I feel like Sero is genuinely so fun to date, just like he said in that one dorm episode, he’s always the wild card.

He’s a goofball, so he adores making you laugh and smile as much as he can. I love him omg😭

Will definitely take advantage of his height (he’s among the taller ones in the class) and give you surprise hugs from behind and rest his head on yours.

He’ll also use his quirk on you for everything from pranks to just randomly pulling you to him to give you a quick peck or a hug :’)

He’s pretty standard with PDA, so he won’t go around making out with you in public but he will do little gestures like those <3

In private I feel like he’s definitely cuddly, he’s just so happy to be with you!

He loves having you over at his room to just chill or be in each other’s presence, even if you’re doing stuff individually.

Speaking of, the bakusquad definitely complains about you having privilege in using the hammock in Hanta’s room. 

Denki will whine like; “why does y/n always get to use the hammock? You said it was out of bounds!”

“That’s on pretty privilege, sorry! And you’re just jealous you don’t have a cool s/o like mine,” Sero will say and poke his tongue out from the hammock where you’re swinging togehter :’) 

I’m warning you now, if you had a healthy sleep schedule before going out with him, you can kiss it goodbye.

Sero will absolutely be up till like 3 am sending you memes and tiktoks that remind him of you.

And with him blowing up your phone you’ll most likely end up talking into ungodly hours of the night, the *sleep deprivation* only causing funnier conversations.

Those will end up becoming inside jokes that he’ll bring up to make you laugh while the rest of the class is like ???

That also results in some weird ass nicknames sorry not sorry

So he’ll sometimes call you regular stuff like babe and other times... he’ll call you things like “Bert” (FOR NO REASON??) or “Candied Blood Pumping Organ” instead of sweetheart lmao

Overall you two are just THE chaotic couple (and if you’re not generally that way he will bring out that side of you)

Pranking your classmates? Pranking each other? Random ass adventures? Trying weird food together? Dancing in the kitchen at midnight while sharing late night snacks? By going out with him you said yes to all of the above.

From sneaking out of the dorms for late night food runs to occasionally skipping class to go to the arcade or the beach, you usually can’t go a week without doing something fun togehter.

This one time you two were out with the Bakusquad and y’all stopped by a supermarket to get food. 

So you had to ask Bakugou to buy you something bc you and Sero had to stay outside and just hand him the money.

He was like “tf?? why? Just buy your shit yourselves!” You had to explain you two were banned from the store because Hanta had accidentally crashed a cart he was driving you around in into a display of cereal boxes.

Ah yes, good times.

Todoroki Shoto

I feel like he’ll definitely need a small push when it comes to relationships bc of his past, but once you’re with him he’ll care deeply about you and will try to make you as happy as you make him :’)

I’m begging you, please give this boy some luv and affection!! For the most part you’d probably initiate PDA because he’s too nervous to do it himself

At the beginning he wouldn’t even be comfy cuddling, solely because he’d be afraid of hurting you somehow :(

But once you’ve reassured him he complies, and from then on out you just have to open your arms and he’ll instantly know it’s *cuddle time*

It’a one of his favorite pastimes bc he just feels so safe and loved <3 he also just loves the feeling of you playing with his hair

Luckily you get to do it year round since you cuddle his hot side in the winter and cold side during the summer

I feel like he’s secretly insecure, so the fact that you trust him and love him for who he is makes him feel like he could melt <3

Because of that you’re the only one he truly opens up to and shows his real feelings to, not to mention the only one who can touch his scar

And though he isn’t great with words, one look at him during one of these personal moments when its just you two, and you can just see it in his eyes.

Especially if you kiss his scar, his eyes might even get teary this sweet boy I 😭

Since you’ve been together, Shoto has just been so much happier, so his siblings and mother LOVE you.

They’re constantly inviting you over for dinner when Endevour is working (bc he’s a huge buzzkill to say the least), and his mom adores when you come with Shoto to visit her :)

Todoroki really enjoys seeing you get along with the people he cares the most about...

 BUT what he hates is THE EMBARRASING STORIES HIS FAMILY TELLS YOU OMG (you live for them, but I wouldn’t tell him that if I were you)

“Fuyumi remember when Shoto-” “Natsuo, no💙“ your bf will say as he unconsciously squeezes your hand, both of the siblings laughing at Shoto’s glare.

You had to hold in your laughter so hard omg

Though he isn’t that talkative, you guys definitely have that kind of relationship where you two could be silent and still feel completely comfortable (oh I’m so jealous of that but nvm)

He’s definitely observant, so expect the most considerate gifts and the most assertive observations, he’ll always know what you need.

The type of observant that gives you a water bottle before you even notice you’re thristy during training, or switches sides while walking so you loop your arm with his on his warm side when you’re cold.

Also the type to gift you that one thing you really wanted but mentioned once like months ago along with your favorite snacks/drink (you best believe he has them all memorized bc he’s just that attentive)

Over all, just a really soothing relationship were you can be comfortable with each other and feel at home when you’re together.

Bakugou Katsuki

Ok so, I feel like you’d be a competitive couple, turning anything into a competition in an endearingly annoying way.

You’re definitely the type of couple to go to laser tag, an escape room, an arcade, etc, as dates >:) but the competitions don’t end there:

Who can plan the best date? Who can make the other blush first? Who can get the other the better gift? Who’s the better kisser? Who gets the higher score in class? Or wins at sparring?

Especially when it comes to productive stuff like training or academics, although he won’t admit it, he’s just pushing you to be your best because he knows how amazing you are :’)

All the bakusquad knows about your shenanigans and at this point they’ve learnt to stay out of it & go get the Advil just in case bless their souls lmao

I’m sorry but he definitely calls you nicknames that purposely piss you off (with no ill intentions ofc), like “gremlin”, “dumbass” or “booger”

I suggest you also call him stuff like that back, like “angry pom” or “blasty” to get on his nerves >:)

You guys also definitely friendly bicker all the time, knowing that you take it lightly (though strangers won’t, resulting in some hilariously awkward situations)

“You’re such a fucking idiot,” he’ll say rolling his eyes as he messes up your hair.

Just watch his smirk dissapears when you reply, “no, u❤️″ It gets on his nerves, I just know it.

