He said it would be just one raid.

You wanted to enjoy the little warmth left before Fall arrived full force, and Kal needed to go on his walk, but there you were, lying on the bed, half reading your book, and listening to the endless sounds of swords and spells.

He started playing around six pm, when you two arrived from the lovely lunch at his parents', and hadn't stopped even for a pee break.

Now, almost ten o'clock, having had dinner on your own - you called twice, he didn't even reply, probably didn't even hear, the bloody noises were so loud - you had had it.

He had been working hard on his fitness training and very few things were fun anymore. Every meal out, even at his folks', was carefully analyzed and several things avoided.

You tried to be supportive and dial down the amount of calories you ate. It just so happened that you needed to indulge from time to time.

Marching purposefully to the kitchen, you put the sauce pan on the stove and got busy.

It took him a long time to finish that raid but Henry was quite pleased with the outcome. He was also very hungry and the caramel-y/ nutty smell coming from the kitchen wasn’t helping.

He could see you lick the spoon from the hallway.

“What have you got there, love?” he asked, trying to put as much nonchalance as possible into his voice.

Your mischievous squint told him he failed miserably.

You finished swallowing whatever it was, and took another spoonful of it from the pan.

“Brigadeiro.” You said simply, and proceeded to slowly lick small amounts from the spoon, stirring different kinds of hunger in him.

“It…” he cleared his throat. “It smells delicious.” he said firmly, walking past the table to the fridge where he found the curry he no longer wanted to eat.

The sweet and powerful smell of the decadent dark cocoa mix got his mouth watering.

He swallowed loudly.

“Can I have some of that?” he asked, looking at you sideways.

With the spoon hanging from your mouth, you had the audacity of smiling your sweet, sweet smile.

“‘Orry, ‘abe” you said, before taking the spoon from your mouth and swallowing. “I just ate the last of it.”

And dared to lick your lips.

“So obviously, I had to kiss her.” he finished the story.  

“Obviously.” Jimmy Kimmel said, enthralled.

“And I have to say, that brigadeiro…” he finished his sentence with a chef’s kiss.

The crowd went crazy, catcalling and screaming.

“Now you’ve left us all wanting some... what’s it called?” Jimmy asked.

“Bree- gah- day- row.” Henry said quite slowly, and the crowd repeated with him. “Yes, that’s right. Oh, she’ll be so proud of you all when she sees this!” Henry said with a wide smile, as the woohoos met his ears once more.

“Is she not watching now?” Jimmy asked him.

“Unfortunately, she had to stay in London, with Kal. I’ll bring her next time.” 

His grin told a story and the audience ate it up. Poor Jimmy couldn’t even get a word in.

“Apparently, they all would love to meet her!” Jimmy said, when they had settled, but his words inflamed them again.

“Henry…” he tried to start, but they were too loud.

Henry then motioned with his hands in a calm down manner for them to quiet a bit.

“Thank you guys for letting me speak again. Henry, does she make that breegahdayrow often?” Jimmy finally managed to ask.

“Oh, no. Sometimes she makes beijinho, the other day she made bolinho de chuva. It’s so… I have no words, really.”

“Oh, will someone google those, please?” Jimmy asked. “And what do you do? Do you get mad at her?” he continued, fishing for gossip.

“How could I? Luckily for me, I have an army of nephews…”

“And one niece.” Jimmy interrupted.

“Yes, and one niece, to help. So I end up having a bite, but nothing that would ruin my diet.” he concluded.

“Do we have the images? Put them up, please.” Jimmy asked. “Oh. My. God. You’re a strong man! I don’t know if I could resist.” 

Jimmy looked like he was about to drool.

“Well, you know how it is, just because I can’t have a bite sometimes, doesn’t mean I don’t get a taste.”

The gasps and screams from the audience drew another, quite naughty, grin from Henry’s lips.

“Well, that’s all we have time for. Thank you so much. Henry Cavill everybody! Thank you for watching!”

Bolinho de Chuva - Sequinho

SEGREDO DO BOLINHO DE CHUVA SUPER SEQUINHO

Aqui em casa quando está chovendo não tem nada melhor do que estes bolinho de chuva. Mas você não precisa esperar chover para preparar os seus. Veja no YouTube o passo a passo e o segredo dos nosso bolinho de chuva super sequinho!

INGREDIENTES

2 ovos

¾ de xícara (chá) de açúcar

2 colheres (sopa) de manteiga

½ colher (chá) de sal

1 colher (sopa) de fermento em pó

1 xícara (chá) de leite

2 ½ xícaras (chá) de farinha de trigo

óleo para fritar

açúcar e canela em pó para polvilhar

MODO DE PREPARO

Numa tigela, junte os ovos, a manteiga, o açúcar e o sal e misture muito bem.

Acrescente alternadamente à mistura o leite e a farinha de trigo, mexendo sempre com uma colher.

Junte o fermento e misture bem. Numa panela média, coloque bastante óleo e leve ao fogo alto para aquecer. Quando o óleo estiver quente, abaixe o fogo.

Com duas colheres de sobremesa, modele os bolinhos.

Encha uma das colheres com a massa e passe de uma colher para a outra, até que a massa fique com um formato arredondado.

Com cuidado, coloque pequenas porções de bolinhos no óleo quente.

Deixe fritar até que os bolinhos fiquem dourados.

Com uma escumadeira, retire os bolinhos e coloque sobre um prato forrado com papel-toalha.

Num prato fundo, coloque açúcar e canela em pó e misture bem. Passe os bolinhos por essa mistura até envolvê-los completamente. Sirva a seguir. .
