ Abdul Kalaam to be a great leader ?
Am not going to talk about APJ whom we all consider to be one of the finest leader. Instead am going to speak about his Project Director of SLV mission, Prof.Satish Dhawan. He was the Chairman of ISRO. That was the first time India was building its own rocket launch vehicle in Sri Harikota,India.
The Countdown started and Dr.Abdul kalam along with six other experts was monitoring the launch anxiously. When it was four minutes before the satellite launch, the computer began to go through the checklist of items. One minute later, the computer program put the launch on hold; the display showed that some control components were not in order. Everyone was stunned not knowing whether to proceed or not. The whole country was waiting for the good news.
The experts advised Dr.Abdul Kalam to go ahead with the launch and they were confident about their calculations. The decision was Dr.Kalam's to take and he decided to bypass the computer, switched to manual mode, and launched the rocket. In the first stage, everything worked fine. In the second stage, a problem developed. Instead of the satellite going into orbit, the whole rocket system plunged into the Bay of Bengal. It was a big failure.
The whole world media was waiting for the press meet curious to know what had happened. Dr.Kalam was very frightened to face the media and answer their criticism of wasting millions of people's money.
Prof.Satish Dhawan, the chairman of ISRO took Dr.Kalam to the press meet and made him sit aside and he took the blame for the team's failure and said  "We failed! But I have a very good trust in my team that next time we will be succeeding for sure" and made everyone to believe in the team.
The next year, 18 July 1980, the same team led by Dr.Kalam successfully launched Rohini RS-1 into the orbit! The whole country was proud and cheering for the success of the launch.
Prof.Satish Dhawan congratulated Dr.Kalam and the team and asked Dr.Kalam to conduct the press conference that day!
The rest is History as we know it. Dr.Kalam led many more successful launches and became the 'Missile man' of India. This would not have happened without what Prof.Satish Dhawan did on the day of Failure!
Well, this sums up what Leadership is all about! Leadership is not just about 'leading' someone to achieve a task but it is about 'empowering' someone to achieve far more Greater deeds.
Leadership styles boils down to two different styles: task-oriented and people-oriented leadership. The former is more focused on getting things done; the latter is more concerned with how people feel while they’re getting it done.
To sum it up, leadership is no walk in the park. There is no best leadership style. It is not The Man always acting like a boss or the Yes Man being at the beck and call of your superior.
The best leadership style occurs, when the leader's style matches the situation. !!

Excerpt: Regrets, None by Dolly Thakore
Excerpt: Regrets, None by Dolly Thakore
Tumblr media
In July 1979, Rani Dube passed through Bombay. She’d brought Richard Attenborough with her. Richard’s long-cherished dream project, Gandhi, was close to realization. Rani was the co-producer, and she had brokered a meeting between Richard and Indira Gandhi. Mrs Gandhi had given the project her blessing and introduced the two of them to the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC)…

On the 25th of July, Rani brought Richard over to my apartment at around 3 in the afternoon. I was breastfeeding Quasar. We chatted for a while. The walls of our home, as ever, were covered with photographs from plays Alyque had directed. Talk turned to the theatre, to the BBC, to children and life. At half five, I rang Alyque to say, “Ahem, Richard Attenborough is here, and would you come home and we can all have dinner, because, you know, Richard Attenborough?”
I remember we went to Copper Chimney and had Kakori kebabs. But the moment Alyque walked in through the door, Richard turned to me and said, “That’s my Jinnah.”
Two days later, he rang me up.
“Dolly, it’s Richard,” he began. “We’re starting work on Gandhi, as you know. And I was wondering if you’d like to be the casting director?”
It was on the strength of the photographs and the long chat we had that day, about my years in the theatre and my work as a model coordinator and as a host. But mostly, I suspect, it was just a hunch.
I jumped at it. Although no one I knew really knew what ‘casting’ entailed. So, it was just like every other job I ever had.
By November of 1979, Quasar and I moved to the Ashoka Hotel in Delhi. We lived there for the next six months. I was casting director for Gandhi, but I was also the unit publicist and PR liaison.
Richard had already decided on his Gandhi: Ben Kingsley. He was going to cast all the white parts from Britain (and in the case of Martin Sheen and Candice Bergen, the US). I had to find all the Indian actors.
I also worked as a theatre critic at the time, and I watched almost every play on the boards, across the city. I spotted Rohini Hattangadi and called Richard in Delhi.
“There’s a young actress I want you to see,” I said.
“Kasturba?” he asked.
“Kasturba,” I agreed.
Richard was leaving Delhi for London that night. But he would stop in Bombay if he could meet this actress. Would I be able to take a room at the Airport Centaur? He’d nip out, see her and then go back across the street for his flight to London. International flights operated from the same terminal.