So he’ll chase you around as you call each other random stuff. While the other people at the convenience store are just like  👁👄👁

He never means it tho, keep in mind if you’re dating the self proclaimed future no. 1 hero he thinks highly of you :)

So he’d definitely be protective while simultaneously showing you off <3

Will always greet you with a kiss and keep his hand on your back or waist so ppl know you’re with him

Why can’t he be real ughhh

i’ve had an hc that dakota is native american for a long time now, and after reading this awesome post i was inspired and like “what if he and piper were cousins??” so let me share some things i’ve imagined about them so far (warning: this is one long ass post):

- they were both born and raised in tahlequah, oklahoma (not in a reservation tho bc there’s no cherokee reservation in oklahoma, rick’s an idiot who doesn’t research anything)

- dakota is two years older than piper and that made him a bit overprotective of her while growing up. even when they were kids, piper got a lot of attention from mostly other boys (which would later make her feel super self conscious of her own looks) and dakota would pick up on her discomfort and shoo away all of them in an instant

- like seriously, he’s a pretty observant kid and piper would always flinch when a boy got too close for comfort. so dakota was always more than ready to help her out

- imagine how overjoyed grandpa tom was when he found out he was going to be a grandpa, twice, in such a short span of time. dakota had barely just turned 1 year old when tristan announces the woman he’s dating is pregnant tom cried so much, bless him

- now grandpa is no fool though. he knew something was up with the ppl his children were dating, he knew they weren’t ordinary folks. and he suspected his future grandchildren wouldn’t be exactly ordinary either. and how right he was

- just a few months after he was born in september 1992, baby dakota was taken on a little trip with his mom and grandfather around tulsa and they came across a huge vineyard

- it’s january and it’s hecking cold (like 50ºF/10ºC) and the vines, as you’d expect, are basically dead. that’s when something remarkable happens: the plants start to reach out towards dakota and the closer he is to them, the livelier they get

- grandpa is shocked to say the least but he plays it cool. he just turns towards his daughter and calmly asks “care to explain please” to which she then proceeds to spill the beans about how she met the roman god of wine whose son is currently being held by grandpa tom

- tom is really surprised that his daughter dated an actual immortal deity from ancient times, or that they even exist at all (he thought greek myths, and therefore roman by extension, were a bunch of bull). yet at the same time he’d been suspecting the dude wasn’t completely human for a while now...

- in the end he happily accepts both his daughter’s love for bacchus (if that’s even who he really is) and the son they had, and never loves dakota any less even now that he knows he’s a demigod

- except they don’t tell tristan bc 1. bacchus told dakota’s mom to keep it a secret (whoops), 2. tristan’s a skeptic who doesn’t believe in any kind of myths so what’s the point and 3. tristan’s sweetheart is pretty high guard about her own identity and grandpa’s noticed this and he thinks she’s hiding the truth from his son for a good reason (again, he is such a skeptical man, he’d probably think they were all insane)

- april 1994. piper is born and an almost 2 y/o dakota is finally introduced to the cousin he’d been hearing so much about

- both love their grandfather and listening to stories about their culture. and grandpa loves that his grand-kids are so keen on learning

- they live a pretty happy childhood overall. apart from dakota’s innate abilities to making vines grow whenever he walks by (though he remains oblivious to this bc his mom goes to great efforts to ensure he doesn’t find out so soon, he’s still a little kid after all), none of his other powers manifest all that much when he’s a toddler. and neither do piper’s

- ofc, being demigods they’re constantly exposed to the danger of being discovered by monsters but they luck out and continue living in ignorant bliss of their godly parentage

- they love being outside. playing, napping, talking, whatever it is, they don’t like being indoors. they’re always running around everywhere, climbing trees, rolling around in the grass, etc it’s a very rare occurrence when they manage to return home with clean clothes

- they just have a looot of energy and they like using it. getting them to calm down is a challenge in itself, they’re always goofing around. whether they’re having a nice family dinner (food fights tend to occur more often than not), or watching cartoons before bedtime (reenacting cool fight scenes is a must!)

- but then one day, just a few weeks after his 8th birthday, dakota shows up at tristan’s house with his mom and she says she needs to talk with his uncle and grandfather

- the kids are told to go play for a little while in the backyard to let the grown ups have some privacy

- dakota is uncharacteristically quiet. piper notices it right away, how her cousin’s shoulders are slacked and his eyebrows furrowed in distress. she asks what’s wrong, what happened to make him so sad

- “i have to move away” he says. piper is shocked, starts asking why. why, where to, and can’t the whole family go with him?

- “no. just me. somewhere far away”. “but why?!”. “because it’ll be bad if i don’t”

- the rest of the day goes by in a blur. piper can’t understand what’s happening. why does dakota have to go all alone? why can’t her aunt go too? why don’t her dad or her grandfather try to stop them?

(- later, when piper demands her dad for explanations, tristan only says what his sister told him: that dakota needs to go somewhere that’ll be better for him, that piper’s aunt can’t take care of him by herself. grandpa tom tells her the same thing whenever piper turns to him but he knows. his daughter told him the truth)

- saying goodbye is the only moment that seems to last an eternity though. piper is full on crying and sobbing, holding on to dakota with all her strength and begging her cousin to stay, stay and everything will be okay bc he’ll be with her and all the people who love him

- dakota cries too, though not as hard. he’s barely keeping it together but he’s the older cousin and he needs to be strong for piper

- inside though he’s terrified of what’s happening to him. to him and to his mom and now his dear little cousin and his uncle and grandpa. he wants to stay but bacchus was clear during his sudden unexpected visit: he needs to go to the wolf house right away

- his mom takes him there. this goodbye is even more terrible than the previous one. in the midst of all the crying he promises that he’ll be okay, that he loves her and will visit as soon as he can

- dakota hadn’t had the fortune (or permission) of visiting his mom and granddad back in tahlequah often. and the few times he had managed, piper had been away with her dad on his trips looking for a job as an actor in los angeles

- one day, now 13 y/o, he was at his mom’s place with his grandfather too, just sitting and talking and enjoying each other’s company when they decided it was time to tell him the horrible news: his grandpa had been diagnosed with lung cancer

- tom reassured him all throughout his grandson’s hysterics that he felt fine and that he was at peace with the situation

- and then dakota asked the dreaded question

- “... how long?”

