Backstory: Her past is a blur. From birth she’s been criticized for her gender, since her father wanted a boy, not a girl. This has made her deeply insecure about her gender, and has her constantly fantasizing about how much better life would have been if she were a boy. Her father was harsh not only because of her sex, but also for not conforming with traditional feminine and conservative standards. Her only support throughout her childhood and adolescence was her mother, but it wasn’t enough. Her biggest support was her lover that stuck with her throughout high school. They kept it on the down low, since same-sex relationships were more taboo back then, and with her father being a redneck, but they loved every second of their relationship. They grew up together, and soon moved in together, using the roommate excuse. Carolinne’s life was more positive than ever before, until… her lover was gone. She had no idea where she went. She won’t pick up her phone, she never left a note. The happiness she once had was now gone, emotionally and literally. Her house slowly turned into a mess, herself included. She doesn’t shower regularly, she never cleans up after herself, her lights are constantly off, the windows barely show sunlight.
