#bittybones discord server

Is there a type of discord for bitty shop onwers? if not, would you join one if somone made one? a space for Bitty creaters to share their bitties and talk and interact with other bitty creators in a more causal amd easy space then tumbler dms? Just simply curious!

*I know there is at least one bittybones discord server, but I think it is just a general server. I’m not sure if there is one for shop owners and bitty designers. If anyone knows of one, please leave a comment or mention it in a reblog so that people seeing this ask can find it! If you have a post about one already or have seen a post about one, you can also tag me and I will share it!

*As for using Discord servers myself? I’m sorry to say that I have terrible social anxiety that extends to Discord. I start to feel awkward and tend to lurk or just fade out of conversation. I do that thing where I lie awake for hours thinking of things I should have said. I think of a good response like 3 weeks later. I worry about people’s perception of me. It’s just a little too stressful, so I avoid it, just like any other healthy adult with a problem!

*Also, to those looking for bittybones Discord servers and other group interactions, remember that some people are jackasses. Arguing with them won’t change it. It’s ok to block someone or leave a server if someone is making you uncomfortable. It’s better than allowing yourself to become upset or losing your joy in something. This goes for any fandom or interactive experience. Don’t let anyone steal your joy with their poor behavior. Remove yourself from the situation and give yourself some time to calm down.

I designed a pair of bittybones for a person on an undertale discord server. For those who don't know, bittybones is an undertale au about being able to adopt varieties of miniature monsters as pets and companions. the goner kid one on the left is about 3 inches tall, the gaster on the right is about 5 inches tall when they aren't slouching. These two are escaped test subjects from a lab that was illegally experimenting on bittys in order to research monsters, how they function, and how their magic might be exploited. The gaster bitty is a smart cookie with a fatherly streak who helped make the pair of robot wings for the monster kid they escaped with, but is otherwise on the shy and reserved side. The monster kid is still young and excitable, but still a bit unstable thanks to the experiments done on them. together they are best described like

You are doing this perfectly correct. Thanks for reading our rules :DSo about the Lil Bro. Ever since we took him into the mbpo to recover he rarely trusted our co-workers and volunteer caretakers. Sadly. Though he seemed to attach more easily to persons/ bitties which are much calmer and can also be fine with some quiet time. At least I can say so after getting some glimpses here and there when he was in the play area. He was normally around Softies and Sansys. I think he would go well with you if you are a little extra caring but also can keep your distance (more so give him the space he needs) whenever he needs it. You may keep an eye on him when he is feeling particulary down on some days. Watch his smoking habits, he sometimes tends to do it more often than normally seen within Lil Bro’s.Other then that the general info about Lil Bros according to @bittybones-au is the following:

I'm working on setting up a rescue/recovery center for abandoned, traumatized, hurt or otherwise unadoptable bitties, and I had a couple questions since you've been very well established as a bittybone creator and care taker. I'm thinking I should set up a separate blog for the venture, but I was wondering what your take on the idea might be and how you think it might pan out overall. I want to help all the hurt bitties out there, but I know it's very hard work and I can use All The Help.

*Here is my advice about your idea based on my experiences with running a bitty blog (which started as a writing blog, then became a blog for writing and reblogs, then became a bitty and ask blog with some writing):

It is a good idea to have a specific blog for your bitty stuff. If you compare my organized bitty blog to my main blog, you’d see that my main blog is a dumpster fire of everything I like with shoddy tagging, posts at all times of the day and night, no real theme, etc. On this blog, people are seeing content that is relevant to their specific interest.

Start your blog with some posts! Don’t wait for followers to start creating content. When people come to your blog, there should be something there for them to see. Post some information, reblog a few things. Give people a general idea of the content they will be seeing on the blog!

Tag things! Make an organized tagging system so that people can find the posts they are most interested in or blacklist things they may not want to see. Remember to use popular tags that relate to your blog like “bittybones” or “bitties” to help people find you. Those tags should be listed first so that they show up on Tumblr search.

Interact. Join a bitty Discord server and/or interact with other bitty blogs. This will help people to see your username, click it, and maybe decide to follow your blog. Interacting with followers also makes people feel more welcome on your blog.

Be patient. It takes time for a blog to gain followers at first, but you’ll build momentum as time passes as long as you stick with it and don’t get discouraged.

Enjoy what you do. This is probably the most important thing. Make sure you enjoy your blog. If the blog feels like a chore or stresses you out too much, then it may not be a good idea. You should be having as much fun running the blog as people are having by viewing it.

Hey Mama Vex, I was wondering if you might have any tips for running a lamia Bitty adoption blog, as you’ve inspired me to run one with a friend of mine. We’re hammering out the info on the bitties we offer and getting art done as well, but any advice would be amazing. Thank you! I love your blog!!

*The best advice I can give is to be active in the bittybones community and be patient. When this blog started, it was mostly a writing and bittybones appreciation blog. I reblogged some Undertale art too. When I created the lamia bittybones I wanted to make something unique and special, but even then, the popularity didn’t take off at first. It took time.

*Here are some tips:

Make sure to get your bitty bios reblogged to @bittywiki

Interact with other bittybones blogs. There is even a discord server you can join

Offer a way for followers to interact such as matchups, roleplays, or adoption scenarios

Don’t get discouraged if it takes some time