- “... soon”

- when dakota made it back to camp he started asking around for possible cures, talking with praetors and centurions and just about anyone who might help him

- though in the end he didn’t find any medicine that could possibly save his grandfather

- and it’s not like the romans really cared for helping outsiders either

- the day he got the news grandpa tom had passed away, just a little over 2 months later, he refused to leave his bunk bed for the remainder of it and it took his two centurions to force him out of it the next morning

(- dakota swears that, out of all the days he’d felt the most lonely and in need of the warm comfort of his family, that had been the most painful one he’d endured in his whole life)

(- he also wondered if piper had known about their grandfather’s condition, and for one moment he actually hoped she didn’t just so she could be spared of going through the same despair he and the rest of their family had)

(- he’d also wished, more ardently than ever before, to be able to hug his beloved little cousin again just like he had so many times years before)

- fast forward to 2010. dakota is standing with the rest of the romans at cj, staring at a greek ship that quickly approaches camp

- his long time friend jason is said to be on board and dakota is just dying to give the dude the longest and most bone crushing hug ever

- plot twist: it’s piper who gets the pleasure of receiving the longest and most bone crushing hug ever. but she returns it tenfold rip dakota’s back

- their reunion was a hazard mix of tears, laughter and wrestling. he and jason happily gave piper a tour of the camp, though tbh she didn’t really pay attention to much, catching up with her fave cousin was obviously the priority

- during her quest to save the world, she iris messages dakota as regularly as she can and they talk for hours on end, sharing stories from their past, their family, their beloved grandpa tom whom they missed terribly every single day, everything really

- piper confides in him how much her dad’s lack of interest and pride for cherokee culture has rocked her own, how growing up with him so absent from her life and so worried with rejecting everything cherokee/native american related had made her feel so uncomfortable in her own skin

- dakota takes all this in silence and just lets her get it all out. he hears her every complaint and insecurity and fear. then he starts telling her the stories their grandfather had told them

- he tells at least 2 different ones every night they talk, always with a smile on his face, always trying to replicate the exact same tone and pace their granddad used

- and it eventually gets piper to smile too

- one night it’s dakota who confesses how much he regrets not visiting tahlequah more often, how he wishes he’d spent more time with thomas before he’d passed away, how he wished he’d been with him during those last few days if not to just hear him going on and on about cherokee myths like he loved to

- that gets piper crying in no time. dakota cries too. they just spend a good 10 minutes sobbing together through their reflections in the watery rainbow, neither saying much

- “i’m glad he told us. the stories i mean”, dakota says when they’ve calmed down. “feels like he gave us little pieces of himself bit by bit that’ll never go away”

- “yeah... it really does” 

- when the war’s finally over, piper and dakota visit each other often, though piper’s the one who goes to cj more often since dakota’s a centurion and has his plate full most of the time

- they’re still as goofy and energetic around each other as ever, like the time they spent away from each other was like clicking pause on a movie and now they’ve hit play and continued on from there

- still hate being trapped indoors. when there’s camp meetings they both need to attend they just can’t help but joke around. everyone else dreads going to those now thanks to these idiots

- dakota isn’t as chaotic as piper so he somewhat helps to keep that side of her in check

- when leo accompanies her during her visits though... no point in even trying to hold back this Mess, dakota’s tried before and it was the most stressful and tiring day of his fucking life

- piper constantly teases dakota about his crush on her half-brother michael. he very much regrets the day she ever saw how he acted around the son of venus (a blushy neck scratching mess)

- wow this is getting long fhdkds anyway!! they’re amazing kids who love each other to death and constantly support each other through good and bad times, and they’re proud af to be cherokee and they’ll treasure their beloved grandpa tom and his teachings till the end of their lives, and if anyone ever wants to hear a story, they’re the right kids to go to!

during  the  solomon’s  dynasty  ,   the  family  had  its  fair  share  of  tumbles  and  quite  a  few  scandals  .  great  uncle  abel being  arrested  after  trying  to  steal  half  his  brother’s  fortune  was  one   was  a  big  example .  may  god  bless  the traitous  bastard’s  soul  .  also  cousin  denzel  ,  declaring   in  the  middle  of  thanksgiving  dinner  he  wanted  to  be  a  opera  singer  ,  of  all  fucking  things  ,  and  giving grandpa  harrison  an  almost  stroke  ,  could  be  counted  .  no  matter  what  ,  though  ,  nothing  prepared  the  family  to  watch  the  solomon  fortune’s  heiress  coming  home  on  her  christmas  break  during  her  freshman  year  in  college  with  a  baby  bump  and  no  father  to  claim  the  child  she  carried  . 

in  the  following  years  ,  with  the  slightly  judgemental  help  of  all  of  her  closest  relatives  ,  but  most  of  all  ,  the  never  ending  support  of  her  parents  ,  gaia  solomon  managed  not  only  to  get  her  college  diploma  ,  enter  the  family  business   and  help  solo  grow  into  the  biggest  media  conglomerate  of  the  western  hemisphere  ,  one  that  had  a  solid  hand  over  pretty  much  all  aspects  of  media  and  entertainment  .  chances  are  if  you  wanted  to  publish  or  sign  a  record  label  deal  or  be  on  a  tv  show  ,  sooner  or  later  you  would  encounter  someone  from  solo  .  but   she  had  also  manage  to  raise  with  the  utmost  love  and  care  ,  no  lack  of  sacrifices  ,  and  a  healthy  amount  of  ear-pulling  ,  a  man  she  can’t  help  to  be  most  proud  of  .

andre  solomon  never  knew  who  his  father  was  ,  or  cared  to .  and  as  far  as  his  mother  was  concerned  ,  he  didn’t  have  a  father .  as  a  child  ,  he  never  felt  like  he  was  missing  anything  in  life  ,  there  was  no  angry  void  aching  to  be  filled  ,  no  painful  moments  to  remember  his  childhood  by  .  he  had  been  happy .   no  matter  how  busy  his  mom  was  ,  she  was  always  loving  and  attentive  whenever she  was  around  ,  played  baseball and  football  and  soccer  with  him  whenever  he  asked  her  to  ,  and  grandpa  harrison  was  always  available  if  the  boy  ever  needed  a  guy  figure  in  his  life .  of  course  ,  there  were  some  bumps  and  bruises  along  the  way  ,  and  a  pinky  finger  he  never  fully  got  the  feeling  back  , but  it  was  a  beautiful  ,  fulfilling  childhood  .

