Week 29 weekvlog Heerlijke Happen

HotHotHot mensen! Wat een temperaturen hè?! Hier gaat het ook allemaal net even wat rustiger aan dan normaal. Natuurlijk wordt er volop gekookt en moeten al die recepten wel uitgeschreven worden. Maar op gebied van events is het eventjes rustig hier. We gaan ook al bijna op vakantie en ik merk dat ik daar best even behoefte aan heb! Helemaal stil stonden we niet dus kijk mee in de week 29 weekvlog Heerlijke Happen om te zien wat er allemaal wel gebeurde. https://youtu.be/WNVcVVudPUA Week 29 begon al heel goed op woensdag toen de collega van Jaap bij ons kwam trainen. De mannen trainen voor een hele marathon dus er moet flink wat gerend worden. Stephan bracht ons heerlijke Bossche Bollen van Jan de Groot en oh oh oh wat zijn die toch lekker! Vrijdag was de laatste dag school voor Jools. Ze hoefde maar een halve dag naar school en tegen het einde van de ochtend ben ik haar tegemoet gelopen en hebben we lekker een gebakje gehaald om het begin van de vakantie te vieren! Het weekend stond in het teken van lekker rustig aan doen en genieten van het weer. Gewoon even niks en lekker zwemmen en van de glijbaan in het zwembad. Natuurlijk goed insmeren en veel water drinken. Het leukste van de week was toch wel weer de opname-middag bij de Keuken Kampioen. Er was een extra opname gepland vanwege de zomeractie en daar wilden ze graag een leuk filmpje voor hebben. Nou say no more, ik ben natuurlijk gelijk aan de slag gegaan. Het resultaat hoeven jullie niet heel lang op te wachten hoor. Begin augustus wordt deze online gezet. Deze week kwamen deze heerlijke recepten online: Dit super toffe picknick brood Het favoriete recept van Anouk en mijn Guilty pleasure bonensaus Verwacht voor week 30: Jools gaat twee keer logeren deze week dus hebben Jaap en ik wat off-line qualitytime in de sauna gereserveerd. Even helemaal ontstressen en helemaal niks! Verder ga ik nog gezellig bij een vriendin op visite en alvast allerlei vakantie voorbereidingen doen. Tot na de vakantie zal het qua events stil blijven. Natuurlijk blijf ik lekker koken en recepten uitwerken dus op de achtergrond gebeurt er genoeg!     Read the full article

WORK IN PROGRESS 'Design By Misinterpretation' I was once talking with another student, when during the conversation something interesting happened. The person I was talking to, mispronounced the word 'bathtub'. Instead, he pronounced it as 'bathTUBE'. I thought that was funny. We then started fantasizing about how a bathtube would look like, and came up with the image of a huge ventilation pipe, cut through half, big enough to pass as a bathtub. Initial ideas; Bathtub - bathtube A tube, used as a bath. Some words that came up were very interesting, like; Computercream, armnest, fingersnails and armspit. Although I have only investigated this a bit, I also came up with another approach that I found working much better, and more fun mostly! This method works a bit differently, and it's hard to explain. But an example will make it easy to understand; The idea is to start with a word, that could be split in two separate words. Such as; 'candlelight'. This word consists of two separate words; 'candle' and 'light'. The next thing, is to find a word that starts with the last word of the previous word. It sounds very confusing, even as I write it. But this example shows what I mean; 'Candlelight' ends with 'light'. A word you could make from 'light' as the starting word, could be 'lighthouse'. Thus, combining 'candle', 'light' and 'house' together makes 'Candlelighthouse'. Interestingly enough, I found that many combinations of words can be imagined as being a real thing. For example; toenailgun, tableleghair, toolbeltsander or eyecontactglue. I have multiple ideas about further delevopment of these words.. but for now, this is what I came up with by just coming up with words.