Rohini had a show that night. It was past 11.30 before she made it to the Centaur. Richard and I were sitting on the couch, and the moment Rohini walked in through the door, he clutched my thigh.
“This is it, Doll!” he whispered.
Richard had seen something intangible – a quality, an essence. He had a hunch about Rohini. She’d fit into his vision and further it. He could see her on screen. That was what casting was about. That was what one half of filmmaking was.
…”If she can lose about eleven kilos, that’s my Kasturba.”
This, then, was the other half of filmmaking: the journey from casting to the shoot. I rang Rohini the next day. Together, we went to see a Dr Vishnu Khakkar at Kemp’s Corner. He was a dietician…He examined Rohini, heard the brief and then told her that she could eat two chapattis and a bowl of dal for lunch and dinner, and nothing in between. And she had to walk for an hour and a half every day.
Rohini lived in Wadala at the time. Right or wrong, I was convinced that she might follow the dal-roti diet but, left to her own devices, there was no way she was going to take a walk every day. So she’d come to mine, we’d go to Vishnu’s office and lock ourselves into the second room. I’d sit in the chair and she’d walk around the table for an hour and a half. We did this every day for three weeks. She lost five kilos, and I called Richard with a progress report.
“Send her,” he said.
The delegation to London comprised Rohini, Smita Patil, Bhakti Barve and Naseeruddin Shah.
Smita Patil was very much the trendy pick. She was quite a big star by then. She was critically acclaimed and shared, in particular, a wonderful creative relationship with Shyam Benegal. But she wasn’t right for the role. She was too sultry, too aware, had too much spark for that version of that story. It would’ve been bad casting.
My pick – so much water under the bridge now – was actually Bhakti Barve. She was a fine actress. And I felt that she looked like Kasturba. That was enough to seal the deal in my mind.
Naseer’s trip was a political move. He’d made it clear that he was only interested in playing Gandhi. And Richard was set on Ben. But Naseer was a star, a name in the Bombay film industry, and Richard wanted to pitch a host of other parts to him – Nehru, in particular. Which shows how well he knew Naseer. Because that was never going to happen.
Money wasn’t a problem. We put this group of actors on a flight to London to shoot some tests. In fact Gandhi, as my first film, was a bit of a ruinous experience. The producers allowed – “empowered”, I think, is the right word – me to take decisions and paid for them without asking any questions. In other words, they trusted me to do the job they’d hired me to do. They delegated and left it at that; if I screwed up, that was completely my responsibility. No other job has come close.
Richard said ‘no’ to Naseer playing Gandhi. Naseer, in turn, said ‘no’ to Nehru. He wasn’t part of the film which – to this day – feels odd, given that I cast 498 Indian actors. A lot of people remember him being in the film! They’ve ghosted him in, because it feels logical that he would’ve been there. Naseer would have to wait about two decades to play Gandhi in Feroze Khan’s stage production.
Richard called from London to say that Rohini was his Kasturba. He loved her simplicity and naivety – things that are difficult to fake on screen.
The next step was to better her English. I got Kusum Haider to be her teacher in Delhi. I suppose that would be her ‘dialect coach’ in this day and age. Rohini was a model pupil. She maintained her diet and her exercise routine, and she was serious about her English lessons and the spinning class she took with Ben.
Wait. What I mean is that both Rohini and Ben learnt how to weave cotton. They weren’t on exercise bikes, peddling madly.
One of the major criticisms at the time was that Ben Kingsley was too ‘muscular’ to play Gandhi. Ben did all he could to remedy that. He was on a strict diet, and he did a lot of yoga. When he arrived in India, we removed all the furniture from his hotel room so he had to sit and sleep on the floor. The walls were covered with pictures of the Mahatma.
The backlash to the casting decision was inevitable. We were always going to have to confront the question: How could a foreigner play Gandhi? Bizarrely, the makers of ‘parallel cinema’ were the only ones who raised the issue. They showed up on the first day of shoot, waving black flags. I spotted my friend Shama Zaidi amongst the picketers. On our side of the fence was Govind Nihalani, one of the leading lights of the parallel movement but also our second unit cameraman. The protests were orderly. No one ran around breaking things; there were a number of write-ups and opinion pieces. Richard was polite, but firm – Ben Kingsley was his Gandhi. All said and done, Ben was of Indian stock. His grandfather had migrated from India. I mean, we were really straining the boundaries of credibility with his Indian ancestry, and everyone knew it. But we had Mrs Gandhi’s backing. Doors opened for us, trains ran on time and locations were a cinch. Gandhiji’s contemporaries, Ramkrishna Bajaj and Bharat Ram, were closely involved. The NFDC had given us nine crores.