as  a  teenager  ,  recently  acquainted  with  a  never  seen  before  freedom  ,  and  just  out  of  puberty  ,  andre  grew  more  acquainted  with  getting  in  trouble  .  thankfully  ,  nothing  like  cousin  gina  , who  had  to  cut  off  a  part  of  her  ear  after  piercing  it  by  herself  with  her  tenth  grade  friends  .  while  rambunctious  and  mischievous  ,  he  was  always  to  smart  to  get  caught  doing  something  that  could  get  him  in  any  kind  of  real  trouble  ,  and  by  then  ,  the  family  knew  that  they  could  trust  andre  to  not  be  too  irresponsible  ,  and  even  if  they  didn’t  ,  at  least  he  had  both  ears  intact  .

 a  full  grown  adult  ,  after  getting  his  marketing  degree in  northwestern  university  ,  andre  followed  his  mother’s  footsteps  and  worked  hard  to  climb  the  organizational   ladder  and  reach  the  cco  position ,  becoming  one  of  his  grandfather’s   valued  advisors  along  the  way  .  these  days  ,  he  works  hard  to  keep  his  image  clean  and  his  professional  life  very  well  separated  from  his  private  one  ,  being  very  succesful  at  it  thus  far  .

andre can  definitely  be  considered  a  little bit   too  cocky  in  his  confidence  .  he  knows  his  strengths  and  doesn’t  believe  in  fake  humility  ,  always  eager  to  be  praised  by  whatever  actions  .  also  very  focused  ,  he  feels  as  if  he  knows  exactly  what  he  deserves  in  all  aspects  of  his  life  ,  and  doesn’t  hesitate  to  work  for  it  until  he’s  satisfied .

he  is also  ,  however  ,  a  very  fun  loving  individual  .  andre  believes  in  the  motto  work  hard  ,  play  hard  .  and  you  can  definitely  find  him  going  on  expensive  trips  to  exotic  locations  or   some  rich  person  adventure  more  often  that  he’d  like  to  admit  .  is  constantly  surrounded  by  a-list  celebrities  or  clout  chasers  who  attach  to  him  due  to  his  connections  into  the  industry  .  and  as  being  the   center  of  attention   is  one  of  his  favorite  things  ,  he  absolutely  adores  it  .

MTV The Challenge 34, ep. 5 recap

I wanted to post many little snippets as usual, but I watched with a friend and couldn’t pause the ep.

Now I’m too tired to parse this one huge note I made, so I’m gonna recap the highlights of this ep in points.

1. ‘Don’t play Paulie’s game, play your own game Josh’ (c) Johnny Bananas. Kind of hypocritical to say that, because by saying that you’re essentially manipulating him into playing YOUR game. It’s nothing new because this is how this game IS PLAYED. In fact it is A GAME, so this tactic is, in fact, is a GOOD game tactic. However, if Josh doesn’t understand he’s being played, he’s got no brainsells whatsoever.

2. This is basically a verbal tug-of-war between Johnny/Paulie and Josh is like a rope between them. It’s hilarious, but at the same time I feel so bad for the poor boy, he looks like he’s gonna explode 😬😬😬

3. I remember how in the very beginning when Bananas tried to recruit Zach, the latter literally screamed how he wants to stay out of huge scandals and play his own game. (Considering his constant shif talk behind ppls’ backs, he’s not doing a very good job). He was recruited anyway to be Bananas’ cannon fodder. Supposedly, Zach is not in Bananas’ alliance now after his shady business with Wes last season? So, he’s basically now on his own, it’s what he wanted since the very beginning. But at the end of the day, when it comes to voting and plotting, he is STILL one of Bananas’ votes. I really wanna bet how long Zach will last until he becomes Johnny’s bitch again.

4. Zach belittling Ninja. Zach belittling a woman. What’s fucking new. Sometimes I imagine picking up a very dirty sock and shoving it down his throat until he chokes 🙄

5. Let’s again ‘assume’ that someone should be THE BEST at certain things, or better AT EVERYTHING, and drag them through the mud for that. A.k.a. everyone against TURBO OF ALL PEOPLE. The literal beast and cinnamon roll all in one package. He is not SUPPOSED to be a superhuman and be perfect at EVERYTHING. It’s funny to see how mediocre people (read between the lines: Zach) are degrading him for doing THIS ONE THING decently, but not excellent. Or Tori screaming at Turbo, like you’re good, but not that good, so shut the fuck up. Or Jordan. I genuinely like Jordan most of the time, but we all KNOW that you are in Top 3 best swimmers on the Challenge and this man you’re making jokes about is swimming long distance for the first time in his life. As any physical activity it takes TRAINING to be the best at something. Don’t tell me you were miraculously granted the gift of swimming like a dolphin the first time your body touched the water. It doesn’t happen like that. So, please, kindly. Shut it.

6. Bear gloating about ‘smoking’ Leroy in swimming Challenge is honestly is one of the most pathetic things I’ve ever seen. Like, Leroy several times pointed out that he is not a good swimmer. In fact, on the first few Challenges he didn’t even know HOW to swim and even made jokes about learning swimming by watching videos on YouTube. It’s not like Leroy of all people would be so hard to beat in a Challenge that involves mostly moving through water. If anything, I would like to point out how fucking PROUD I am of Leroy actually keeping up with Bear! The man is doing good, he really does care and prepares himself for these things.

7. Is it a shock? I honestly would have been surprised if Jordan hadn’t won. As I already said, he’s up in the Top 3 swimmers, after all.

8. I wish Wes was still around SO BAD. Both in general, AND for this Challenge. I LIVE for Wes + water challenges. It’s also so hot how he almost never wears lifesaving jacket in those. Ugh, love this man. Miss him so much💔 At least, we’ve been blessed with one water Challenge + Wes this season 🙏🏻

9. Wtf? I thought it was obvious UK won?!?!?!?! How come USA are still on top after fucking up so greatly?

10. Cara’s ex-friends: ‘Paulie is bad and toxic for you. You’re not you around him. He maipulates you. You’ve changed for worst’.

