Blair was much better around vampires these days. Heck, she could have a coffee with Carrie McReid or make some extremely awkward small talk with either of the Andrews brothers without feeling too unsettled. But Jessica Harvelle was another thing entirely. Staring at her, as she tried to keep a grip on everything in her arms, Blair had a sudden, unpleasant memory of that evening, of almost getting...well, bitten. "I've got it," she said, nearly snapping, all but flinching to keep Jess from touching her. "I don't need your-any help."
