HOW THIN IS THE LINE
It might look out of focus from very near and also from afar. The Vantage point may be apt or a magnifying glass might come handy from close. The bottom line is the clarity."How clear you can see".It's like things are hidden in those nuances, those overlooked neon signs, those clauses in a contract, the moment when we are looking ,listening and yet not seeing, getting and understanding; those alleys ,where we avoid excursions, might give us a more meaningful map of clarity.
The tether breaks and we go beyond the confines. That point of bifurcation, that breaking point is the thin line.A territory so vast like a planet of new vision as if someone has cracked the code of
"gravity-and-no gravity-symbiosis".
To top it all ,it's not happening accidentally.
It's like appearing in exams and getting a question paper and as luck would have it or by great preparation or God knows how,we know all the answers .How do we go about it ?
Start writing instantly or choose those 5 questions from 8...get into the details to answer by making an order, keeping time under consideration or just start filling the answer sheet and not wasting the time in sorting and thinking about all that.
well..the wisdom change lanes and suddenly you are lost in the technique of how to get the best out of your awareness on paper....The thin line suddenly appears like a flash of lightning on the fire...between consciousness and unconsciousness.
See the fire..see the thunder cloud flashing a streak on it....not accidentally....
The thin line was always there. You have only developed a niche to see that line now,an unexplained territory like the Bermuda triangle.
Countries have lines of control with their neighbors and also have an actual line of control?.
Fencing is done on that thin line like a serpent sitting on the treasure, like enlightenment that exists in every human being. Those ,who get the essence of it are the chosen ones.
God provided world without lines as a natural course of event and we made registered plots out of the Geography of nature.
That thin line is the sacred thread which binds two poles of approach and ends up constructing a bridge of clarity. It's like standing on the bridge(vantage point) between the mountains and watching the river flowing down clearly and touching the clouds above our heads.
It's time for that thin line to metamorphose into a Lane. It's like watching the face of a person and trying to read his\her mind.Personality lies in the region of that thin line.
The core with and without the part of the whole.
"A thin line is always between the lines, beyond the calculated measurements"
Like the news in a column that is more intriguing then the head line ...And it says " They have measured the weight of the soul but no success with the thin line".

Confessions to God
CONFESSIONS.....
I have manifestations. To see these...
To see their varied interactions...to see how they undulate in their infinite time...to feel them as they play out as thought and experience..from micro organisms to the ever widening universe... from the point of view of the enlightened..To the point of view of a rabid dog -- from the grandeur of the lofty mountains to the putrid remains of a dead rat... from the sound of beautiful music to the toxic fumes from a truck exhaust...from the confusion and depressed feelings of a beggar to the erudite clarity of saints... from good to bad And everything in between...From entropy to an unstable state... all the movements of energy from within to without... the ever increasing possibilities unfold... I have to observe--- it is my unresolved obsession... it is my incapability to resolve all the individual manifestations into their non existence --as of the immediate now... that creates their unending passage... My insatiable curiosity takes infinity and beyond to exhaust the possibilities...I exist in duality...I do have this major limitation of limitness, both in me and my manifestations....
This is the totality of the "ISNESS EXPERIENCE"...
This is my confession..