19. Laurel looses to a technicality. Bananas looses to a technicality. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not upset about them leaving. This trope is just getting old.

22. I would have wanted Johnny to stay just to see him switch teams.

23. Bananas wanted to win for Leroy? Don’t make me laugh. You’re trying to win for MONEY. They all are. Let’s at least be honest about that. Also it is quite insulting to Leroy. Bananas literally implied that without him Leroy won’t make it to the final. Not that it’s completely untrue, but Leroy’s always been a good competitor, I just think he doesn’t put serious effort into the game, that’s all.

JUST FOR FUNSIES, bear with me. if any of them was to come out (in a Grand Gesture Way, not “those are just rumours” way, like getting photographed with someone who’s not the other one), especially while trying to release their first solo album, the other would automatically get asked about that. automatically. (and what if one them wanted to be out, but the other wouldn’t, and wouldn’t want to be Dragged into a public coming out?) and not only them! look at all the journalists still pressing members of 1d for quotes on the hiatus and on zayn (and other things! like them asking louis about the dirt on liam and naomi, for example) /three years/ after the disband, while all of them are currently trying to make their name for themselves, and two of them don’t even have proper solo albums out yet. so the other 2 (3) band members would absolutely get asked about that, too, and then also about other stuff. because if someone was being closeted while in 1d, what were the other Dirty Secrets? journalists would go hard after substance abuse especially (in zayn’s case most of all). now let’s all remember that thanks to those leaked “got talent” (i think?) contracts we know that simon cowell makes ppl sign the clause about /anyone in the fucking solar system/ not being allowed to say /any/ bad thing about him.

tl;dr if at least one of the members of 1d is closeted, it’s not wild to assume that they have to think about not only themselves, but also 3 (4) other people if they were to make A Big Deal out of coming out of said closet. (i obviously want to add that they don’t owe anyone shit, and that coming out should never be an obligation for /any/ celeb). i think harry is in the easiest position if he is indeed “only” bisexual, not “fully” gay. he can go with “yeah i knew i liked boys even while being in the band, but dated all of those girls for real because i do also like girls, and the other band members were supportive”, which wouldn’t necessarily spark too many angry takes about Injustice of Having Been Closeted (because he does like girls too, bless him!) and make people inquire about Other Things That Might Have Been Covered Up during that time. 

but tl;dr literally no matter what you believe in, this situation is so complicated that it makes me lose my mind a little whenever i try to consider it from /any/ goddamn angle. r i p.

Outside the members of LOTUS were laughing and joking around to cheer up Ximena.

“Real shit tho Ximena, you gotta chill out. I know shit’s not ideal but we’re here for 2 months so you need to suck it up.” Tasia said.

“You’re right. I can’t let his annoying ass get under my skin.” Ximena said.

“Yeah now let’s go inside and help with dinner before the guys burn the damn house down.” Yeona said. As the girls started to head inside, Sienna felt her phone vibrate and saw that it was a text from Mark.

“Who was it?” Yeona asked.

“It was Mark. He was telling me to stop by his room later tonight.” Sienna said.

“Excuse me?! You’re going to his room. Girl you getting some dick tonight!” Tasia said. The girls laughed as they made their way into the house. They noticed the table was set and Areum was putting the finishing touches on some spaghetti bolognese.

“This actually looks amazing.” Sienna said. Areum looked at her as she set the rest of the food, including salad and bread rolls on the table.

“Thanks.” Areum replied. She took a seat and began passing out the rolls. The other members looked at each other and Sienna rolled her eyes in Areum’s directions.

“If this bitch don’t stop disrespecting me Imma throat check her ass.” Sienna whispered to Ximena.

“Look let’s just get through the first day.” Ximena said.

After dinner Yeona, Yugyeom, BamBam. Youngjae and Ximena all sat in the living room chatting while all the older members cleaned and straightened up.

“Well it’s nice of them to help out.” Areum said.

“Oh hush. They’re the maknaes, let them be.” Tasia said.

“Yeona isn’t even a maknae.” Areum grumbled.

“AND?! She’s the main one who keeps Ximena out of trouble so if she wants to relax with her best friend then so be it.” Sienna said.

“I was talking to Tasia.” Areum said.

“And bitch I’m talking to YOU!” Sienna’s volume increased as she put emphasis on “you,” causing everyone to look in her direction.

“I think I misheard you because I KNOW you didn’t just say you were talking to me.” Areum said as she walked closer to Sienna.

“Well babygirl maybe you should get your damn ears checked cuz that’s exactly what the fuck I said.” Sienna replied. As both girls got in each other’s face Jinyoung called for everyone to go to their rooms while he finished cleaning up the kitchen. Mark already started to pull Sienna away from Areum while Yugyeom stood in front of Areum to hold her back.

“Hey I’ll help you clean up, I’m wide awake now.” Ximena said. Jinyoung looked at her and nodded his head, indicating that he appreciates her help. Before heading to her room, Tasia stopped to talk to Jinyoung.

“Don’t think I didn’t see how much you were looking at Ximena during dinner. I know you’re feeling her and you have our blessing but don’t fuck it up Jinyoung. She’s our maknae and we’ll kick your ass if you fuck over her.” Tasia said. She smiled then walked to her room. Jinyoung swallowed hard and turned back to the dishes in the sink.

“So what was that all about?” Ximena asked.

“Oh um Tasi-Oh you meant with Sienna and Areum.” Jinyoung said.

“Yeaaah that. What were you gonna say?” Ximena asked, interest piqued.

“Oh nothing. But yeah I guess Sienna just got tired of Areum being so short with her. I mean she has been rude as hell all day.” Jinyoung replied.

“Yeah she really has. All over something that has NOTHING to do with her. She’s a bitch and I’m over it. Oh and thank you.” Ximena said.

“For what exactly?” Jinyoung asked.

“BamBam said you threatened to kick his ass if he irritates me again while we’re staying here. So again, thank you.” Ximena said.

