neck. often it's small nuzzles, sometimes it's gentle kisses, and in those rare occurrences where he's extra playful, it can even be taunting licks, but he's almost obsessed with cupping your neck with one palm and giving it the softest, teasing touches with his lips. it might appear more intimate than simply kissing your lips to some, but he's not quite at the level of bravery to just kiss you so easily, so your neck is just soft and intimate enough for him to kiss instead, and how you shrink and blush under him is a good bonus too.

lips. he's never been shy about showing his affections for you. he has never wanted, nor loved and cherished something as much as he has you, he sees no viable reason not to cup the back of your head as he kisses you, your strands of hair slipping through his fingers as they tense and relax against your scalp. the way he holds you is intense, almost predatory, as if he's claiming your entire body along with your lips, and he'll make sure everyone knows. while it can be overbearing, it's a surefire way to show he loves you, and loves you dearly, perhaps a little too much.

collarbone. he's always been a bit antsy, and you know as well as he does that he certainly doesn't have the best ways of dealing with his tendencies. so you let him curl up on your lap, encased in your arms, his head resting against your chest and his hands playing with your fingers, and he seizes the opportunity to kiss the ball of your collarbone and work his way up, then down again. it's a gentle mix of loving and possessive, sweet and passionate. and it gets you riled up quickly, which is never something to complain about.

hands. he's never been one for affection, hardly knowing the first thing about physical touch. you've been patient with that fact, and he's ever so thankful. and as he musters up the courage to go further one day, one day soon, he takes your hand that was in the midst of braiding his hair, he takes it in his own and caresses it gently, bringing it up to his lips and leaving soft pecks from your wrist to the tip of your index. it's the farthest he can go without becoming a bumbling stammering mess, but it's adorably endearing all the same, and he turns into a red blushing disaster anyway when you let him know.

uhhh...thoughts on the bloomic Love Interests taking care of mc during their period...

This is hard because they would be both similar and different when it comes to this-

NightOwl is more exaggerative with his worries in a sense? than NakedToaster is. I mean like he is more expressive and would want to help out as much as he can, but you need to comfort him more (but he does make you laugh because of it). Buys as many pads and tampons as he can- you wont have to worry for a while. Loves when you rely on him- he likes knowing you come to him first when things like this happen.

Toasty is more composed- he is the type to run his hands through your hair and make you tea to help as best as they can, probably has a hot water bottle ready when he notices. He takes time off work because what are they supposed to do? Leave you in pain for 8 hours a day? Thats not what a good partner does.

Xyx picks up on it first- with his line of work it would be kinda hard not to. Easier to cry, pain is worse, and your appetite is fluctuating? Yep, it’s that time again. He planned it the day before, setting everything up so that you can relax and kick back. He doesn’t want you stressing, and Cat is great company for when he cant get out of work, usually bringing home more snacks than usual to help cheer you up while you cuddle on the couch.

Quest is the type to be more..service? Like he runs you a bath, the type to make you some food and usually you two take turns cleaning but he takes more of the work that makes it harder for you when it’s your period. He WILL NOT let you stand for too long because he knows youre in pain, he will carry you. He honestly loves taking care of you the most because you dont usually let him and he likes making life easier for you.

So I finished Blooming Panic and you should absolutely play it if you have the chance?

It's got 4 LIs (3 male LIs & 1 nonbinary LI) and MC's pronouns can be picked from she/her, he/him or they/them. The video calls are also completely voiced in English. It's got a bunch of interesting side characters. And for such a comparatively short game, each route is going to make you feel things

Is it a horny game? No, not necessarily. Is this the horniest route? YES. MAN IS GONNA BREAK MC'S FUCKING BACK

There's always that one LI where it's obvious they are the one the devs ship MC with and they were right

have we ever considered that nightowl and onionthief have the makings of two Bitter Exes

doing nightowl's route and seeing the way onion acted towards both us and him felt so...telling. like it's not even them being in a full romantic relationship, any kind would've sufficed, but everyone can see an unmistakeable tension

let me paint you a picture: two grad students who like the same web novel. so different, yet one always balances out the other

emotion and logic, the sun and the moon—two people are at incredible parallels to each other that they fail to realize that they're just the sides of the same coin

onion cares in his own way, calculated and cold yet with warmth all the same. and nightowl sees that. he argues, but he sees that. until the words are too harsh, too critical, too much like his mother and her endless ways to tell him he's not enough

on the other end, nightowl is the life of the party, seriousness can be so easily pushed back in his light. and onion basks in it. he gets burnt, but he basks in it. until the sleepless nights happen and the alcohol hits, too chaotic, too vulnerable, just too much

and they break apart. who cares about what they could've been if they had only learned that they shared the same affinity for numbers? what does it matter that they both know what it's like to fear the impending doom of expectations? they're just onion and owl. too different. too much for the other to love

then here comes mc with their patience, intelligence, humor, and kindness. and just like that, old wounds open as onionthief and nightowl see exactly what they wanted and needed from the other that they never got

but mc chooses nightowl. in all his failure and broken glory, and in turn, he chooses to be better for the both of them

while onion is left to think about all the what-if's. what if he were kinder? what if he were less arrogant and cared more about him instead of being right?

left to wonder why now, why not then when it mattered just as much, not when it was him who was on nightowl's side

why he just wasn't good enough.
