Because, let me be honest, THIS SHIT HAS SOME OF THE BEST VOICE ACTING IVE HEARD IN YEARS!! I mean, yeah, the voice acting scene has been getting better and better as of late, especially with productions like the Owl House and Helluva Boss, but this!? This type of talent is on a whole other level! To be honest, I haven’t heard such amazing voice acting since The Owl House, and that ended a while ago! This? THIS IS THE KIND OF BEAUTY AND RAWNESS WE’RE TRULY LOOKING FOR.

Which brings me to my next point, THE UTTER AND RAW-ASS EMOTION IN THESE PERFORMANCES!?!? TOP NOTCH!!! BRO I CAN FEEL MY HEART BREAK EVERY SINGLE TIME I WATCH THIS, AND TRUST ME WHEN I SAY IVE SEEN IT ENOUGH TO WARRANT AN ASYLUM RESIDENCY. THIS SHIT IS LIKE DRUGS TO ME WITH HOW EMOTIONAL IT MAKES ME. To be fair, fandom comic dubs are not the most well-loved things on the internet. Just look at the 2 Vivziepop shows as examples. That shit has some weird comics piled onto its name… (Ew. Just ew.) Sonic fandom dubs are no exception.

I don’t know what to do.

It’s very late at night and I have school in the morning but I can’t sleep without getting this off my chest. I’m so sorry for the vent post, I might delete it later or maybe I’ll forget about it in a few days.

I just found out about what Wilbur Soot did to Shelby. I have never watched any of Wil’s streams, neither have I known very much about Shelby. The streaming community just kinda breezes past me. Don’t have the attention span for it. But I did used to watch nearly all of Wilbur’s YouTube videos when they came out, and the Tom Simon’s vlogs with him in them were/are my favorites of the bunch. I also like to listen to Lovejoy’s music when doing certain chores/tasks in the house.

Then I heard the news, and was promptly floored. And now, I just… I’m lost.

I fully support Shelby. I feel horrible about what happened to her and I do genuinely hope she gets the support and love that she truly deserves. None of this is on her. And when it comes to Wil’s behavior, it’s just not okay. At all. I don’t have any other words.

Right now, I feel sick about the whole situation. I’ve been looking up to Wilbur for 4 years straight, despite not watching any of his streams, and now all of that has just been hit by a brick of information in the direction of my head! Everything’s so messy and confusing right now concerning all this, and I genuinely don’t know what to do. I can’t talk to my family, they won’t understand and won’t sympathize at all. I can’t talk to my friends, they’ll call me cringe. I can’t talk to anyone, really. And I just really need to know how to go about this. I adore Lovejoy’s music, but despise Wilbur’s actions. I was happy for Tommy and Wilbur coming back together in a recent VOD, but now I just feel bad for Tommy.

A huge part of my world has just been shattered. That’s the best way to put it.

I am so sorry to everyone else who’s been affected by this. I’m terribly sorry to Shelby, to Wilbur’s friends, to those who looked up to him, to his band… Everyone.

I’m sorry for being so divided on this. I know it should be obvious, that I should just block everything related to Wilbur and move on, but I don’t see it that way. I’m sorry.

Alright. Here’s a giant IDW Silver analysis that has been quite a while in the making. Prepare yourself.

WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO I AM FINALLY GETTING TO THIS HUNK OF AN ANALYSIS AFTER PROBABLY A MONTH OR SO OF STALLING. For context, here’s the reblog where I mentioned I’d one day analyze Silver’s character in the IDW comics:

And now here is a disclaimer:

This is gonna be a huge, gigantic, mongo beast of an analysis! I don’t know how rushed the ending will be and I don’t know how many images will be included, because I took a lot, and I mean A LOT of screenshots! There is so much material to work with here, and I didn’t even include the annuals! So please, make yourself comfortable, grab a snack and some water, and enjoy the read! It’s most likely gonna be my longest one yet!

Oh and also there are gonna be some pretty big spoilers for the IDW Sonic comics so be sure to read it all before reading this. It’s all connected…

Now, without further ado, let’s get on with the show! Finally…!

Bruh. Before we even meet the guy, we can tell what kind of person Silver is. Before Sonic can land a hit on the robot, Silver cuts in, smashing the bot to pieces. And to me, the way he does it isn’t meant to be some basic way of taking out a badnik. When rereading the issue to get some good Silver material, I noticed how everything from the torso and onwards is smashed to pieces by Silver, whereas the rest of the robot is left just chilling on the ground. To me, this is Silver just neutralizing what is actually a threat, the blades, and taking notice of what is the threat and getting rid of it easily. First panel and we already see his perception skills in action!

