Sebastian looked up from the book he held in his hand, his other occupied by holding up his head as he sprawled out lazily on the couch. The sun drifted in from the large window behind him, shining off the mirror that was across the room. It was a rare moment for them. In hundreds of years, it was rare for them to have a moment where they could do something as simple as read a book or enjoy the afternoon sun. 

“When has anything ever been soft for us?” Sebastian couldn’t help the small smirk that played on his lips as he set the book aside. “But if I had to have an epilogue, I’m sure you would find a way to make it the softest.”

It had only been a couple of weeks since he and Blaine broke up. Now, it just felt like he was numb to the pain he still felt inside. He was exhausted and emotionally drained from crying so much. It wasn’t until Rachel had forced him out of bed and get cleaned up that he was finally out and about again. While Rachel was getting a seat for them, Kurt was currently grabbing both of their coffee orders. Though as he turns around, he freezes as he’s face to face with Blaine again. He feels very lucky that he didn’t demolish the cups he was holding in his hands. Kurt didn’t know what to do, he couldn’t even bring himself to move out of the way.

Cooper often resented being back at home with the family, he had his own life now, he did his own thing. Being back in Ohio with the Anderson’s, only reminded him how far he’d come, and how much he really didn’t belong here. Still, his mother only had one birthday a year, and he only really needed to be here for a couple of days before he could escape back to LA, back to his own life.

Tapping his fingers against his glass, the corner’s of his mouth twitched up into a grin as Blaine took to the stage for the annual ‘Anderson Brother’s’ karaoke. Cooper was hoping he’d get away with it this year, not that he was trying to shy away from the limelight, but it was always the same thing, the same routine that they’d been performing together since they were kids. Nothing had changed, and knowing his family, he doubted it ever would.

Laughing as Blaine beckoned him up onto the stage, he rolled his eyes and placed his glass on the table behind him, and got to his feet. “Only for you, Squirt,” He told him, muttering against his ear as he joined his younger brother on stage, much to the delight of the rest of the Anderson family.

He wanted to scoff, and he nearly did. Key word nearly. He didn’t want to dismiss Blaine’s comment, it came from somewhere after all. To him, nothing Blaine did was out of the blue. He also wanted to be at his best around Blaine, he wanted to be his best self, no matter what that entailed. So Sebastian had to check his behavior. So instead of scoffing, and making some witty remark, he tiled his head slightly, “What about me do you think is fake?”

9. favorite smell in the summer? it’s a tie between the ocean and bonfires because most summers i spend experiencing both.
