MV AGUSTA ECU UPDATE BRUTALE 800 RR VIDEO

Sehr viele haben meinen Blog zum Thema MV Agusta Blipper gelesen und mich kontaktiert. Damit ich endlich auch mal in bewegten Bildern aufzeigen kann, was ein Update der Abstimmung mit sich bringt und welche Vorteile sich an einer MV Agusta dadurch ergeben. Mein Video zum Thema findet ihr auf meinem Youtube-Kanal. Diesmal stand mir eine Brutale 800 RR Baujahr 2018 zur Verfügung und das gut funktionierende Motorrad wurde mit dem ECU-Update noch besser. Das bringt man in einem Video nur sehr schwer herüber. Die Empfindungen sind natürlich subjektiv und am besten spürbar, wenn man auf dem Motorrad sitzt, es vorher kannte und nach dem Update die Veränderung wahrnimmt.

Deshalb erwartet im Video keine Wunder aber ich habe mich bestmöglich bemüht und versuche viel zu erläutern und das ein oder andere Missverständnis auszuräumen, was mir in den vergangenen Jahren so an Post und Fragen zugetragen wurde.

Die merklichste Verbesserung betrifft zum einen den Durchzug vom Motor, der jetzt auch aus dem Drehzahlkeller willig anzieht und sich agiler anfühlt als zuvor. Zum anderen ist der Schaltautomat jetzt wesentlich besser abgestimmt, die Schaltvorgänge sind sehr harmonisch und mit nur ganz kurzen Unterbrechungen beim Hochschalten in höheren Drehzahlen. Das war vorher leider nicht der Fall und viele Schaltvorgänge liefen mit einem kleinen Rucken ab. Alles in allem bieten diese kleinen Detailverbesserungen einen nicht zu verachtenden Gewinn an Fahrspaß und Fahrfreude. Die war natürlich vorher schon hoch ist aber jetzt ganz weit an der Spitze angekommen. So sind zumindest meine Eindrücke und es bereitet mir immer wieder sehr viel Freude mit der quirligen MV Agusta Brutale RR durch die Gegend zu fahren.

If you're wondering why Gooey's grey, the context is that he's in that state where he's changing color after being away from his colony.

Imagine post LL25 crew ending up in the shattered glass universe, and they pick up an injured Roddy for whatever reason and because their universe Roddy had the same colors for a while they're not freaked out and are just like "Roddy!"

But then the SG!Roddy wakes up and acts all feral and they're like "EVIL RODDY!" and they have adventures and hijinks meeting the flipped versions of everyone, and megatron is just ecstatic to find a universe where he's not a homicidal dictator

So I thought that these two looked similar

[expvrgction] Now this wasn't the world the Doom Slayer wanted to go to, but at least the environment was familiar enough for him.

He wasn't too far from the nearest settlement, but inhabitants there are alien to him. At least he could see some Waddle Dees going about their day, some enjoying life on the beach, but the others? None whom he had met before.

The armored man stood there silently, unsure if it would be wise to approach these beings-- He wasn't the most social man nowadays, couple that with the thought of there being those protective of their land.

But there were a lot of things he needed to know.

At first, the waddle dees seemed blissfully unaware of the foreign soldier's presence. However, over time, they started eyeing him curiously and whispering to each other. Some of the wild beasts also watched, hidden within the greenery. It was difficult to tell if any of them knew of him from Dream Land, but at least they didn't look apprehensive (yet).

The two unrecognizable beings in question appeared to be sitting in the grass, a large tub of water in front of them. The fuzzier one watched as the more colorful one tied a string to a small branch. Then, a magnet was attached to the other end of the line.

"Alright, now let's see if I can make this work..."

Scattered about was a collection of tiny fish-shaped metal toys. The jester picked one up, stared at it intently, and snapped his fingers. Suddenly, the toy began to violently wriggle in his hand, as though it were a real aquatic creature, and slipped into the tub with a splash! He then proceeded to do the same with the other toys until they were all swimming about in the tub, a makeshift miniature pond. It was a fairly simple animation spell, but effective for what it was needed for.

"There you go, Elfie! Now you can finally have your own fishing fun!"

"Whoaaa! This is so cool! Thank you~!"

The rodent fluttered about like an ecstatic butterfly before taking the pretend rod and practicing his casting. It was only then that his friend noticed the Doom Slayer standing in the distance. He froze, his smile fading as he tried to determine if they were in danger or not. That armor and weaponry looked...pretty threatening...

"Hello?" he called out, cautiously floating forward, "...Can I help you?"