“I know you can handle yourself but I just thought I could help out.” Jinyoung said.

“It was greatly appreciated.” Ximena said.

“You know, if you get tired of sharing a room with BamBam, you could always come sleep in my bed.” Jinyoung said.

“Depends. Will there be touching involved?” Ximena asked.

“We’ll see.” Jinyoung answered. He walked past her and walked to his room. She heard the door shut then slid down to the floor and chuckled to herself. She knew this was gonna be a wild ass 2 months.

Back in her room Sienna was looking through her bags for her pjs when JB tapped her on her shoulder.

“Yes JB?” Sienna sighed.

“You good? You still seemed tense.” JB said.

“I’m good I just need to shower and relax. Thank you for asking.” Sienna said. She gathered all of her bathroom essentials and headed to their shared bathroom to shower. JB watched her and smiled to himself. Maybe sharing a room won’t be so bad after all.

Sienna looked at herself in the mirror. She saw bags under her eyes and realized she needed some serious rest. She started the shower and as it got hotter, she stripped out of her clothes. As soon as the hot water touched her skin, Sienna melted. She didn’t know how desperately she needed this but it felt so good. After what felt like forever, Sienna finally got out of the shower. She did her nightly skincare routine then took care of her hair. After thoroughly moisturizing her hair she put her hair in a few flat twists and secured them with her bonnet. She walked out of the bathroom wearing a green, satin tank and short set, which made JB do a double take as she was putting her things away.

“You look good.” JB said. Sienna looked at him confused as hell.

“Are you okay JB? You’ve been an asshole to me for the past few months and we get here and you’ve done nothing but flirt with me. What’s really going on?” Sienna asked.

“I’m just trying to make the best out of a shitty situation. Trust me if I could have stayed back at the dorms I would have.” JB said.

“And your back to being an asshole. Goodnight Jaebum.” Sienna said as she walk out of the room. When she got to Mark’s door to knocked lightly and when he finally opened the door she saw he was shirtless.

“Took you long enough. You’re lucky I’m still up.” Mark said. He gave her a slight smirk.

“I needed a hot shower to calm me down. I can’t believe I let Areum get me outta character.” Sienna said as she next to him on his bed.

“Yeah all the time I’ve known you, you’ve never gotten that mad before.” Mark said.

“Yeah well some ppl bring it out of you. But enough about that. You wanted to talk?” She asked.

“About that shit you said, it hurt, but at the same time whether or not you meant it, I can’t really fault you. What you said wasn’t as bad as what JB said. At least you weren’t racist.” Mark said.

“That doesn’t excuse what I said. I’m sorry. That wasn’t cool and I embarrassed you guys and yall really didn’t deserve that.” Sienna replied.

“It’s all good. Plus the other members don’t really care.” Mark said.

“Thanks for hearing me out.” Sienna said. She stood and was about to leave when Mark pulled her arm, causing her to fall on top of him.

“That’s not all I wanted to talk to you about.” Mark said. He pulled Sienna closer to him and planted a short, sweet kiss on her lips.

“Mark…..” Sienna whispered against his lips. Mark trailed his left hand down her back and to her ass, using his hand to give her a tight squeeze, eliciting a moan that was music to his ears.

“I need you to be a bit more quiet. We don’t want to disturb the other now do we?” Mark said. Before she could give him an answer, Mark attached their lips once more, this time with more passion.

and on both of his sides were two men who looked very uninterested in him

you excused your friends and went closest to the 3 males

you were going to sit closest to the cackling boy in any way possible

and it came to you being right behind the tallest of the 3

you all boarded the ride, each row holding 4 ppl

you were lucky that you were in the same row as the 3

the operator started the ride

and you sucked in a huge breath

and you started screaming for dear life when you started to swing down

don’t get me wrong you love this ride

and you hear this really really really loud scream in your head and in your ear

and your eyes widened

and not bc of the ride

you were still screaming btw as you realized it

and looked to your right to see his face

this scene was really comedic

especially if u played it in slow-mo bc he was looking at you already with his mouth wide open

and he was screaming too

you tried your best to smile while screaming

my favorite fake maknae…mister babie..something i find very unique abt him is even tho he was supposed to be the leader   he also has a lot of youthful naive charm that matches more of a Follower type of personality. like while we saw him be a leader in no mercy, and he did an excellent job esp with gun being covered up for his lack of dancing skill, i think that is a very unnatural state of being for him, and he exerts an unfortunate amount of energy trying to lead others. he has the skills necessary but i think he overextends himself to employ them. his natural state of being is more of a follower in that that’s where he’s more comfortable. he stresses too much about keeping everybody happy at once and takes too much responsibility. he’s naturally a workaholic and sacrifices his health for the sake of work. 

so honestly i’m really glad he didnt end up being the leader and i’ll get more into leder shownu later :D but i take it as a blessing that he’s allowed to take more of a backseat and speak up when he wants to rather than always being in charge. tbh wonho is kinda Out Of It all the time and while i think if he was a leader he’d fight to stay in the moment i think he needs that time in his head to decompress. tbh it’s really funny that he cld have been the leader to me in no malicious way just bc he’s never There askfjasf like when minhyuk said he always needs to go looking for him bc he just wanders off and he’s getting coffee and he’s like what :D and he needs extra explanations and stuff all the time and minhyuk n the others need to direct him in what he’s doing all the time. 

that’s why i said the fake maknae thing bc in many ways he has a really youthful kind of innocence to him like just a silly child. like when ck took the glass away from him at the awards show so he wouldnt break it kasfjsa and then the bottle   like a big brother would do  and wonho was like :/ okay…and wiping his tears. we rly see a shift from him as a Hyung to someone who the others end up taking care of in a very natural way. there’s a big reverse dynamic there, in particular with him and changkyun. which is rly interesting! changkyun kind of steps up to be more mature in situations with him. it’s really cute…

when i think of wonho in the position of a hyung, i think it’s in a non traditional way. when i think of him i think of light blue and him being a Healer. he is a big reminder to stay in touch with your emotions and feel them. at the taiwan concert…i believe at least! that it was that one…when everyone was holding back their tears wonho was like just cry!! to hw in particular he said that there were a ton of people there to hug him and support him when he cried so he should just do it so he didn’t regret it later, and he has a very nurturing heart. he makes this one face…it’s like a mix of a pout n a sad smile?? when he pities another member…it’s a very gentle and empathic facial expression…i’m not used to seeing men make that face. 

