honestly, i forgot what this was for, but hey! i'll give it a shot!

jaeho is hands down my favorite muse. the guy is just so easy to write and requires no thinking on my part because he???? doesn't think so much either????? i have a particular writing style with him that sometimes tries and blends itself with my other muses, which makes me struggle A LOT because i have to remind myself that the sarcastic and dry inner monologues he has will not work when writing, say huifen or seungheon. he's also really adaptable when it comes to any scenario, so i can just literally throw him anywhere and he'll thrive. plus, he literally just started off as a janitor and everything else (background, habits, thought process) kinda came and piled on naturally. he basically writes himself????

When it comes to worldbuilding, what are some ideas you’d like to explore in rp?

this is probably gonna make me sound like a terrible writer, but the reason i'm in rp is because i didn't really wanna world build?? i kinda just had ideas for characters and throw them in and had them follow whatever setting of my partners. (as you can tell, i hate thinking sdfskjfsdjf)

but lately, i have been working (on and off) on a multi oc blog that is "supposed" to be heavily crime-based and things like that. (i say "supposed" because i don't like setting things in stone and knowing me, it could turn into anything.) kinda inspired by bungo stray dogs, hakata tonkotsu ramens, etc. and with that, letting me write those types of plots (i.e. assassination, drug heist gone wrong, escaping prison, etc). really just exploring all those themes in general because i definitely usually go for crack-oriented muses with a few normal ones here and there, so definitely a challenge from my usual style!

better yet: let's explore jaeho finally getting what he deserves!

✎ When choosing a name for your muse, did you pick something special or meaningful in some way?

teddy, the nickname for his real name sounds warm and endearing. his full given name, theodore, is not only v old so it works as his baptismal name in both his main and vampire verse but fitting bc it means 'gift of God'. and, well. depending on which version of teddy u get, he probs thinks that himself !! also because i jst knew i wanted this muse to have some sort of religious trauma lmao

✰ How did you decide your muse’s skills and talents? Do they relate to their occupation in some way?

not really !! more so to do with his privileged upbringing. it's definitely the reason he speaks more than one language and was able to nurture creative talents from a young age. his social skills & charisma definitely help with his job(s) though.

               pressed  shoulder  to  shoulder  on  the  piano  bench,  there’s  not  an  inch  of  space  that  seperates  the  two  musicians.  it  reminds  him  of  the  past,  a  mirrored  image  of  two  boys  cooped  up  together  in  some  mightee  one  dorm  room,  huddled  over  a  much  smaller  keyboard  instead  of  the  grand  piano  they’re  currently  sharing.  things  almost  felt  easier  back  then,  despite  the  ruthless  training  they  had  endured  every  day.  it  was  less  complicated  back  then  —  everything  just  feels  so  convoluted  now.  

               they  can’t  go  back  to  past,  and  minjun  let’s  his  fingers  glide  over  the  higher  keys  while  jace  focuses  on  the  lower  ones  —  together,  they  build  the  foundation  of  a  mindless  melody,  something  they  can  work  on  with  a  bit  more  sincerity  at  another  time.  turning  his  head  to  look  at  jace  at  his  side,  the  warmth  from  where  their  thighs  are  touching  seeps  further  into  his  chest,  warming  him  from  the  inside  out.  the  idol  is  convinced  the  puppy  love  from  all  those  years  still  remains,  a  fondness  reserved  in  the  reservoirs  of  his  heart.

               ❝  it’s  really  nice  seeing  you  again,  jace . . .  ❞  his  hands  come  down  to  rest  in  his  lap,  teeth  worrying  his  bottom  lip  if  only  for  a  moment.  ❝  i  spent  a  long  time  not  knowing  what  happened  to  you,  or  where  you  ended  up  after . . .  everything.  i’m  glad  to  have  been  given  the  chance  to  catch  up  with  you  again.  ❞

               the  grin  on  his  lips  never  once  falters,  despite  the  brief  lull  in  the  atmosphere  of  the  conversation.  bumping  his  shoulder  against  jace’s,  minjun  turns  his  attention  back  down  to  the  piano.  ❝  and  it  feels  even  better  to  work  with  you  again.  fucking  musical  genius  is  what  you  are,  jace  chai.  ❞