The protests made it to the newspapers and were duly praised; the film rumbled on.
At the pre-shoot party for the Indo-British unit, Roy Button turned to Kamal Swaroop, both third ADs, and asked for a glass of water. Kamal replied, “The Raj went a long time ago.” That was about it for on-set strife.
Would we get to make it the same way again? Today? With a British director and a British lead? I don’t know. That’s dinnertime conversation. Would they get to make Apocalypse Now the same way?
We rolled on the 26th of November 1979. And it really was an army on the move. It had taken Richard decades to get to that moment, and you could see how much it meant to him, because every single minute on that production had been accounted for. People knew exactly what they were supposed to be doing.
Amal and Nissar Allana worked as set decorators. Their universe ranged from trains to cars to jewellery, costumes, shoes. Every detail had a separate team, and all roads led back to Richard – casting meetings, production meetings, lighting meetings, script meetings. And somewhere within that maelstrom, Richard found time to concentrate on the performances, to create a work of great integrity and beauty that has stood the test of time.
We shot in Porbandar, Bombay, Pune. Never Ahmedabad. The scenes set in South Africa were shot in Okhla. The shot of Gandhi silently giving a poor woman his safa by letting it drift across to her in the river was shot in Udaipur.
…In a strange way, I became the doorkeeper for the production. The outside world had to get through me before they got to the film, for anything. The requests ranged from the routine to the ridiculous. Everyone wanted a slice of the pie: producers, hangers-on, friends, politicians. People wanted to visit the set. People wanted to meet the actors. People wanted a say on the screenplay.
We were lucky that Richard had been dealing directly with Mrs Gandhi. That meant we could be firm. Sometimes, we just had to buy peace. Ben occasionally wanted a beer at the end of a day’s work, and we had to ensure he wasn’t seen by the press. We’d already had one headline: ‘Ben Kingsley, Gandhi, drinking beer.’ He was also an attractive man in the middle of a career-defining performance, so we had to shield him from the ladies. If he did stop to speak to someone, the press couldn’t get wind of it. For a while, I was his minder in the modern sense – the advance party, the bodyguard, the person pulling strings, just out of shot.
It was an exhilarating time, but it was bloody hard work. Luckily, Richard and I had found our wavelength early with Kasturba, and I had a strong sense of what he was looking for.
My old friend Roshan Seth played Nehru. We’d tested Victor Banerjee as well but Roshan had the sophistication of Nehru and won hands down.

Richard cast Saeed Jaffrey as Sardar Patel. I didn’t agree with that call. I still don’t. He just wasn’t right for the role. Harsh Nayyar played Godse. He was another Indian actor from the West (America or England, I forget) who wrote to Richard and won the part.
I had a hand in everything else. From Supriya Pathak to Neena Gupta, and Om Puri (God rest his soul, that brilliant, brilliant man) to Shekhar Chatterjee, who played Suhrawardy and whom I’d spotted in Calcutta. I mostly cast actors from the theatre. I mentioned Bhanu Athaiya to Richard, and she went on to win the Academy Award for costume design. She was a very well-established designer before Gandhi. What I loved, though, was her mumbled complaint at one point, “All I’m making is kurta pyjamas.” But then, that’s all the Congress leaders wore at that time, with the sole exception of Jinnah, who had some rather excellent suits. Alyque was hopeful that he’d get to keep his clothes from the shoot and was most disappointed when they were on the next flight to England.
Of course, when Bhanu won the Oscar, it was all “… yes, Jodhpuri pyjamas but, you know, I had to cut them in a very specific way.” Ah, show-business.
…The Indian premier was at Regal. I can confirm that Indira Gandhi did not, in fact, attend. At the time, I thought it the most exhilarating moment of my life, the crowning glory. With the passage of years, I’ve gained a little perspective. But that film taught me so much and gave me a set of memories I’ll never forget, some of them the proudest of my career. …And that funeral scene – one of the greatest ever filmed.
It went to the Oscars and won so many awards. But, by then, it was a British film, Richard’s film, and seemed very far away indeed.
Richard and I remained friends until his death in 2014. Ben Kingsley visited India again in 1990, and I had everyone over for a meal at my house. It was lovely. He’s now a Knight of the Realm. And I hear he prefers to be called ‘Sir Ben’.
I’m glad I was there; I’m glad I was part of it.