so i think he DOES offer a form of guidance/wisdom as an older member but it’s not in a structural way if that makes sense like minhyuk saying “walk over here” or ordering them around it’s like a Healing presence..a calm spirit to offer Peace and Serenity. being in touch with his emotions i feel also creates an openness within the group where they feel better about expressing themselves, at the very least bc they cld use him as a scapegoat, which i dont think he’d mind. like wonho cried first!!!

part of his openness with his emotions is what makes him seem childish not in an unlikable way but rather…like he never got that Hard adult shell that makes people fear expressing themselves and their true thoughts. when he is happy he is brightly adorably happy he’s literally :DD just delighted and that brings out protective instincts in those who are around him which is another part of why he’s a fake maknae 2 me…he gets teased like everyone else but i dont think anybody cld have the heart 2 be mean to him his eyes are just too sparklie…also his LAUGH…is so loud and genuine and beautiful and it makes me feel such joy and it makes the others happy too  nothing is really funny to me until wonho laughs that’s like the official comedy stamp his :D smile n HAHAHAHA laugh  n his wheeze

he’s also really stubborn like a child which i find endearing but i know cld be frustrating sometimes but i find it funny askfjas he’s a baby…he asks for opinions n then doesnt care bc he already made his mind LMAO

he is also!! just so so full of LOVE. his heart is so big…he loves his family and monbebes and his members and he’s so transparent about it and it’s absolutely precious. he radiates love and puts a very beautiful calming blue energy into the world and everything about him is very gentle like body language wise. he speaks very softly even though he’s Loud sometimes the words come out soft if that makes sense. the way they are pronounced in spite of volume. he doesn’t spit out words and i think that’s kind of why he stutters so much they’re so soft n undefined they blend into each other. they need more shape…but he also holds things gently and doesn’t exert a lot of pressure in his fingertips. he’s very cautious and not aggressive and is not prone to anger, though he can get frustrated.

i really thank him for his honesty with fans abt how he’s feeling etc bc i think it creates a very nice friend like relationship. he rly cares abt keeping up updated and it’s so precious i feel genuinely cared for lmao…i literally take care of myself sometimes bc of his tweets like dont forget to eat etc and that’s so special

there’s more things i cant think of right now but u know…i cld happily do this forever but MISTER SHOWNU…ur time to shine (forever…)

NOW…shownu is the official leader which is also unique because nothing about shownu besides perhaps his powerful body commands Leadership our eyes are drawn to him because of this quiet power he exudes but he doesn’t have that dominant personality type in fact i find him a very passive person he’s not fussy at all and seems to value group harmony over his own personal feelings

i think sometimes being a leader is burdensome to him for the reason that he has more of a quiet let things happen personality but that’s what’s interesting. the members don’t respect him because he Commands their attention. they follow him instead rather bc they just respect him and Know he’s the leader. 

even though leadership doesn’t come naturally to him in the traditional sense and minhyuk often assists or does more tradition leader things and has to remind him to speak, he has a whole different form of leadership where he’s quiet but when he Does say something everyone just respects it and doesn’t question it. i feel ppl follow him out of respect and affection rather than anything like intimidation if that makes sense. they just look up to him and admire him and respect his wishes. 

he was a leader during no mercy and ppl followed him without question mostly. he’s really good at having a friendly personality but still making sure people focus during dance practice. ppl might think this form of passive leadership is bad but i think there’s no need for him to interject generally bc mx flows very well with their dynamic and doesn’t need to get adjusted much. he also imo has kihyun and minhyuk as co-leaders which happened naturally and not out of his inability to lead efficiently, so i think if he’s lacking in any way, they’re there to cover that up and i think this also helps remove stress from him.

shownu is also just so likable!! on running man they said when ppl dont talk much, strangely you want to pay more attention to them and i think that’s happened to shownu his whole life. people are watching him without knowing and then when he speaks they’re so pleasantly surprised because he’s so funny and most of it is said in such a flat way, like deadpan humor. he’s a comedy genius because what he says is so unexpected most of the time but also so powerful. if shownu said like…”legs” i’d pee myself laughing bc something abt him is so fucking funny and endearing and goofy and HIS laugh itself makes me laugh too like …he invented comedy lmfao he’s absolutely not boring that’s a misunderstanding of his personality  he definitely needs to get comfortable somewhere before his real personality is revealed but he’s gotten a lot better at that which is why he’s been advancing through variety and im so proud of him for that and impressed

also adding to him being so endearing the members just genuinely adore him and i think when he went to law of the jungle a taxi took him to the location and ck said to the cab driver “take care of him/drive safely” which is very sweet and just shows like the Depth of their affection for him. everything he does the members just find so cool and funny and endearing and he brings them a lot of happiness

he’s also such a good fit for the group because he’s so CHILL like minhyuk cld be gnawing jooheon’s leg off while wonho fights changkyun over a piece of shrimp and hyungwon is getting dusted by kihyun and shownu’s like :) i love my family and HE LOVES THEM SO MUCH LMAO like he genuinely adores his members and you can feel that too like not even just things like him giving up lines (hw in beautiful) or splitting his commercial earnings among his team which he didnt even want kh to say but he imagines himself doing things with them in the future like going on trips and he really sees them as his friends/family rather than coworkers and it’s so lovely and beautiful he’s just so goddamn fond of them lol

also hyung line with each OTHER is so precious bc wonho is rly like a little happy kid around shownu n shownu is so calm n chill and wonho is like :DD hello!!! n shownu pretends he doesnt care asjfsafj  it’s so funny wonho is just going around hoping for shownu’s love like he said in that fansign note n shownu ignores him n teases him asfkjasf it’s so cute when shownu teases it’s so funny it rly shows just how fond he is and shownu always laughs when wonho laughs and humors him?? and by humors him i mean wonho babbles a lot n makes little silly side comments and if shownu is within hearing distance he always tries to reply to those and he makes wonho giggle and it’s precious and he listens and shownu just really Understands the member’s personalities like when he said he likes when mh talks a lot etc he understands them and just doesn’t want them to change bc he loves the way they are like i kno that sounds fake deep but it’s true…

wonho is just so cute…n youthful around shownu i love the dynamic it’s amazing how similar they are in age like a year apart n yet wonho seems so young around him and shownu just teases him n theyve known each other for a long time n are so comfortable with each other n they work out together like…we love strong muscle men with hearts of gold …also this is just random but wonho pronounces “shownu” so cute n also i love hearing shownu say hoseokie like it’s just adorable shownu always calls the memebrs by their real names n fogets to say the stage ones like   who is even calling changkyun “I.M.” at this point   who is that….

