Something I've always liked about Blazblue is how mood-wise it's pretty well rounded. It's very earnest in it's serious moods but at the same time it doesn't take itself too seriously. Even taking out the gag reels I feel like the game does a good job where all the grit and edge is well balanced with silly or more wholesome moments. Even the most serious and tragic character has funny quirks and even the most goofy character has some edges. It's very good with keeping the mood from turning into something irritating across the main story. XBlaze also does an excellent job at this (pspspsps it's not too late to play XBlaze) and I would argue at least Variable Heart is decent at it too. I haven't gone totally through Phase Shift but considering it's pretty well liked I'd assume that of it as well, and I'd even give Bloodedge Experience that from what I've heard from other people.

7oby ohhh my god oh my god sorry for infodumping about Blazblue in your ask box because of a seemingly unrelated Guilty Gear post but on your Kuro Ky post you mentioned the ASGARD circle. That's the circle that the creator of Remix and Variable Heart and also just. one of the artists for the Blazblue series Sumeragi published her yaoi doujin under. Judging by the art style it probably is actually her possibly under a different name this is a hilarious coincidence I'm losing my MIND

I've been on the fence about creating a BlazBlue self insert/headcanon blog for a while now, but the activity of @nkn0va has baited me over the edge. Some of you folks might know me from over at @mizukagami-takamagahara. I wonder if being a whore on here will damage my image...

This blog was made on a whim and as a hobby. I'm not sure how long I intend to play around with it, and I won't make any promises. I write stuff like this for pals all the time, but I've never tried doing it online...

General Guidelines;

This blog only intends to do headcanons.

Content will be written with a gender neutral reader assumed. If specifically requested, I will adjust. If I feel the inspiration or the need to distinguish between how a character may interact with a specific gender, I will note it in a separate section of the post- listing all gender neutral headcanons first, then gendered ones under their own heading.

This is a hobby blog. I will respond to requests slowly. Answers will be on some kind of queue. Maybe alongside some aesthetic fluff posts… I'll tag #phantom filler for anything that isn't the content you came here to see, so feel free to block or blacklist as needed.

Mild NSFW allowed. This is a lenient rule. You can talk about sex, I'm just not prepared to get too detailed at this time. This rule may change as I start to feel more comfortable with the characters. Mod is 20+. For the time being, try not to get too kinky, try not to get too graphic, but don't be afraid to bring up a topic and I'll let you know if it's doable or not.

On the topic of characters widely accepted to be underage, such as Platinum or Carl. For now, the most sordid I'm willing to write for them will be age-appropriate crushing.

I'm game to write for the C-Series, Remix/Variable Heart, and the XBlaze duology. Hopefully I will be able to expand this list in the future.

Updated introductory post! This is a casually run hobby blog for BlazBlue self-insert content and general headcanons.

General Guidelines:

We write headcanons, no proper fics or drables. I do aim for a minimum of 100 words for each point, and eight points per request. If you'd like to see some of what I've done, click here!

Reader-insert content is written for a gender neutral audience. I try to keep specifically gendered headcanons to a minimum, though I'll clearly indicate if a certain point or post is going to touch on gender as a topic.

Don't expect a fast response time. This is my hobby, and I want to approach it at a nice, relaxed pace. If you'd like to know whether or not I've gotten your request, you can check my WIP list here! Requests will usually be written in the order they were received, but I may prioritize work for characters who have a birthday coming up.

There is no limit on the number of characters you may request at once. Each request will be filled in a separate post regardless. However, if you request several characters in one go, I may space out the posts, working on other people's requests in between yours.

I write for C-Series, Remix/Variable Heart, and the XBlaze duology. Hopefully I will be able to expand this list in the future.
