I don’t have much art of cloudstare but here he is with his bestie!

Rainstar was half-blinded by her ex in their fight, and her other scars are from lives lost. Cloudstare’s are from having been forced to use claws in training, among other things. the beauty mark is a lineart mistake unfortunately

He’s a goofy guy and he’s cathartic to talk about because he dissociates a LOT, boy rarely finds a good connection to the world around him. He’s like a ghost almost, wandering the world with no words escaping him as he stares around the environment with wide eyes that focus on nothing.

Cloudstare’s story revolves around the concept of cycles of abuse and violence and how it’s important to teach the truth and nothing but the truth about horrible situations like tyrannical/dictatorship periods and/or abuse in personal relationships, because if we do not teach people about the past, it repeats. Bisonstar was not properly taught about the past and sought the story out from the dark forest he visited at night, so he got a corrupted form of the truth from Henstar and Vetchneedle. Bisonstar became a repeat of the nightmare.

Meet the OCs: Cherrythorn (she/they/he) - @brokentranstar

Warrior of ShadowClan. She was born to a medicine cat father, and ex-kittypet mother. She was apprenticed to the leader, and quickly after that, her father admitted to having sired her and her brother, from that moment on Cherrypaw tried their best to prove their worth to the Clan. Cherrythorn got really ambitious after becoming a full warrior and losing his younger sister. He decided he really wanted to be deputy then, though he had no luck in it, he wanted a good explanation for why he wasn't chosen. She didn't want to believe it simply wasn't meant to be, so when her previous apprentice approached her with complaints about her behavior, she decided that her apprentice was at fault, so she drowned her. Moons later, when they found their father injured, they kept him from calling for help, and waited until he died, believing that he's the reason no one respects them, and blaming him for their mothers death. He eventually became leader by force, but was executed by his own brother, and ended up in the Dark Forest.

He’s an elder, retired healer who was also the son of the last leader of his clan. He is from Sun-Gazeclan, a fusion clan his father created from Sunclan and the remains of Gazeclan after a tornado. He retired because he was unable to continue his duties due to the weight of everything his father did and caused. His childhood best friend is the leader after overthrowing his father and deputy/brother many moons ago.

I share African American and Native American Ancestry. My mother is African American, and my father is Native American. As a kid from a split parent home, it was easier for me to identify with whichever parent I was with at the time. If I was with my mother, then I was Black. If I was with my father, then I was Native. My skin tone, hair texture, body shape, and the way I talked didn't fit either cultural norm. The result was that both families and society saw me as different. I was teased, called derogatory names, and treated as an immigrant. However, my dad always made me feel special and loved. He taught me about our culture, ancestry and language. Likewise, my maternal grandmother taught me our traditions, history, and faith. My blended identity is rich. I want to be an example, a voice, for those who share my same experience or see our cultural similarities. I am an African-Native American lover of Jesus Christ, wife, mom, military veteran, white-collar, curvy fashionista. It's ok when you don't fit the cultural norm. My double heritage is indivisible, therefore so is my identity. My identity is more than outward, it’s engrained deep within me. It’s my heartbeat. of course! it's been a bit since i've played with them (moved to another clan, seracclan) but as of moon 159, bisonstar is the leader and a cat named dawnpool is the deputy.

bisonstar is 146 moons, having mentored five cats previously. she's cunning, a lore master, and has a natural intuition. her father was mudleaf, who was exiled for murder. she has 6 children, 2 who are living, and 7 grandchildren, 6 who are living.

dawnpool is 70 moons, the son of brookblaze and fiercesoul (both deceased). he's lonesome, a talented swimmer, and a den builder. he really, really dislikes a cat named owlflicker, who is both troublesome and has a dark forest affinity.

recently, lowclan and brushclan have been tense, after a young warrior, moondapple, was murdered by brushclan cats. war may be on the horizon...