We see more of it not too much later on in the issue when Sonic is pointing out what kind of powers were used to kill off the other badnik. Silver is leaning in closely, drinking in every words Sonic says, as if he’s learning some secret sensei technique or something! Silver is learning from Sonic about different wispon types and learning how to be more perceptive. Overall, Silver just likes to learn!

This part of his character makes a huge impact on himself as a whole! Silver is anything if not eager and naive, and that shows in a lot of what he does and the expressions he makes.

This is also where his admiration for Whisper comes into play. Silver adores Whisper at the start of his time in the comic, and aspires to be just like her as well as everyone else one day! She even saved his life! Why wouldn’t he wanna be like her?? All of this just shows how young and naive the white hedgehog is, and how much he truly doesn’t know. Silver doesn’t know how plants grow, he doesn’t know how people work, he doesn’t know anything! And this is where his obvious lack of social interaction comes in.

Silver spent a majority of his life without anyone to look up to. (Assuming the events of 06 did not take place and he really was on his own) He didn’t have any parents, no family, no friends, no home, nothing! The poor boy was completely on his own in a charred, desolate world full of nothing but despair. And throughout that time, he was almost helpless to stop it all. Silver knew there were still people out there in his time, knew there were people just trying to survive, and all he could do was take care of himself. He was starving, cold, and alone. No one came to save him because he could never save them.

This all grows inside Silver’s gut until it becomes just a big, ugly blob of loneliness. All his life, Silver desperately wanted, needed someone to be there for him, needed someone to hold him and tell him it’d all be okay. He needed a savior. So, to mask his insecurities, he finds saviors in Blaze, Sonic, and Whisper.

Yeah yeah, I know. Just shut up and we’ll get back to this in a moment.

All three of these characters saved Silver’s life at one point or another. Shadow did too technically, but we’re focusing on the IDW timeline here and Shadow hardly interacts with Silver in this comic so we won’t be talking much about him. ANYWHIZZLE, Silver holds these three in high regard, and looks up to them. He considers Blaze his first ever friend, (And as a Silvaze shipper I see them as an item) thinks of Sonic as a legendary hero, and sees Whisper as his Guardian Angel. All people whom he only knows due to his time traveling abilities. If he didn’t have the means to do time travel, he would never know these people and thus would never have any friends or family. He wouldn’t have any hope. And that’s why the connections Silver makes with others creates such a big part of his personality and it’s why he feels so “Off” in 06, because back in that nonexistent reality he only had Blaze. He had something, but it was hardly enough to keep him alive.

However, just like all of us, when you leave such insecurities to boil in your gut for such a long time, when you leave it to rot for so long, it eventually just kinda. Blows up on you. In your face. In front of everyone.

I don’t have many good examples without going into the next section so this is all you’ll get for now

Silver is a young, naive, complicated fool. He has so many things whirling around in his head all at once and it’s suffocating him. He doesn’t want to ruin anything for himself or for others, so he bottles everything up in hopes that it’ll all end up fine in the end. But when it does eventually explode on himself, he can’t help but make things worse for everyone else.

Take his short time with the Diamond Cutters, for example. He was dealing with a lot at the time, trying to juggle the stress of knowing his own time is safe while also wondering why he’s even back in the past. He doesn’t know what to do, and that all comes to a head when he suspects the worst about Duo. His suspicions are correct as we all know, but he doesn’t know that, and neither do the Diamond Cutters. He makes a mess of the Restoration HQ just to try and prove a point, which gets him booted from the team, and he can’t do anything afterwards except sulk in his garden.

In short, Silver tends to bottle up his emotions/problems until it all just explodes in his face and he then shuts down from all the intense feelings. He ends up confused, numb, and desperately needs guidance.

Now let’s move onto his power set, and OH BOY does this boy love to show off!

Silver is incredibly prideful in what he can do, and it most definitely shows when others praise him for it. However, there are some limits, and those limits are big!

Silver can only move things with his mind. It’s telekinesis, not pyrokinesis.

He needs to focus to be able to use his power.

He also has anxiety

Welp. As you can see those are all some very big limitations.