A Basic Guide To Prepare For A Healthy Pregnancy
Tumblr media
The millennial moms or mom-to-be are super conscious and well-informed about their choices and health!&;
Yet, "trying to conceive" or "being pregnant" builds anxiety and raises millions of questions in the mind of every woman. If you are trying to conceive and wish to bring a healthy baby into this world, we would love to share a few things that can help to thrive through this blissful phase.

You can get pregnant on the first try, or it might take some time, but would you want to take a chance when it comes to your baby's health? To be on the safer side, if your are normally active, introducing healthy beginnings into your routine should start atleast six months before you plan to conceive.
1.READJUST THE MEDICINE CABINET
Tumblr media
Getting yourself into the right mind frame for starting a family is the first step towards preparing for this ecstatic phase. The next step, to begin with, is ditching your oral contraceptives, as it is deemed to take 2-3 menstrual cycles to get back to ready-to-conceive uterus health. Alongside, you need to commence decluttering your medicine cabinet after consulting with your healthcare provider for any changes to be made in your current medication. It is prudent to not take any medication on your own during the trying-to-conceive period to avoid any side effects hampering your fertility.
As per the healthcare experts, "During the trying-to-conceive period, any form of unprescribed allopathy, homoeopathy or Ayurvedic medication is risky because you might not know that you are already pregnant until it's already past 5-6 weeks. To avoid any pernicious complications, refraining from unprescribed medication is better than jeopardizing the mother's and the baby's health."
2.HEALTHY START
Tumblr media
Considering the stressful and exhausting lifestyle in today's world, there are slight chances of keeping up with apt nutrition requirements and a health-managing routine. But once you are ready to extend your family, your good health will be the most valuable asset. Not just through the pregnancy, but after delivery taking care of the little one will need all the physical strength and grit. Appropriate iron levels, active/sedentary lifestyle, work and family stress, immunization, BMI range, thyroid levels, diabetes and many factors contribute towards fertility and conceiving. These factors may not compulsorily affect the fetus’s fertility or health, but prominently contribute towards keeping your health in check and making you ready with the strength required for the miracle of birth and the postpartum period.
Identifying these markers before pregnancy can balance any deficiencies or issues on time rather than administering any treatments during pregnancy.
The baby will exert pressure on your overall body frame, and you need to be in the best possible health to manage the changes your body will go through. Exercise regularly, in a way that suits your body and schedule, cut down the sedentary lifestyle. Discuss the intensity of workouts with your healthcare provider and improvise.
3.CURBING THE VICES
Tumblr media
Unhealthy habits are the first thing to give up. Even if you are a rare smoker or drink occasionally, it is a big no-no. It is a perfect opportunity to toss away those vices by the expectant mother and the people around her. It is advised to stop smoking and drinking for atleast a year to six months before trying for your body to heal from the damage that it has already caused.
It will prevent from passing on the effects and the passive harm onto the baby as the counter-effects are directly related to deficiencies, abnormalities and birth complications. There are no studies to confirm what amount of alcohol or smoking is safe, therefore, avoiding it altogether is the best bet. As already discussedd
4.PRENATAL/PRE-CONCEIVING SUPPLEMENTS
Tumblr media
The generic idea is to get an assessment done from your gynaecologist before conceiving so that you may know the exact course of action. The gynaecologist might suggest few tests to check some basic parameters and suggest the medication. The Folic Acid and multivitamin supplements are the first to be initiated in all cases. As folic acid levels for pregnancy are difficult to attain through a usual diet, it is supplemented by over the counter (OTC) meds. Appropriate folic acid levels help to provide maximum protection against neural tube defects.
Rohini is a working mother of a four YO boy and an active PinkNBlu member parent who shared her experience with us. "We were planning to try to conceive from May 2018. When I got sick in January 2018, my doctor suggested some tests and found my haemoglobin level was low, and prescribed a three-month medication for iron, which had a folic acid component also. By May, my iron levels were up, and I got pregnant in June. My gynaecologist told us that getting the right iron and folic supplements was a wise choice before conceiving and ensured that my pregnancy is healthy. I was lucky to know my deficiency beforehand, I suggest all preparing-to-be-mothers should get a checkup done and leave nothing to chance".
5.KNOW WHAT YOU EAT
Tumblr media
Like any machine, your body is fueled by food. Fooding habits play an active role while conceiving, during pregnancy and post-delivery recovery. Following a healthy diet involves cutting down on excess junk food, caffeinated beverages, deep-fried food, and alongside including healthy options to your food strata like good fats, more fibre and proteins, carbohydrates, for energizing your body and promote healthy weight development of the baby. Avoiding ready-to-eat or packaged food is also advised as they contain added flavours ,preservatives without any salubrious nutrients. As the nutrition source of a developing baby inside the womb is directly proportional to the mother's, the micro and macro nutrients must be well balanced in the mother's body. Decreasing your sugar intake with lesser soda drinks and fruit juices is beneficial for your dental and gut health. A trying-to-conceive healthy diet plan will prepare you for pregnancy food abstinence and increase natural chances of conception and thriving pregnancy.