Fish Bones are—hey! We’ve already talked about you, and very recently at that! We love you, Fish Bone, but it’s time to stop hogging the spotlight!

Name: Fishbone

Debut: Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards

There we go!

It’s that funky fresh time of year where all the strange Mario creatures retract into their holes to make way for other, stranger beasts, and boy is Fishbone strange!

Fishbones are the reanimated skeletons of dead fish, and golly, what a great skeleton to have! Just three boomerang-shaped bones and two hollow eye sockets. No spine, no discernable jaws of any kind, just pure, abject salminimalism! I bet you wouldn’t even know these were bones if I didn’t tell you, and yet they still manage to evoke a fish skeleton so well!

But whose skeletons ARE they? While we don’t have any direct confirmation, it feels pretty likely to me that we have the skeletons of dear old Floppers on our hands! There’s a common fish enemy in most Kirby games called Blippers, but Blippers are entirely absent from Kirby 64, and Floppers are a lot thinner and pointier than them anyhow!

But even with that in mind…wow! This still only barely looks like it could be in a Flopper. Just a wonderfully abstract skeletal structure all around. And it only gets weirder from here!

There’s a reason for the peculiar shape of Fishbone’s head! Rather than hop or jump around like most water-based enemies, they shoot their skulls at Kirby for damage! (Don’t worry, it grows back!) Why, you may ask? Well, they provide the Cutter ability, which in Kirby 64 looks like this!:

Most underwater enemies in Kirby don’t give abilities, since Kirby typically can’t inhale while in water (understandable!). He can do this in Kirby 64, though! With them shooting their heads to attack and being fairly common, this makes Fishbones the most Cutterest enemy in the whole game, even more Cuttery than Sir Kibble himself!

They are, in fact, SO Cuttery that Miracle Matter’s embodiment of said ability looks a lot like Fishbones!

They STILL couldn’t get enough of Fishbone, though! If you inhale and carry it over your head, you can shoot its skulls yourself! Due to the way Cutter works, this is actually MORE ideal to use when you’re underwater, since using the ability makes Kirby sink!

Sadly, they reverted how Cutter works after this, and with Kirby going right back to spitting bubbles underwater, Fishbones didn’t stand a chance ): Despite its awesome design, it just joined the foray of thousands of other Kirby 64 enemies to never see the light of day again.

But who knows? Maybe it will appear in a future game, just like beloved Plugg, and grant the Cutter ability once more! After all, the Kirby franchise has finally started begrudgingly acknowledging that Kirby 64 did, in fact, exist.

And I think that any enemy that can say they could be combined with Ghost Knight to inexplicably let Kirby create a giant toothy maw out of his arms, deserves a second chance. :)

Before you ask, no, there’s no way Fishbones could come from the only OTHER bony fish in Kirby 64, Blowfish, either. As for why, let’s take a gander at the scrapped enemy Blowfishbone herself!

An account of that most famous of Lyran formations.

So here we is in the middle of a jungle doing a right fine sneakaroo around the flank of a big ol battle when we gets word we's coming up on none other than a Steiner scout lance. This gets us all aquiver, them mechy boys with the fear and us grunts with the joy. You see me lads, there's very little for a fine and clever battle armor jockey such as meself to fear from an Atlas in a jungle such as this. You see they is big and slow and like to get caught up in vines and bogs and such while we bound lickety split with our jumpyjoos and has ourselves a climb up a leg to say our friendly hellos. And if they spots us too early well, off we go whence we came, too nimble for a chase.

So there I is, having meself a sneak towards a sensory blipper when I spots a great big ol leg and I thinks to meself that it's time to play the tick. Now sadly this mech jockey ain't now clown and he spots me fine self and I see a turn and a bit of the old laser cuttin' through trees and I know it's me time to scamper, sos I does. Turn and burn and off I go never to be heard from again. Or so I thinks.

The bloke starts a followin at a dead speint and here's me burning the jets for all they're worth and bouncing off of tree trunks and landing on some kind of panther, the fleshy kind, at one point I thinks. And still this blighter is following, and not only following, but gaining ground. It ain't a minute before a big assault mech boot comes right down in front of me BOOM and I smacks right into it.

So I looks up at this towering doom above me and he looks down and damned me black soul if I'm lookin at an Atlas. No sir what's starin' me down as death hisself is a Zeus in his pretty white and blue.

While I am all stunned that behemoth raises up his right arm and points that murderous muzzle at me not three meters away and BAM! The world goes all white and my ears is ringing and I'm staring up at the sky from the bottom of a meter deep crater in the jungle floor.