When you have powers that can only function when you are focused and know what you’re doing, and when they also only work when you can see what you’re focusing on, well… It doesn’t really help you very much when you’re best friend and idol is a super speedy hedgehog that can go at Mach 7 if he feels like it. Silver’s insecurities combined with his anxiety and auDHD AND his survival instincts… They don’t mix too well. Don’t get it twisted though, he is still a master and psychokinesis and he uses his power shockingly well considering those circumstances. He can do so much cool shit with just his brain alone and it is insane! However, he can’t just do anything with it.

Just like what he says here! Haha~!

It also provides an explanation for this.

Silver just wasn’t focused during this time and was probably holding his own against a pretty big army of badnik already, so he wasn’t prepared for this funky little guy. Simple.

Now, back to his insecurities because YES THERE’S MORE. OF COURSE THERE’S MORE. THIS BOYO LIVED THROUGH AN APOCALYPSE FOR LIKE 13-14 YEARS OF HIS LIFE. OF COURSE THERE’S GONNA BE MORE.

Considering all these limitations and how quickly and easily Silver can lose focus, and also considering how young and naive he is, it’s safe to say Silver just can’t compare to all the others in the past.

Silver is always constantly comparing himself to them, always pushing himself to do better, digging himself into a rut deeper than the abyss. He looks up to all these people like they are more powerful than him, like they matter more than him, and that leads to him getting hurt more often than not.

LIKE. JUST. I KNOW THEY WERE LOW ON STAFF BUT JUST READ THAT AND TELL ME THAT DOES NOT SOUND LIKE A CASE OF IMPOSTER SYNDROME. LOOK AT ME DEAD IN THE EYES AND TELL ME THAT. POOR SILVER.

This all comes to a head though in the battle between Silver and… Uh… Whatever the depressed guy is called, the depresso Zeti guy.

In this fight, Silver is going up against someone who can only see the bad in people, who can only see a world of bleakness and despair. Depresso hates anything that is joyful, despises anything good in life, and only wants to see people be as sad as him. He’s a petty, pathetic loser.

But at one point, Silver was just like him.

Look at this and tell me this doesn’t give off the same vibes as the fight scene lol

But yeah! Silver was once as hopeless and depressed as Depresso over there! He had no hope for the future, had no way of knowing if anything was gonna be alright, had no one to look up to… Safe to say he was most likely worse than Depresso! But due to his age and the knowledge that there were still people out there, still families wandering in groups hoping for daybreak, he held onto what little hope he had left. He probably ended up saving a few people and they thanked him, and that probably gave him the push he needed to keep dreaming. Just as his own song Dreams of an Absolution suggests!

“Struggle, wriggle, writhe and cry! You can’t escape, you’ll soon be mine.”

That sounds like a certain someone’s depression talking~! And when Silver first attacks Depresso and says “I can be direct! Cover me!” That is Silver’s way of saying “I can’t do much against my own emotions without being upfront and blunt about it, but I also accept your help in fending them off. Will you help me if I accept such help??”

And when Depresso asks, “How can you be so disgustingly heroic and selfless??” Well, Silver responds with this:

“Because I have faith in others. I believe things will get better… And because I have a Guardian Angel watching over me!”

Silver got better, managed to fend off those dark thoughts that plague Depresso, because he is able to look up to people. He is so young and eager to learn that he doesn’t see anything bad in having faith in others and asking for help. He’s prideful in what he can do, but unlike Sonic and Shadow, his pride and insecurity doesn’t overshadow his willingness to learn and get help from others.

Here’s a brief synopsis of the AU if you’re interested!

So the story begins just a bit before the first episode of Rise. A young girl named Clover (The name of my persona) is going through… Let’s say a “Rough patch,” and runs away from home. She then stumbles onto the turtles walking out of a portal, and goes through it too, thinking she has nothing else left to lose. She finds Draxum, he forces her to work for him, and then everything goes to shit after that.

Fast forward about a month or 2 later and the turtles have pieced together what Clover’s whole deal is and decide to take her in out of pity. In true Mikey fashion, he’s the only one who trusts her at the start, but the more Clover begins to open up again and the more she learns about herself, the more welcoming the others are towards her. And by the end, she’s basically been abducted into this rickety little found family full of turtles. 🥰

That’s all of course very surface-level stuff with no spoilers, and if I receive enough engagement on my ask blog, then I’ll go way more in depth if you wanna hear more! There is of course some major development for everyone and not just Clover, duh, so if that helps then. Yeah.

Okay, allow me to give you some additional context before just bombarding you with all the many reasons why you need to watch this show.