Miraculously every human body is a different masterpiece. Every human body works and reacts differently, and with the inherent motherly instincts, you would know what suits you and when you are ready to accept the responsibility of motherhood. Your mental health, family structure and financial position is equally significant towards this life-changing decision.
We have compiled the the above points to help you to reach optimum health before you start trying to conceive. You can adopt the self-checks to your lifestyle asap, for other technical and healthcare-related points, a clarification from your doctor or gynaecologist will clear your doubts and boost your confidence on the way to motherhood.

COVID-19 pandemic fuels attacks on health workers globally (AP) Two Nigerian nurses were attacked by the family of a deceased COVID-19 patient. One nurse had her hair ripped out and suffered a fracture. The second was beaten into a coma. Following the assaults, nurses at Federal Medical Centre in the Southwestern city of Owo stopped treating patients, demanding the hospital improve security. Almost two weeks passed before they returned to work with armed guards posted around the clock. The attack in Nigeria early last month was just one of many on health workers globally during the COVID-19 pandemic. A new report by the Geneva-based Insecurity Insight and the University of California, Berkeley’s Human Rights Center identified more than 1,100 threats or acts of violence against health care workers and facilities last year. Researchers found that about 400 of those attacks were related to COVID-19, many motivated by fear or frustration, underscoring the dangers surrounding health care workers at a time when they are needed most. “Our jobs in the emergency department and in hospitals have gotten exponentially more stressful and harder, and that’s at baseline even when people are super supportive,” said Rohini Haar, an emergency physician in Oakland, California, and Human Rights Center research fellow. “To do that work and to do it with commitment while being attacked or with the fear of being attacked is heartbreaking to me.”
Millions couldn’t afford diapers before the pandemic. Now, diaper banks can’t keep up. (Washington Post) Chelesa Presley is deeply familiar with the struggles of young families, first from her years as a social worker and now from running a nonprofit in one of Mississippi’s poorest regions. She’s used to the questions about car seats, nursing and colicky babies, but paying for diapers is always the chronic and most-pressing worry. “I see parents not putting anything on their babies because they don’t have diapers,” she said. “I’ve seen people use shopping bags with some rags in it. I’ve seen T-shirts. I’ve seen people keeping the diapers on longer than necessary, and the diapers sag down when the babies walk.” As founder and executive director of Diaper Bank of the Delta, Presley is part of a grass-roots support network at the forefront of a crisis: Requests have doubled, tripled and even quadrupled at some locations, social services workers say, with diaper shortages and families lining up for hours in some communities. Meanwhile, the cash and in-kind donations that keep diaper banks afloat have slumped, and their mostly volunteer workforce has shriveled since the pandemic. Diaper need is an often-overlooked measure of Americans’ economic reversals, said Joanne Samuel Goldblum, chief executive and founder of the National Diaper Bank Network. There are so many people “who do not have enough money to meet their basic needs, and what we’ve found is that diaper need is a window into poverty.”
Biden retreats from vow to make pariah of Saudis (AP) As a presidential candidate, Joe Biden promised to make a pariah out of Saudi Arabia over the 2018 killing of dissident Saudi writer Jamal Khashoggi. But when it came time to actually punish Saudi Arabia’s crown prince, America’s strategic interests prevailed. The Biden administration made clear Friday it would forgo sanctions or any other major penalty against Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the Khashoggi killing, even after a U.S. intelligence report concluded the prince ordered the hit. The decision highlights how the real-time decisions of diplomacy often collide with the righteousness of the moral high ground. And nowhere is this conundrum more stark than in the United States’ complicated relationship with Saudi Arabia—the world’s oil giant, a U.S. arms customer and a counterbalance to Iran in the Middle East. Ultimately, Biden administration officials said, U.S. interests in maintaining relations with Saudi Arabia forbid making a pariah of a young prince who may go on to rule the kingdom for decades. That stands in stark contrast to Biden’s campaign promise to make the kingdom “pay the price” for human rights abuses and “make them in fact the pariah that they are.”
