Kisses and Bananas- Blitztrain

Alright, hope I did this properly! 'tis for @steelthroat from their comic of Astro and Blitz!

While some were put off by Blitzwing's fluctuations, with a few finding it hard to talk with them due to their split personalities; Astrotrain couldn't help but find it a bit endearing. Loving each side the other 'Con had.

On a night when the Decepticon troops were able to relax, Astrotrain thought it would be a nice treat to take a break at the nearby bar. Though, as the triple former entered, he didn't expect to see Blitzwing alone at the counter, nursing a shot. Seeing the frown on the other's lips, Astrotrain approached. "This seat taken?" He'd ask, voice low and gruff but holding a hint of gentleness.

Blitzwing only gave a grunt, motioning for Astrotrain to take the seat. He had just been chewed out for his 'hot-headedness' by Starscream so Blitz wasn't in the best of moods. To counter this, Astrotrain began to talk. The topics ranged but he'd occasionally manage to get a smile or a small, amused scoff out of Blitz. Slowly but surely, Astrotrain was able to get Blitzwing to relax; getting the other to let go of the tension in his frame.

As the two chatted, the shots continued coming, both of their speeches beginning to slur just slightly and making their laughter grow that much louder. As Blitzwing began to go on a ramble of what happened, Astrotrain moved unconsciously closer, taking a moment to admire the other triple former. Admiring how the grey and purple of his frame was highlighted by the bar's low lighting.

Continuing to listen, Astrotrain leaned against the counter, almost caging Blitzwing but still giving a little space for Blitzwing to move comfortably. The jet and tank triple former was aware of the shrinking space between him and Astrotrain but didn't comment. After all, he returned Astrotrain's feelings but was waiting for him to make the first move.

A few more shots later, and the space between them was practically nonexistent. With Blitzwing against the counter and Astrtrain in front of him, one hand holding his shot while the other rested on the bar counter. They could feel the buzz from their EM fields, feel the heat from the other's frames.

But as Astrotrain leaned in just slightly, his optics glancing between Blitzwing's lips and optics, the other spoke, catching Astrotrain off guard.

"Is that a banana?" Blitzwing asked softly, helm tilting to the side.

Stunned, Astrotrain had to take a moment to process the question. "Banana?" He'd ask, optics narrowing.

Blitzwing giggled softly before pointing at Astrotrain's crest on his helm, repeating 'banana' with a laugh. Realizing Blitzwing was tipsy, Astrotrain chuckled and shook his helm before paying the tab and picked up Blitzwing; carrying the other out of the bar. Perhaps he wouldn't be able to have that kiss, but he wasn't going to complain when he was able to help Blitwing through his inebriated state.

If I may ask, could I possibly write a lil story about the Blitztrain drawing you did where they had a few shots and Blitz asks about the banana shaped crest?

Soundscream’s my OTP??? what??? YEAH i love my collection of ships from good ships i had to salvage from bad content (ShockBlurr only comes to mind bc im constantly thinking about the meta behind it and shit hahhaa IM WEIRD) to rarepairs (FracSwipe, FulFireKaon) to ships that shouldnt be rarepairs but are anyways (SoundScream, BlitzTrain)but no i was shipping soundscream from day 1 of me getting into tf so where the hell did you get this idea

someone brought up bee/blitz/blurr and i’m so curious about it?? all they have in common is the fact that they can joke about shockwave/longarm?? and considering im too deep into my hypothetical tfa blitztrain or the concept of shockblurr but it’s ic is just why am i like this i didnt ask to be a multishipper but apparently tfa made me one

I headcanon Astrotrain and Blitzwing as Amecia Endura in every continutiy. Or however that is spelt. I also headcanon Astrotrain as ace.

Amicae endurae! And yeah Astrotrain and Blitzwing are bros. I tend to write ‘em as fuck buddies too, but, buddies first. 

I could see Astrotrain as ace though.