Search for the Lost is a fan-made production created by Creative Planet Entertainment on YouTube. This shit has been around for 6 whole years, and it is such a good show! Made entirely out of g-mod screenshots/screen recordings and Sonic gameplay, Search for the Lost is a show about Silver the Hedgehog and his friends figuring out what Melhiles of all people is doing back in action, and why the fuck he’s working with Eggman of all people. Also, why is Infinite back… AND WHAT’S ALL THIS TALK ABOUT A PROPHECY!?

OH AND BLAZE IS HERE TOO!?!?

AND THERE’S THIS NEW GUY CALLED FORGE WHO IS LITERALLY THE BEST IN THE ENTIRE SHOW HANDS DOWN 100000P0/10 BEST BOI BEST ROBO BUDDY EVER HE’S SUCH AN IDIOT AND SUCH A HILARIOUS GUY HE’S LIKE THE ONLY ONE WHO MAKES GOOD JOKES HE IS LITERALLY THE BEST EVER I LOVE FORGE

Aight lemme just give a quick spoiler-free explanation about Forge because I know yall are looking at this like “Who tf is Forge?? Some kinda fan character or something??” Because… Yeah, he is a fan character, BUT A VERY GOOD ONE AND HIS DYNAMICS WITH EVERYONE WORK LIKE A CHARM I TELL YOU HE IS NOT JUST SOME RANDOM SONIC RECOLOR.

Cuz he’s a Metal Sonic recolor! 🤩 Haha, well to be fair, they literally call out Sonic recolors in the show with this fact. It’s in Forge’s story! Basically, Forge once worked with Silver in his bad timeline in Crisis City, but the ashes and the chemicals were too much for his small little itty bitty bird lungs. So, to keep himself from slowing everybody down, he managed to shove his consciousness into an old Metal Sonic model. A black-and-yellow one, kinda like the one from Archie except a lot less like Sonic personality-wise and a lot more like Sonic visually. With all these new robotic upgrades, Forge became a force to be reckoned with, and became one of Silver’s bestest friends after the whole Iblis thing. Oh, and he ships Silvaze like it’s nobody’s business, so that obviously gets an A+ from me lmao

I may have gotten carried away with that explanation and maybe there’s some spoilers in there but it’s late and I’m sleepy so you’ll only know if you watch the show~! ✨🙂

Seriously tho. This show is very underrated. I’ve been keeping tabs on it for years now, ever since episode 5 came out! Trust me, that’s a long time. They have their plates full when it comes to personal things and it’s a big project so episodes come out after a long time in production.

There are only 7 episodes so far, but each episode is jam-packed full of lore and giving us more questions on top of every answer! It brings back characters we haven’t seen for a long while, and it always provides a reasonable explanation as to why some of them have been gone and why some just like. Cut contact or something. There’s characters from previous games, from Sonic X, from Archie, from IDW, BRO WE GOT GAMMA IN HERE BAYBEEEEE IF THAT AINT FREE REAL ESTATE IDK WHAT IS.

AND DON’T FORGET HEAVY AND BOMB FROM KNUCKLES CHAOTIX. PLEASE. PLEASE DON’T FORGET ABOUT THEM THEY’RE HERE TOO AND THEY’RE LOVELY

So. Please. Please just watch this show. Please look at all the additional content with Forge on their channel too, it’s fucking hilarious! Just… I wanna talk to someone about this show who isn’t just my lil bro. Like I love getting to bombard him with bullshit about characters he’s never even heard about until watching this show but I gotta know I’m not the only one. Please. These people are working so hard on Search for the Lost and I’d really appreciate if you even saw just one or two episodes. The story is very intriguing, the characters are all so well-written, TEAM DARK IS THERE, FORGE GETS A WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION, so I say it’s all totally worth it!

So, I recently rewatched a reaction video to Owl House’s season 2 episode 16, Hollow Mind. Pretty big episode in the show, known for being the creepiest, scariest, and most lore-filled episode in the entirety of Disney’s animated TVA history. Cannot blame it for such a reputation tbh, just watch the dang thing and you’ll know why.

Which is why it is my absolute favorite episode, hands down, in the entire show. Not even the finale can surpass this masterpiece of an episode. (Such a shame they put up the whole episode for the Titan Blood episode but not this one. Damn.)

Now the reason why I’m making this is because I’ve noticed a sort of… Not really a trend per se but people tend to kinda gloss over this bit in the episode. Here, look.