THIS IS A TRUE STORY
The speedometer was touching 110kmph and my sister was trying to prove how she deserves to be one of the best drivers in the world. The only piece of advice i gave her was to keep the distance from other vehicles. Her brand new i10 was cruising perfectly and suddenly she asked me"where is your ticket?". I smilingly flashed out the ticket from my pocket and told her "i am not that careless Di ".
I had to take a Mumbai bound flight from Delhi at eight. She told me to reconfirm it with the airline and i unwillingly called the airline, greeted by a sweet voice assuring that 8oclock flight was on right time.
A flurry of activities till evening kept me busy and Mom specially packed home made delicacies like Namkeen, achaars etc .I told her that everything is available there in Mumbai to which she replied, "yes i know that everything is available there except your Mom"
So with the goodbyes from relatives and family members and with little moist eyes,i headed towards the airport.
The evening looked beautiful with the chill around Delhi and i made my way to the boarding counter with oozing confidence, asked for my boarding pass.
The girl was sweet as she recognized me from some of my film work and took the ticket and before she could stamp it,her hand came to a screeching halt and i could see her fingers adorned with all the gemstones you can find in this world. She looked up and said"Sir,your flight was at 8a.m ,this is a different flight".
Her words sounded like a thunderbolt with a Dolby digital effect, which made me feel like an ailing patient, just out of his coma and the same girl appears as a doctor, telling me "we are not discharging you Mr." .
How could i do this???Bobby vats ,how could you do this!!!.... As an immature student, who does not read his question paper properly and starts writing!!.
I inquired ,if any other flight is available?I was told that one at 22.00hrs but if any cancellation, which was unlikely in the festive season.
At 10oclock... 22.00 hrs to be precise,i could see her as an incarnation of Nostradamus.I could not get the ticket and i wanted to disappear from the airport and being the culprit of not living up to the Raw agent image in my real life from my then released film.
I came out and sat in an auto rickshaw ,unsure of my future plans.
But one thing was sure,i was not going home.
The elderly auto driver could figure out that something was wrong with this guy and asked me"Aap aaye ho ya jaa nahi rahe ho"(have you come from somewhere or you are not going?).I said" i wanted to go but i could not".How can i go???.....I narrated the saga of my mistake.
Suddenly he suggested me to take special buses available to Jaipur from Delhi from Rajasthan tourism ."It will take some hours but from Jaipur, you can easily find your way to Mumbai".
I jumped at the Idea, not thinking about the tiresome journey compared to the embarrassment of going home and telling them about loosing the flight.
I boarded a beautiful Volvo with seat cum beds and a bus equipped with the desirable comfort .Thinking about all this ,i looked at the watch which showed me 3.30 a.m and a person beside my seat looked at me and then telling his wife that the journey started in Bhrama mahurat(a sacred time according to Hinduism), pulled a blanket and covered his face.
Thinking about the day ,which unexpectedly turned out to be a disaster ,i slept.
I opened my eyes and i could see the same old man waking me up.."Get up get up or you will miss the bus to Ajmer .."You are going there no"??Ajmer sheriff!!and words came tripping out of my tongue "Yes".
He told me that the bus will take some more hours to reach Ajmer.
I got down from the bus and without any thought, Boarded Ajmer bound bus with driver telling me politely that i am late.I got a good seat with no comparison of the buses and a song playing on the bus Radio.."jaha daal -daal pe sone ke chidiya kartee hai basera..woh Bharat desh hai mera"....
But this whole episode reminded me of another blunder ,which happened ,when i boarded a Jaipur bound train ,thinking it to be a Rajhdhani express(they looked so similar), checked by a T.C telling me "your ticket says Delhi but this train goes to Jaipur but from a different route.
There were some people sitting in the same compartment ,going to Ajmer shariff. They requested the T.c to allow me in the train .T.c was a kind man and i was travelling free of cost in a different train.
The same people advised me that i should go to Ajmer shariff. It is near from Jaipur but i did not heed to their advice.
As a flashback,i recollected all that.(how from Borivili,i wanted to board Rajdhani express and was standing on the right platform but this train to Jaipur came,as it was supposed to.A very similar looking train ,very near the same time ,Rajdhani arrives and i boarded that;without even asking anyone and straight to a second Ac coach, tallied my seat no. and sat).
I was sitting in a different train with a different ticket.
Suddenly my flashback ended with the jerk and the Bus came to an halt and i got down at Ajmer and a person came running to me and recognizing me from my once hit serial "Heena",requested to be my guide for Ajmer shariff dargaha tour.
He took me to a five star sort of a room and told me "sir only 500rs".I settled for the room with the best view.It was such a beautiful room that could give many big hotels run for the money. They have changed a small row house into an accommodation like this and all for rs. 500 only.
I rested for a while and after the fresh up schedule, waited for my man friday.
A doorbell rang and the same man was standing with 5-6 friends of his ,who wanted to shake hands with me.I had graduated to films by then but realized the power of television .
I had a darshan of Ajmer Shariff as if it was all planned and suddenly the same person asked me "if you want to Visit KRISHNA temple and Bhrama temple in Pusker , transportation can be arranged".I was not aware what was happening to me and said "arrange it pronto" and planned my next day for puskar.I extended the stay and ended up seeing the most ancient temples in Pushkar .
I forgot his name but he was like some stranger ,who guides your way to a temple and when you turn to thank him ,he is gone .I hugged him and that was the last thing i remember.
Sitting in Mumbai ,that feels like a dream. But it happened with me .The trip ,which i thought was ruined turned out to be the most beautiful one....

The reason I don’t judge people is directly related to not judging my own self.Being subjected is the best way to understand the objective in a psychological way with no strings attached like Fellini’s 81/2 plunging shot that took my breath away to realise the awe it Created..#Bobbyvats# outabreakgrmmer.

Seekha sakon to pyar hi sikhana,

Bhatke hue ko Batana zaroor ki Rasta Kya hai

Beetee baaton se seekhey na ab jo Tum,
Apne anjam ka ilzaam phir auro pe na lagana doston.
Nikle ho manjil ki Taraf to pahunch hi jaaoge ,

FILM SURGERY
The show of a foriegn film got over in MAMI film festival and a big crowd came out of the theater.A short discussion on the serious aspects of the film took us towards a fancy tea stall, outside the theater .My friend’s phone buzzed and she started talking on some mundane issues of life, nothing to do with cinema.Watching her engrossed in her phone,i ordered a tea for me. Like the protaganists of “Blue is the warmest colour”,the tea was hot n delicious and as i was sipping and watching my friend go on and on with her conversation like a Mani kaul film, covering a long distance from her starting point ,creating a perfect long shot.Suddenly ,a person standing beside me looked at me and asked about the badge ,which every body was wearing in the neck.I quenched his query by telling him that every festival delegate has to wear it to get into the theater .We introduced us to each other and this gentleman was a dentist , who surprised me by telling that he never ever watched a film in his life .Adding to my bewilderment, asked me how you people can watch so much cinema..what you all gain ?? I told that gentleman to spend a day and watch some great films and then he will know the gain and I reminded him how dentists remove teeth and gain money . So there is a gain in every experience.Be it artistic or unartistic. That’s the difference in selfish and selfless aspect of life .He told me that he was so engrossed in his work and never found time for any entertainment and gradually lost interest for anything to do with cinema .He was a dental surgeon or may be he was a metaphor , which was unique in its own way . But how come someone in 21st century can evade watching even a single film. This was most enlightening experience of the day ,more then any film ,i saw .But the man didn't seem to be telling a lie and as i was looking for avenues to take out my creative outburst on him,a lady in the car called out for him and picked him from the spot. He wished me success in my journey of art ,which he will never be part of. I was looking at the car going away and my friend approaching towards me and me trying to come in terms of this strange encounter in a film festival .World is full of strange kind of wisdom.Thats how life keep surprising you and you can just be thankful for every experience, regardless of what your opinion is..#BobbyVats
