Top 10 BLoSC moments?

The nose ring scene, obviously.

Buzz and Zurg's confrontation in front of the giant Z on his tower in TAB - it's just such a pretty shot.

When Mira chooses to believe Buzz in Conspiracy. There's an extra layer to it in that Buzz isn't even right. He almost kills the president for real. But Mira has complete faith in him either way.

NOS-4-A2's death scene. I love the shot of him emerging from the smoke, half-destroyed, and it's really satisfying to see him finally get his comeuppance.

Warp going back for Buzz in Tag Team (shout out to the end of Ancient Evil as well).

The over the top gore in Wirewolf (clearly intended that way with all the robot blood) rendered kid-friendly by virtue of involving machines.

Blosc cartoon au, except Agent Z is a recently resurrected Buzz Lightyear (but cloned from Buzz's brain) and likes being a neutral evil after being the one pinned in the exploding lair instead of Warp. Also keeping tabs on Zurg's plans, makes intentional mishaps, and doesn't share it with Star Command. Warp remains a Space Ranger being pained with the thought if this is a new whole person or Buzz.

I saw a fanfiction readers ask meme on my dash and decided for myself to just forgo the asks because some of these questions were interesting and I wanted to dabble :D

   What was the first fandom/ship you read fic for? How did you come to it? I think BLoSC. I have no conscious memory of reading any fanfic in German, and I disctinctly remember Kila's BLoSC story to be my first. It was English while I was still learning and I had to look up every 3rd or so word that was never in the required school vocabulary (you know, easy stuff like "to blink").

   Why do you read fic? I used to focus on writing, now I just read because it's fun and people are so talented. Find a good fic and it'll change you forever.

   What fandom/ship do you read in most? Fandom: currently Tangled-Varian fanfics. Other favorite ao3 tags include but are not limited to "Gravity Falls" "Ace Attorney" "Miraculous Ladybug" there are more, but these are the ones most often checked. Ships I don’t look for but take as they come

   Do you read by ship or fandom? Fandom. I don't really care for ship but I'll take if it doesn't disrupt the more important plot.

   Favorite tropes? Absolute jams? Are they consistent from fandom to fandom? Angst and Hurt/Comfort. I've only recently discovered with the Tangled Fandom that apparently "Whump" is a thing and I am living for it :'D Also Platonic Moral support at any given chance.

   Things you like in fic but not in life? I'm an Angst reader, so have your pick.

   Things you like in life but not in fic? ...I'm sure there's sth, but right now I'm coming up with nothing.

   Favorite fics you go back to? I haven't reread a fic in a LONG time because I'm constantly just catching up. There's a couple fics that I keep reccing though and a handful of really well written oneshots that sometimes feel like a full-fledged multi-chapter-stories but compact and short.

   Name your favorite fic writer/s in (pick a fandom, anon)! Tangled has A LOT of great authors, vaguenotion, izabellwit, mycove, CodyNaomiSwire, thestarsandi, Aquaquadrant just to name a FEW! I've heard of others getting a lot of love too like littlemisslol but thus far I've only read one of her fics (it was amazing), so I cannot properly judge the entire catalogue yet. I got the others tabbed though!  

   Name your favorite fics in (pick a fandom, anon)! ....I don't have the mental energy to go through my entire rec-list right now, but they are out there.

   How would you describe your commenting style? I don't comment much, but when I do, I try to have something to say!

   Are you a picky reader? Yes. But I'll also finish reading if sth doesn’t turn out to be my jam because "well you've gotten this far" and people are putting work into it that should be appreciated

   Live/open/continuing canons or completed canons? Both

   Do you care more about writers or tags? Writers. If an author wins me over I'll read anything they throw at me. Tags are usually only checked even after the Description, so I might read without ever checking. (I have regretted this in the past, but it's entirely my fault)

   Do you read fic if you don’t know the canon? Rarely

   Have you ever come to canon via fic? Once with BLoSC. Actually let me correct that first answer, because I think I first found Kila's BLoSC stories by looking for Lilo and Stitch, that might have been my first fic experience. But I only dabbled so it didn't stick to mind.

   Is there a fic you’d like to see for (pick a ship, anon)? I'd love to see a take on the Disciple!Varian AU and possibly a crossover with Full Metal Alchemist :) During Season 1, Varian could have really used a mentor, by now I think he'd possibly suit that role better.

   Do you read WIPs? Yes

   What’s your rarest pair? I like my character interactions platonic, actual pairings are rare. The only thing that comes to mind might be some RP hijinks that are born organically from very specificy RP interaction and no sane person would come up with shipping the characters for the sake of it, but in RP it just happens (XR/Tardis is a prime example for this, they were adorable)

Hey! I'm thinking of rewatching BLoSC and I was wondering if you had a timeline-conscious order you'd recommend I watch the episodes in?? I watched them in the official episode and season order before, but I wanted to experience them chronologically this time. Thanks!

I’m always so happy when people message me about BLoSC!! Anyway, most of the episodes can be watched in a pretty loose fashion, but you can find a suggested viewing order here. Some of the changes are for continuity reasons (putting Wirewolf before Revenge of the Monsters, for example), while others are just to create a better flow, like putting NOS-4-A2 straight after The Adventure Begins because it was the first episode made (and was the original pilot, as TAB was a late addition to the production), or putting Revenge of the Monsters last because it provides more resolution than any other episode (wrapping up NOS, XL, and Ty’s storylines).

The one thing I might change about the above viewing order is I would put Ancient Evil directly before RotM, just to give a break between Wirewolf episodes and because it works as an open-ended cap to Warp’s story. But otherwise that viewing order should work much better than the official airing order!