That. That is a body. Not a dead body, but she’s about to be dead. She’s in the cold, freezing to death, kind of all alone, and the only person there who is able to help her isn’t doing anything at all of the sort. What’s worse is that she’s probably still aware of everything going on! This young, impressionable woman was essentially sent to the slaughterhouse like a chicken, trusted the man who claimed would save her, and payed a deep dark price for it.

And Luz and Hunter are standing right there. Watching this all unfold, watching this woman breathe with all her might, watching as she struggles to even take a single breath, watching as the life fades from her gleaming eyes, watching as the purple tendrils snake up her skin like a disease, watching as she slowly dies a quiet, painful death…!

These are kids, children. Far too young to be experiencing such a phenomena. Nobody at any age should be allowed to witness someone die right before their eyes, but right now…? Luz and Hunter, ages 15 and 17, (yes I know they’re a year younger in canon but I do what I want shut up) are staring down at this young woman who is dying at their feet. And not only are they not helping, but they are unable to help. They are as hollow and as helpless as this young woman.

Just imagine how terrifying that is. To be alone within any sort of space, confined or not, and having to witness such a tragedy. Yes, she’s not dead yet, but Belos and his Grimwalker companion are leaving her alone in the snow, in the cold, when she has nothing but a slightly warm dress to keep her from immediately freezing. She will freeze to death. There is no doubt about that. And you can do nothing but stand there, as the life slowly bleeds from her body and eyes. She shakes, trying to regain control of her own body but she can’t, and you can tell she’s aware and you can tell she can still see because you can see pupils behind that eerie purple glow in her eyes, and you know she’ll die in a matter of minutes if you don’t do something but you are physically unable to do anything-

And Luz, scared as she is, can only look up at her only means of support. Hunter. He’s staring down at the ground too, stricken with terror, because he’s never seen anything so cruel and unjust and terrifying and wrong before, but she looks up at him anyway. Because he is all she has in this moment. Even when he is more scared than she is.

I think the reason why this scene gets ignored so often is because of what Belos says right before this. “They’re… Still alive.” “Then we still have some work to do.” LIKE YES THAT IS EERIE AS FUCK AND YES THAT IS TERRIFYING BUT DO YOU NOT SEE WITH YOUR OWN EYES WHAT IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW??????????? I’m not annoyed, just confused. How does a line of dialogue overshadow a whole entire masterpiece?? This whole scene is so terrifying and raw and scary, and it truly shows the lengths Dana was and is willing to go in terms of creativity. This is literal, genuine horror in a Disney show made for kids, yet it does not get enough credit in my opinion!

This post is not meant to slander or make someone praise this scene to the high heavens for “Not appreciating the Owl House enough” because someone said it wasn’t being loved enough. No. You are allowed to gloss over this entire episode if you want. Hell, you’re allowed to fuccin hate this episode for no reason even if you want! I’m just trying to shed some light on some very horrific elements in the Owl House that get overshadowed a lot. And it’s also a personal post too because. I’m a young and dumb idiot. Who likes owls. And houses. And lore.

Look I just love this little bit of animation to pieces okay it deserves way more credit than you think it does and I find it stupid and weird that a few words Belos said grinds this scene into the mud. I GET WHY BUT IT’S ANNOYINNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG

Overanalyzing Sonic Comics Again Because I Can.

You know what? No. I was gonna build up to this but I’m fuccin clueless on how so I’ll just jump right on into it!

This hedgehog. This goddamn blue motherfucking pinball of a hedgehog. He is absolutely SHATTERED by this one instance.

Sonic the Hedgehog in the IDW comics has been through… A LOT, lately. He’s shown signs of trauma and regret from the Metal Virus, he literally pulled a Shadow and lost his memory for like 8 panels, and ya boi LITERALLY DIED. IT’S VERY SAFE TO ASSUME THAT ANYTHING GOING WRONG ON HIS END WOULD BE CATASTROPHIC FOR HIM.

To me, in this case, it completely makes sense why Sonic is so utterly crushed in the Winter Jam, because not only does it force him to think outside the box and try some new techniques, but it also does to him what no one has dared to do in a while since his death, and that is: Disagree with him.