Now I ain't too badly hurt, cept for me ears roarin cause it takes more than a pop from the old Defiance J to crack the venerable IS Standard, but I knows when I been beat and I hops on open comms and I says, "Pardon me sir, but I have learned me lesson and admit me mistake and I shan't be doin it again of that you can be most sure."

And what does he do after me most sincere and heartfelt apology but he brings up that beehive of a right hand of his, presses it down against me helpless chest, lets fly. I am beaten about most savage by long range missiles well within their minimum arming distance, them engines flaring and smashing themselves against me until I am left buried under several hundred kilos of broken missile and me with only a claw meant for ripping and gouging and a laser for burning and neither one too kind a prospect to dig meself out when I'm all covered in leaking rocket fuel and high explosive.

So don't let them tales of Atlases fool you, like. Some of them scouts is for real dangerous

Part 2/4

The portal to the New World is still open and much more stable, thanks to Elfilin. Adeleine takes a deep breath before entering the portal. Although time works differently in this world, it's night there too. “Luckyyyy, this makes sneaking around easier!” Adeleine is taking any positives to calm her nerves. 

Waddle Dee Town has expanded quite a bit since Kirby’s adventure here. It looks very different from the photos Kirby showed Adeleine. Opening up her map, she sees it was drawn up by some of the waddle dees using an old map they found depicting the New World’s former glory as a base. The one spot they didn’t really map out was… the Discovery Lab. Most of the waddle dees aren’t ready to go back there… She closes the map and heads towards the Natural Plains.

The gravel road turns to dirt and grass. Some of the building are being fixed up, turning them into a mixture of architect reminiscent of her original planet and the starry houses seeing in Dream Land. “Huh.” She stopped and stared. “It’s a bit like me… When did I stop seeing Shiver Star as my home? Dream Land, all of Popstar even has been my home for so long now.” She shakes her head. “This isn’t why I’m here.” With a new look of determination, she marches on.

Less and less buildings. The ground crunches under her shoes, sand! She reaches the Everybay Coast. The sun is starting to rise, reflecting beautiful colors onto the water. Adeleine runs out to the water. She dips her hand in the water; it’s not too cold. “Well it would be quicker to swim then to go around.” She jumps in. Squishies and blippers splash around. “I guess some of you preferred it here to Popstar, heehee.” 

A shadow appears in the water under her. “Ah–!” A gnawcodile splashes out of the water. “An alligator!?” She reaches for her paint brush. 

“Grrr…”

She points her brush at it. “... Oh! You’re part of the Beast Pack, right?”

The gnawcodile seems to nod. It motioned for Adeleine to get on.

“Are you offering me a ride? Thank you!” Adeleine hops on and they speed off.

“W-Whoa!” They sped by the sore line and weaved through currents, but eventually it stops at land. Adeleine hops off. “Thank you! This saved me so much time.” She waves goodbye as gnawcodile leaves. After a little more of a trek, she made it Wondaria Remains.

“Oh! This reminds me of that theme park Noir used to take me… I remembered he said mom and dad wanted to take us there before it closed…” She pauses. “I wish I remembered them better… I wish I asked Noir about them more often…” “If this works, then I still can. Please, let this work.”

The tile walkway has been washed and polished. A big stature with some mascot looking dogs, many planets, and a rocket looks to have a fresh coat of paint. There’s a nest on the top of the rocket with a white duck and some ducklings in it. “Awww.”

She walks up the stairs, a sign with a big “COMING SOON” posted on it in Popstarien. She then sees a peep board “‘Wish you were here’... Heh… If Noir was here, I would’ve asked for us to take a picture together. He would complain, ‘Come on, this is too cutesy for me.’ ‘But there’s two spots, I can’t do it alone!’ ‘Fine, fine, but next time it’s going to be you and Raquelle who’–” … “Raquelle…” Adeleine proceeds forward.

The waddle dees have been fixing up Wondaria. Adeleine has to step around loose cords and tools used for fixing up the rides. “Looks like Merry Magoland is going to have competition soon.” Some familiar Magoland stickers catch her eyes. “Or not.”

Many caution, ‘do not enter’ and ‘coming soon’ signs litter the rest Wondaria. Adeline decides it’s best to not poke around more than needed.

“Finally! The exit gates!” They are still a bit rusty, but luckily they open with little resistance. A cold breeze blows by. “A- A- CHOO!” She sniffles and pulls out the map. “Looks like I’m close to Winter Horns.”

She presses forward until reaching the snow. “A perfect blank canvas.” A few paintings later, Adeleine is bundled up, ready to take on the coldest of cold.
