She was such a delightful addition to Prince’s band. The smoking keyboard rigs of the Lovesexy '88 Tour. Matt Fink played a Fairlight CMI IIX, two Yamaha KX88 controllers, a Prophet VS, and a Yamaha DX7. Boni Boyer's setup consisted of a Roland D-50, Yamaha DX7, an Ensoniq ESQ-1(a personal favorite), and a tried & true Hammond B3 organ. Their offstage racks included E-mu Emax samplers, Roland MKS-20 piano modules, Roland D-550 synth modules, and more goodies. On this day (September 18th) in 1988, my boys and I witnessed the amazing Lovesexy '88 concert at the Rosemont Horizon outside of Chicago. Prince and his remarkable band put on one of his most stunning tours of his career. The music was brilliantly executed. The stage set and lighting was masterfully designed by Roy Bennett. The wardrobe was incredible, designed by Helen Hiatt.