You’re probably giving this a pretty big scowl right now and you’re probably about to move on and not continue reading because yes I know that claim is very very outlandish and weird but I AM ABOUT TO EXPLAIN SO PLEASE STAY FOR A BIT I PROMISE IT’LL MAKE SOME SORT OF SENSE-

The Winter Jam is a fake reality tv show crafted by Orbot and Cubot, all for the purpose of getting Dr. Eggman to get off his lazy ass and do something. It kind of works in the end, but that’s not what I’m here to discuss. They painstakingly put together a bunch of tests specifically made to challenge the players, and to hopefully get some kind of juicy secrets out of them as well. Because that’s just how reality tv shows work I guess. And Sonic is one of those contestants.

The very first challenge, Sonic fails. The second challenge, Sonic fails. The third, fourth, fifth? Oh, he probably failed every single one of them! (Poor Tails lmao) But what the second challenge does is show Sonic that speed isn’t everything. It shows that not everything about him is perfect and that he doesn’t always have the right ideas. Same with the first challenge too! It brings to light that Sonic’s ideals can oftentimes be very wrong and too on-brand for him, because all he knows at this point is “Go fast” and “Freedom.” (See one of my previous analysis on our favorite blue boi) That would probably be mostly because of his recent trauma, but I’ll save all that for another time. So essentially, what this reality tv show is doing, is showing the odder sides of Sonic, showing how he can sometimes be wrong and that he isn’t as heroic and great as some make him out to be. (*cough cough* issue 67 *cough cough*)

The final challenge, though… That’s when things start taking a turn for the worst for Sonic.

He already started questioning his methods when the second challenge ended in a failure. He went fast, and that almost always works, so why didn’t he win? It was a race, was it not? Did he miss the memo? Did he do something wrong? What was wrong with him, why didn’t he win, he went fast so WHY DIDN’T HE WIN????

And if we’re assuming that he kept racking up failure after failure for the rest of the competition, then those thoughts suddenly become a lot worse. They start getting muddied, dirtied by insecurity, full of lies and deceit and worries that he’d spent so long trying to bury in his mind. He starts slowing down, trying his best to not fail because if he keeps failing then what kind of hero even is he!?!?

And then the final challenge happens.

And Sonic fails once again.

He thought it had worked this time, he thought that finally, after so long, he could claim just one little victory. Just a small, funny statue made of ice. One that symbolized the best of the best, something that showed that he cared. A true gift for a true friend. An ice statue of him and his beloved baby brother, Tails.

It works…! At least for a few seconds. Because after those few seconds are up?

It all comes crumbling down.

And so too does Sonic’s entire body.

He falls to the ground with his statue, his eyes glued to the ice-cold dots of the foxy figure. Sonic stares at it, feeling something burn within his eyes. No, no, that could not have just happened! His hard work could not have been for nothing! He wasn’t too fast again, was he? Why did it fall, why did it crumble, why was everything falling apart like the statue???

…

Everything was falling apart.

As someone who never knew about or gave a crap about Tumblr Live the announcement baffles me. Never knew this thing existed. Explanations would be lovely!

What I find so wonderful and authentic about the Chaotix isn’t just because of the fact they’re a close-knit found family and would do anything for each other and are also the silliest motherfuckers in the series, but…

They’re literally just that. That’s it. Yes, they have a detective business they run by themselves and Espio is literally a self-trained ninja, but those are just jobs/hobbies of theirs. The detective agency they run is something they only do so they can have the money they need to live in the city! If they didn’t live in the city, they’d probably still be detectives, but it’d be a much more laid back business and they’d probably have a little less advertisements.

Okay what I’m getting at here is that the Chaotix are basically just any run-of-the-mill everyday casual loving family. When they go on missions they fail to take it 100% seriously, they prioritize the money over the actual goal, they’re goofy as all hell, seem very immature and not up to the task, they set up schedules before they even get anything done… They’re not like. A professional business. They’re still just average everyday people just like every other random motherfucker in that city, and you can tell by how they fight!

Against Eggman, the three dance around each other and take down bots like it’s nothing! This is a song and dance they’ve listened to a million times over at this point, and when ur friends with Sonic you are bound to run into Eggman a ton! But when we see them up against literally anything else, like Mecha Sonic, (Or whatever the fuck kinda weird anime bullshit Metal was pulling in the first arc) the Zombots, or the Babylon Rogues, they’re pretty sloppy and overall are just a buncha goofballs! They’re all over the place and don’t really seem to know what they’re doing, and honestly? I adore that! It shows just how under level they are compared to everyone else and how they’re more used to covering menial tasks like tracking down a lost purse or turning some creep to the police station. They’re better equipped for everyday problems that any regular family would go through and it shows!

So if anyone asks why I adore the Chaotix, this is what I’ll show in response.