Heavy rains lead to rescues, road closures in Appalachia (AP) Kentucky firefighter Eddie Stacy was turning his firetruck around in the dark while responding to storm damage when he noticed a tiny light coming from the flooded Red River. A woman was sitting on a stalled car’s door window, waving her cellphone flashlight and yelling for help. “Nobody could hear from where she was,” Stacy said. “That little flashlight when I was driving down the road just caught my attention. It was God, I tell you. It was God to have me in that place where I was supposed to be.” Heavy thunderstorms pounded parts of Appalachia on Sunday and Monday, sending rivers out of their banks and leading to multiple water rescues, mudslides, road closures and power outages, officials said. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear declared a state of emergency Monday because of heavy rainfall across the state.
In Mexico, those accidents waiting to happen (Worldcrunch) For drivers in Mexico, the rule of thumb for traffic accidents is simple: el que pega, paga! In other words, the perpetrator of a crash—i.e. the incoming vehicle—pays. In a country where many are uninsured, that kind of unspoken understanding makes sense. But the pega-paga approach has also created an opportunity for scammers to pocket some ill-gained pesos through a practice known as montachoques or chocachoca, the operative word being choque, Spanish for “crash.” An extortion technique being used increasingly in Mexico City, it involves provoking an accident by halting a car on a busy highway, then demanding compensation from the person who crashed in from behind. When victims are reluctant to pay, they are threatened and sometimes even attacked, a senior police official in the eastern sector of the city recently told the Milenio newspaper. The official, Luis Martínez Rodríguez, described a typical maneuver as overtaking a car, then suddenly slamming the breaks to provoke a crash. The “injured party” then steps out, sometimes with companions, and demands compensation, with sums ranging from the equivalent of around $70 euros to $1,500. Two or even three cars may be involved to ensure the victim is trapped into the situation.
Amid scramble for COVID-19 vaccine, Latin America turns to Russia (Reuters) As Bolivia struggled late last year to secure deals with large drug firms to supply COVID-19 vaccines, the incoming president, Luis Arce, turned to Russia for help. By the end of December, Bolivia clinched its first major COVID-19 vaccine deal, with enough shots for some 20% of the population. The first Sputnik V doses arrived in the country in late January, just as virus cases were spiking. “It was a really marathon task,” said Bolivian trade minister Benjamin Blanco of the procurement quest, but Russia’s political will made it possible. Western vaccine makers “told us developing countries that we had to wait until June.” He didn’t name names. Bolivia’s reliance on Moscow underscores how governments across the region have turned to Russia’s Sputnik V drug amid fears of being left behind in the global scramble for vaccines. As many wealthier developed nations have signed big deals with large drugmakers like Pfizer Inc and AstraZeneca PLC, countries in Latin America have faced difficulties securing adequate vaccine supplies.
Pandemic Pushes Brazilian Hospitals to Breaking Point (Reuters) Coronavirus deaths are now at an all-time high in Brazil, averaging 1,208 per day over the past week. New cases have also peaked, averaging roughly 54,000 per day over the last seven days. The increases are pushing medical resources to the limit. Intensive care units in 17 of Brazil’s 26 states are close to capacity, while six more are completely full, O Globo reports. Vaccine distribution, long-touted as the country’s strength, has been slow—only 3.2 percent of the country has been given a vaccine dose, according to Bloomberg.
Banks in Germany Tell Customers to Take Deposits Elsewhere (WSJ) Interest rates have been negative in Europe for years. But it took the flood of savings unleashed in the pandemic for banks finally to charge depositors in earnest. Germany’s biggest lenders, Deutsche Bank AG and Commerzbank AG, have told new customers since last year to pay a 0.5% annual rate to keep large sums of money with them. The banks say they can no longer absorb the negative interest rates the European Central Bank charges them. The more customer deposits banks have, the more they have to park with the central bank. That is creating an unusual incentive, where banks that usually want deposits as an inexpensive form of financing, are essentially telling customers to go away. Banks are even providing new online tools to help customers take their deposits elsewhere. According to price-comparison portal Verivox, 237 banks in Germany currently charge negative interest rates to private customers, up from 57 before the pandemic hit in March of last year. Charges range between 0.4% and 0.6% for deposits beginning anywhere from €25,000 to €100,000.
Gorbachev, last Soviet leader, to mark 90th birthday on Zoom (Reuters) Mikhail Gorbachev, the last Soviet leader, was expected to throw a Zoom party on Tuesday to celebrate his 90th birthday as President Vladimir Putin lauded him as an outstanding statesman who influenced the course of world history. Gorbachev, who championed arms control and democracy-oriented reforms as Soviet leader in the 1980s, is widely credited with helping end the Cold War. His critics in Russia blame him however, for what they regard as the unnecessary and painful breakup of the Soviet Union in 1991.