Basically my hubby took out insurance about 10 months ago with a new insurance company. He had 4 years no claims with his old company so informed the new company of this. The new insurance company have been taking out the payments every month from our bank however we have never had his insurance documents off them. Lauren!!!! I ran into your website through google images, and you have officially persuaded me back into the relaxer life. I’ve been trying to go natural for almost a year and I absolutely hate it. Every single thing you said is what has been happening to me daily. I work as a receptionist and I feel like it makes me look completely unprofessional when my hair gets all poofy and sticks up. I haaate it! I’m going to do go buy Dr. Miracles tonight!!!!!

My hair was far more heat protected and healthier when I was relaxing it. Even so I only relaxed maybe 3 times a year so I had a good thing going. I don’t know what I was thinking. I honestly just wanted my hair to be fuller and just have a wave when I got it wet. I wasn’t even going natural for the right reasons, I had no dedication whatsoever.

The good thing is I DID get a lot of growth during this 10 month period, about 4 ½ inches. So I’m just excited to relax it out lol. THANK YOU LAUREN!

Adore this post so much. I thought i was the only one who had those issues. The really bad breakouts, detangling and my nape area was a nightmare. I just choose a week ago after a 4 month strech to do what i do best and rock my relaxed hair. Idk why its so shamed up on to get relaxer like its an abomination or something. i agree with you my intent was not quite to go natural but to do long stretches like either only relax once or twice a year… sigh,,, I just brought a relaxer today to use later,,, last time i relaxed was december 2015… but by april it’s been..sigh.. horrible the dryness from the new growth and i’ve spent more money the past 6 mos. i ever have than when I was relaxed… when i was relaxed all i used was a lil oil sheen and maybe occasional dab of oil moisturizer lotion,, didn’t need nothing else. ,, but since trying to make my stretch last a full year,,, i see i can’t go natural.. and my texture is 3b/some 3c and it was still a living hell!

Oh my goodness! You don’t know how much this blessed and inspired me in my hair life! Out of all of my friends, and family, I’m pretty much the only one who gets relaxers!! No one else gets them anymore and I’m talking about dozens of people that I know! The only time a relaxer did me damage was when the Rio perm was advertised backing the mid 1990’s and Debbie Allen and other celebrities were testing the product out by eating it, testing it out on their own heads, etc!! I was 6 years old with beautiful relaxed hair and the Rio perm was put on by my mom and she regretted placing it on my head to this day! That was 21 years ago, I am now 27 and within minutes my hair and scalp was burning from the bad Rio product. Anywho there was a class action lawsuit and most people that filed with pictures only received $97 for the poor relaxed product. Why did my mom try it? Because the celebrities were acting as it was safe! Until then my mom always put PCJ on my hair and she always got compliments on my hair. Before she used PCJ, she tried placing the hot comb method on my hair but it would kink up and be back to the coarse nappy look in a few days after straightened (and this is way before a relaxer even touched my head) so as ppl always say everyone has a good curl pattern when they were younger, nope that was never the case for me it’s always been coarse and thick due to the grate of hair that my parents have. But after the Rio incident, my mom restored my hair by putting protective styles and treating it with the right products. I also have used various beauticians to treat my hair with appropriate relaxers and styles. During my college years it was hard to afford the beauty shop so I had a olive oil relaxer or kiddie relaxer on my hair which it still grew! I have no problems with relaxers, I usually go 8 weeks or 10 weeks to get another relaxer. So many black women are against chemicals and they fail to realize that they spend so much money on weaves and blowouts to get their hair straight like a relaxer until the price they pay for this stuff ends up being that standard $65 relaxer and style cost that professional beauticians charge!!!

I agree Lauren. To each their own. Some hair that grows naturally out of some heads is very thick, coily, and very hard to manage. And might I add, TIME CONSUMING. You can spend lots of $$ on products trying to keep the hair conditioned, softened and tameable and it adds up. But some people like to wear their hair dry so they costs for products may not be a big deal. Again, I like what you say and I’m with you. I’ve only been natural 3 months, and I’m not quite liking it. I want my curl and waves but not bone straight so texlaxing is the best thing for me. When trying to get curl definition don’t u spent tons of cash buying curl defining creams and custards, then spend hours trying to do a twist out so you cud have more defined curls…. to me I feel that’s exactly the same thing. U are not satisfied with he way ur hair curls naturally and you feel the need to enhance its curl. If u wanna be truly natural stop twist outs and braid outs and all that is, because lets face facts your hair isn’t naturally like that.. just stick to a fro.. then u can come preach to me abt embracing the natural pattern with which hair comes out of he head.

Alan Gouze :) the name of the man that has had my heart for a quarter of my whole life!!! Wow, and he adores me even tho I am 100% a clumsy, forgetful, emotional HOT mess...I'm reading your letter and responding back as I go. Even though my feelings were a little hurt that you said I'd be sexier if I didn't get emotional, I understand. Alan I am a little mentally broke, but I'm different. And thankful for that. Bc even if depression, OCD, ADD, insomnia, all of my health problems, pain, overthinking overcasts me; I still shine. Tyler said something to me at Applebee's when I saw him. He told me that one day someone will come into my life and tell me that my hair, eyes & smile glow. I radiate in the sunshine, and I'll know what they mean by it when that day comes. I am so hard on myself but I've had a handful of people- strangers and close friends tell me this. And I know it's true. I know there is more to me than usual. I still smile, I still shine. And I thank fucking whatever god is out there that my glow stays. My friend Angel that did reiki on me told me I've been carrying something since I was a child and that's the reason for my anger.
