ughh I just noticed Saitama is clutching Genos' core close to his chest;;

Fuck me UPPPpppPPP m'kay this is like the angstiest type of saigenos I doubt anyone ~genuinely~ wanted to see happen in canon, beyond the safe hypothetical 'death' scenarios in fanfics.... D:

Izuku complimenting the Shimura's

In the obi sketch, Izuku says "That's a really nice smile, it's different from the one you showed me before but still nice"

And unless he's talking about something that happened off-screen for the cover, he might be talking about their last interaction in the Mall where Tomura smiled

So is he?? talking about this one that Tomura showed him before??

And if the Vol25 smile is "different than the one you showed me before (in Mall Scene) but still nice", does that mean Vol25 Tomura is more "free" because of the whole liberation thing and unleashing all his power? Whereas Mall Scene Tomura is probably not as "free" because a lot of things were weighing on his mind and he was still figuring things out

Also, in the Mall Scene Izuku states that he has no goal and seems to destroy just for fun and Tomura walks away from that interaction inspired

But after this came Kamino and then MVA, where Tomura goes through more character development, unleashes his quirk's full potential, finally remembers his past and becomes "liberated"

Of course he's not really free. He's still under AFO's influence, still thinks he needs to destroy everything. But he does, in a sense, become freer than he used to be

Making this Tomura's smile "different from the one he showed (Izuku) before" but still nice

Thinking about how Volume 25 has Tomura on the front and Izuku on the back

Not to be dramatic but Izuku saying Tomura's smile is nice in the Vol25 obi sketch for the cover changed my life, cleared my skin and watered my crops

It's keeping me going through the break of their final war battle but also I keep thinking about the fact that it was Izuku who said that. Not the League, not Spinner, not AFO, not Re-Destro, but the kid who is supposed to be fighting him. The kid who is also going to be saving him. The kid whose only interaction with Tomura before War Arc was the Mall Scene where the villain held him hostage

I know it's not like in the story, it's just a little sketch outside of canon (and probably part of Hori's actor au thing), but I still. cannot get over it