Afghan reconstruction (AP) A study from the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction reviewed the $7.8 billion spent on buildings and vehicles in the nation since 2008 and found that only $1.2 billion was used as intended, and a paltry $343.2 million worth of the buildings and vehicles remain maintained in good condition. The billions wasted include both infrastructure lost to attacks and corruption, and just kind of throwing money around without really thinking about it. Often the agencies responsible for building things did not ask if they were wanted or needed, or if they had the ability to maintain them.
Myanmar’s Military Deploys Digital Arsenal of Repression in Crackdown (NYT) During a half century of military rule, Myanmar’s totalitarian tools were crude but effective. Men in sarongs shadowed democracy activists, neighbors informed on each other and thugs brandished lead pipes. The generals, who staged a coup a month ago, are now back in charge with a far more sophisticated arsenal at their disposal: Israeli-made surveillance drones, European iPhone cracking devices and American software that can hack into computers and vacuum up their contents. In Myanmar, they are the digital weapons for an intensifying campaign in which security forces have killed at least 25 people and detained more than 1,100, including the ousted civilian leader, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. On Monday, she was hit with new criminal charges—making a statement that could alarm the public and inducing someone to act against the state—that could put her in prison for years. Hundreds of pages of Myanmar government budgets for the last two fiscal years viewed by The New York Times show a voracious appetite for the latest in military-grade surveillance technology. The documents, provided by Justice For Myanmar, catalog tens of millions of dollars earmarked for technology that can mine phones and computers, as well as track people’s live locations and listen in to their conversations.
China Charges Ahead With a National Digital Currency (NYT) Annabelle Huang recently won a government lottery to try China’s latest economics experiment: a national digital currency. After joining the lottery through the social media app WeChat, Ms. Huang, 28, a business strategist in Shenzhen, received a digital envelope with 200 electronic Chinese yuan, or eCNY, worth around $30. To spend it, she went to a convenience store near her office and picked out some nuts and yogurt. Then she pulled up a QR code for the digital currency from inside her bank app, which the store scanned for payment. China has charged ahead with a bold effort to remake the way that government-backed money works, rolling out its own digital currency with different qualities than cash or digital deposits. The country’s central bank, which began testing eCNY last year in four cities, recently expanded those trials to bigger cities such as Beijing and Shanghai, according to government presentations. The effort is one of several by central banks around the world to try new forms of digital money that can move faster and give even the most disadvantaged people access to online financial tools.
‘Turning the knife blade inwards’ (The Economist) For many members of China’s 3 million-strong domestic-security forces, these must be deeply worrisome times. On February 27th the Communist Party announced the start of a long-expected purge of their ranks. It will involve, say officials, “turning the knife-blade inwards” to gouge out those deemed corrupt or insufficiently loyal to the party and its leader, Xi Jinping. More than eight years into Mr Xi’s iron rule, the party appears to wonder whether a vital bulwark of its power is entirely trustworthy. State-controlled media have described it as the biggest such campaign since the late 1990s within the domestic security system, which includes the police, the secret police, the judiciary and prisons. It is due to last for about a year. The aim is to ensure that these agencies are “absolutely loyal, absolutely pure and absolutely reliable.”
Nearly four in 10 university students addicted to smartphones, study finds (The Guardian) Almost four in 10 university students are addicted to their smartphones, and their habit plays havoc with their sleep, research has found. A study of 1,043 students aged 18-30 at King’s College London found that 406 (38.9%) displayed symptoms of smartphone addiction, as defined by a clinical tool devised to diagnose the problem. More than two-thirds (68.7%) of the addicts had trouble sleeping, compared with 57.1% of those who were not addicted to their device. Students who used their phone after midnight or for four or more hours a day were most likely to be at high risk of displaying addictive use of their device. Participants were judged to be addicts if they could not control how long they spent on their phone, felt distressed when they could not access their phone, or neglected other, more meaningful parts of their life because they were busy on their device.

In this paper, the question of the motion of a projectile thrown at an angle to the horizon is learned. With zero air drag force, the analytic resolution is well understood. The course of the projectile is a parabola. In situations of practical interest, such as jaculatory a ball with the event of the strike of the medium the square resistance law is generally used. In that casing the question likely does not have an true analytic resolution and therefore in most expert publications it is solution numerically. Analytic advance to the resolution of the question are not sufficiently professional. Meanwhile, resolve solutions are very handy, for a honest preparedness to win problems and are expressly costly for a qualitative analysis. That is why the representation of the missile summon with a uncombed rough resolve formula under the quadratic air resistance instant big methodological interest. Lately these formulas have been procure. These formulas bestow us to obtain a finished divisive narration of the problem. This delineation perfect divisive formulas for shape the basic eight parameters of missile movement. Analytical formulas have been infer for the six fundamental official dependences of the statement including the trajectory equality in Cartesian coordinates. Also this description contains the judgment of the optimal throwing angle and maximum frequent of the motion. In the destitution of publicity resistance, all these relations transfer into well-understood formulas of the hypothesis, speculation of the parabolic motion of the projectile. The proposed analytical discharge oppose from other solutions by clearness of formulas, comfortableness of use and high fidelity (relation hallucination is near 1-2 %). The motion of a baseball is instant as an example. The converse formulas make it possible to carry out an resolvent examination of the motion of a projectile in a medium with resistance in the highway it is done in the casing of no drag.

