Stop!!!! Trying!!! To family coded characters with clear romantic interests!!!!!! I don’t give two rats asses about your headcanon, I don’t care that you headcanon the female character as a lesbian with comhet!! I don’t really care that you don’t like the ship and I definitely don’t care that you think they’re better as friends!! Putting that familial spin on a character who’s clearly romantically invested in another character is WEIRD!! Even trying to force your headcanon on people who clearly don’t feel the same without the canonical context is WEIRD!! That is weirdo behavior!!! You’re being a WEIRDO!!!

And before anyone gets their fingers in a twist, no I’m not saying that you can’t headcanon a female character as a lesbian with comhet even with romantic interest for a male character, I’m saying trying to push a FAMILIAL lens onto the character despite her canonically interest being romantic is weird. Y’all say y’all want healthy portrayals of female-male friendships and yet y’all push them into family relations every single time. If you don’t ship them that’s fine, but that doesn’t make them family. Damn.

You know what, no, I’m gonna make a post about it cause I’m actually pissed about this. This whole thing that the rise fandom has about shipping is absolutely ridiculous. Y’all act like the FANDOM shipping certain characters together is some kinda slight against you personal when all you have to do is click the back button, and if it’s that bad for you, just block. I have stuff in the server that I don’t like, but you know what I do? Ignore it and mind my grown ass business. The inability to accept that people aren’t gonna headcanon the same thing as you do, are even adhere to canon to the rate at which you do, is so narcissistic and childish that I cannot FATHOM that there are this many of you.

Y’all bitch and bully and complain about minuscule things until the point people who love and have a passion for the show can’t even sneeze without feeling like some rando on the internet is gonna rally to forces for a hate campaign, and it’s distasteful as hell. And it’s horrible because we don’t even know if we’re going to get anymore canon rise content. The fandom is literally all we have to share love for it and get a taste of content, but every other week, y’all are chasing out an artist, or absolutely bashing a concept because they go against the holy grail of made-up shit that everyone just decides is correct.

Y’all are too up in the asses of characters that don’t even and will not ever exist.

JJK Rant because I've seen the wildest argument of my life on Twitter and I can no longer be silent about it:

I'm just,,, Idk if I'm mad about the take or just stun into silence because why did I just see someone say shipping Gojo — 29 year old, teacher who wants to protect the young of his students, the Gojo Satoru — with his 15 year old student would be more in character than shipping him with Geto.

They argued that the ship with a boy (once again, 15) and his teacher is somehow more healthy than the relationship between two characters within the same age group who still referred to each other as their one and only best friend even after their messy as hell falling out because Geto is a mass murderer...

Like,,, sweetheart,,, considering how sentient some of these curses in the show are, they're all mass murderers.... That was literally the argument Mahito made to Itadori. Itadori, the same character whose literal character arc is figuring out how to grapple with the fact that being a sorcerer means you have to be a little loose with your moral code. (Why do you think their power works through cursed energy, why do you think you have to be a little wild and crazy to be a sorcerer, why do you think Gojo is telling Megumi he has to be a little selfish as a sorcerer??? Do you think Gege is just pulling certain words and phrases out of his ass for no reason??? They're literally building towards a narrative???)

And before you even try to pull a "oh, but Gojo being a little fucked up by being a groomer would make sense in this world", you're still wrong because it goes completely against Gojo's character. Because while Gojo is the strongest in the universe, he also understands that strength alone won't get him everywhere. What makes you think Gojo, while in a position of leadership over Itadori (and also technically guardianship because remember Itadori is an orphan taken in by the school), would ever attempt to do anything romantic or otherwise with him?? Like what?? Mr. I Could Kill The Old Heads Getting In My Way, But That Wouldn't Bring To Peace My Students Deserve??? You sick in the head or something???

The thing is if you don't like Geto, that's fine. Some people aren't gonna like certain complexities in certain characters. But for you to fix your lips and say it's out of character to ship Gojo and Geto and then turn around and try to make Gojo a fucking groomer is so wild to me.

I really wanna believe that my sister wants to support my art endeavors, I really do. But this is the same person that paid me $30 for 3 full coloring sheets after telling me my original pricing was too much. This is the same person that wouldn't leave me alone after I told her "I don't wanna do that" repeatedly when she "commissioned" me for the job and then got my dad to pressure me into doing it. The same person that used my artwork in her self-help book and didn't even invite me to the banquet where she announced the damn thing but my other sisters instead.

And now she wants me to do a sticker sheet for, ig, my niece's birthday in December. Did I wanna make stickers before this? Yes. Did I wanna make a sticker sheet? I would have liked to attempt one in the future, sure. But not for her. Never for her. She's literally the reason I don't wanna do business with family. Idc she asked how much I would charge, I don't give 3 shits, I know for a fact she's gonna wanna underpay me. After I have my associates in art, after having already been paid for art and no longer qualifying as an "amateur", she doesn't value me as an artist or as someone who wants to do art for a living.
