but really i really love the stay au it's so sweet to see a nonfucked version of tord be so warm and gentle and that tord is ACTUALY in love with tom, and that does work to better himself(we love healthy relationships yaaay!!! :DDD)

Mini rant (?) below about my stupid red-blue bitches ship.

I know people joke that the tomtord shippers have died out but genuinely, I don't see a lot of people make content (like non fucked decent content) for them anymore. Sometimes I feel like I'm standing alone in a broken city that used to be teeming with life, but it's all gone now and people talk about it like it's taboo. Sometimes I meet other travelers, but they only pass by and I'm all alone again.

It's slightly why I'm cannibalizing myself on Stay AU, I really want to see the dynamic of theirs thats more on 'Bickers like an old couple' Or 'Bitch attracted to Bitch'. We have enough content thats dark and fucked up (And yes I am counting myself with Regimen but that fic was always meant to be angsty and dark), and not a lot of people, that I can see at least, leans towards a cuter dynamic these days :/ Like its so possible for them to still be bitching at each other but still care!! That's exactly the kind of relationship I have with a very close friend of mine, they give me shit, and I bitch at them, but I fucking love that asshole to death (even if its not romantic love).

A healthy romantic relationship won't always be just pure fluff, sometimes we can get irritated at our partner and nibble at them a little bit, but we never hurt them in any way that matters. Thats the kind of dynamic I really really like when it comes to tomtord, but unfortunately all the decent creators that liked it have moved on, or just dont try to make content for it anymore because people accuse them of liking an "abusive" ship which just :////// naurrrrrrrr

I'm really sad that getting branded as a tomtord shipper has like this stigma to it now, like you could just say "Oh that person ships tomtord" and suddenly they're a pariah like mannnn I just wanna see two whiny loser bitches fall in love and be whiny loser bitches together.

Spoiler talk for the latest chapters below:

If AK somehow popped into the Regimen universe during the time Tom is already with Tord, he'll definitely sense something off with this Tord (Because animalistic traits lmao), he feels nothing like his dad but RTom feels just like his papa, so he would be instantly hostile with RTord whilst defending RTom. Tord is not happy with this little brat, thinking he's something for standing in between him and his Thomas. What he doesn't account for however, is that AK is a type of Hellhound like his original papa, hes just a puppy but still formidable. He could give RTom a fair chance to escape, but that would lead to both of them getting targeted now, since AK is basically a bioweapon and Tom is, well, Tom. And unlike his papa, despite being a hellhound, AK is just a kid, he cant fight off RA as well as STom would have. So either they escape and be hunted down (and captured because I cant foresee a viable way out with just the two of them) or Tom steps up and holds AK back before he does anything rash, but that would lead to AK becoming added leverage against him, putting him under Tord's thumb even more.

Haha, hi Alex! ^^ Very fun to see you here. I kinda answered this already but I'm happy to do so again BUT this time, I'll answer with their 40 year old Stay versions.

So, if Stay Tom met Regimen Tord he would be truly and utterly disgusted by him. Sure, his husband at that age (early 30s) might have had the same kind of issues, still has those issues, but he isn't as cruel, he isn't as sadistic, and sure as hell doesn't take any pleasure in the cruelty he commits to people who don't even deserve it. All he sees is a little boy on a power trip not even half the man his husband is, and while his Tord isn't all squeaky clean, at least he isn't like that. Plus, its not like the little shit can do anything to threaten him, he's older, wiser, and virtually the second leader of a version of RA, he doesn't scare him. Not. One. Bit. Regimen Tom: This Tord looks older, tired....sadder. Despite his form, that towers over his own by a scary degree, when Tom is in his presence he seems to shrink, he would cringe away when they meet eye to eye, curl in on himself and seemingly try to hide. There's a pain to his features that screams guilt, for something Tom isn't even sure what for. Part of him is screaming, wailing, clawing at his mind. Danger. Danger. Danger. KILL HIM KILL HIM KILL HIM. TORD LARSIN IS A DANGER AND HE HAS TO KILL HIM. But this Tord is older, tired, sadder....and feels guilty about him. He feels like.....he feels like a home that doesn't exist, but he still feels homesick for. Somewhere he wants to go home to, but it was never real to begin with. A home that doesn't belong to him, but he wants. So he chooses to sit close to him, and this Tord would flinch but he won't mind that, and just look at him. "If it means anything....I'm sorry..." He would say. "I would..... I would have never let anything hurt you, love...." It means nothing. And when he looks at him, he's sure he's seeing another Tom, 'love' was not meant for him. He's homesick......for a home that doesn't even exist.

HHH TY!! Matt is actually a little bit of a comfort character, ik in the show he’s a narcissist for goofs but that kind of self-love and confidence is something I sorely need sometimes lmao.

AND YE PROTECTIVE BEST FRIEND. I love my romantic ships, but other forms of love also get me going. I will emphasize a LOT that these two genuinely love each other, and although its not romantic, its just as strong.