There is some other division of search engine marketing and it is White Hat and Black Hat. White Hat website positioning takes time in giving results but it offers positive and long lasting results. On the contrary, Black Hat web optimization offers speedy results but the results are brief lived.
SEO is a time consuming system and you can see it working solely after a couple of months. Any search engine marketing approach needs at least six months in turning in outcomes and it would possibly not deliver anything even after eight months. How SEO works depends on the information and trip of digital marketing professionals.
SEO works like a tutorial for digital marketers. The on-line advertising executives take instructions from search engine tips and optimize web sites in accordance to the guidelines. It simplifies the guidelines launched with the aid of search engines from time to time.
Conclusion
Search engine optimization is a system and also a tutorial for marketers. But it is learnt that site owners preserve excessive hopes from the process. They trust that search engine marketing can turn horrific into good.
Competing With Larger E-Commerce Big Brands If You Are Small Online Retailer
Competing with huge manufacturers is certainly a massive deal. It is one of the most frustrating matters while working with e-commerce SEO. These shops include John Lewis and Amazon that stocks nearly something and the whole lot and ranks on top of the SERPs for any business term. If you are a small retailer, then outranking such big manufacturers at the pinnacle of the SERPs can have such an affect upon sales.
If you are a small retailer, then there is no denying the fact that outranking or beating these manufacturers in phrases of topping in the SERPs is pretty difficult and the impact it will have on sales. It’s in all likelihood too easy to provide in and anticipate that it’s never going to be convenient to knock them off the pinnacle spots, but it doesn’t need to be that way.
The thought of imparting is a hot debate and additionally one of the most frequent discussions amongst SEOs and ecommerce retail shops. Stores that are smaller usually offer a diverse range of excessive first-class merchandise inside a unique area of interest with a ways better ride and offerings that are pretty good. Such smaller manufacturers are known to be specialists in their field, but these big brands are known to outrank them and collect sales by way of stealing it from them.

Bigger manufacturers are recognized to get away with the fact that they do search engine optimization differently than others. They are reaping benefits from very high area authorities. Ecommerce giants like Amazon, eBay, John Lewis, and many different manufacturers will frequently appear on TV and all over the press. This would suggest that, it would be simpler to rank them for even the most aggressive terms, regardless of an optimized title tag, optimized H1 tag, a great exercise URL structure, optimized web page content and high exceptional links pointing immediately toward the ranking of the page.
But what they don’t have is area of interest relevancy. You can show this simply by using searching at domain authority in comparison to the relevancy of sites ranking on the SERPs. If we do a search for ‘silver move dolls pushchairs, we will find pinnacle two ranking search results. They return – Silver Cross Dolls' Prams & Pushchairs - Brand New Range For Kids and Online Groceries, Banking & Mobile Phones as we see that ‘play like mum’ is a smaller company that has outclassed a brand like ‘Tesco’. ‘Play like mum’ has a smaller domain authority than ‘Tesco’, however nonetheless ranks higher than the brand. Why?
The rating web page is simply a generic class instead than one of the committed retailers at Silver Cross dolls’ class as the Silver Cross Dolls' Prams & Pushchairs - Brand New Range For Kids is. Retailers like Tesco, shares lots of product stages from groceries to gadgets and the whole thing else. Although it would possibly no longer be capable to rank on domain authority, but it is a specialist retailer who can furnish you with the probability to increase some variety of area of interest shop that can outrank massive brands at all instances with the aid of constructing a save that search engines would recognize as an authority.
So what is your plan of action going to be to beat these huge brands? Here are some steps to what you can do to remain on pinnacle of your sport and crawl way to the pinnacle in terms of rankings without such big brands.

If you are a small e-commerce shop that wants to continue to be in the market and do business, then you need to focal point on essential terms and this will not disappoint you. In order to rank well on the SERPs, you have to apprehend that you want to have a greater domain authority, particularly with head terms even if your site is content material heavy and is relevant to your business. You have to work around this and there is nothing tons you can do anything about it. That’s how SEO works also we will provide best video editing course in Rohini Delhi – bottom-line.
