*gasp* OMG! Lil Jackers being dropped off to the BAU by Jessica (because she has like a work emergency or something) and instead of Jack going up to his dad's office he runs up to you like "Mama!" and he crushes you a his, biggest hug ever and Aaron come down from his office after hearing Jack's voice is fake pouts as because he didn't get the first greeting so Jackers giggles while sprinting over to his dad to give him hugs and kiss his forehead like he sees you do Aaron when he's pouting🥺

"Jack! Slow down!" Jessica's voice rings from the elevator. You mostly hear him, the sound of his small feet hitting the tiled floor before he falls into your legs with a slight 'umph' leaving your body.

You heft him up into your arms and he finds purchase around your neck. Jack speaks a soft "I missed you, Mama," into the side of your neck.

You can feel your heart slowly turn into a puddle as he squeezes a tighter hug around you. "My snuggle bug, I missed you too. Did you have fun at Aunt Jess's house?" She turned out of the door, blowing a kiss in your direction.

He pulls back to look at you with wide and excited eyes as he began telling you about his stay, all while holding on tightly to your shirt.

You can hear Aaron's office door open, and hear a pause before the door closes quietly.

Then, you hear the deep voice of your husband behind you. "I guess we know who Jack's favorite is."

You could feel the small gasp leave Jack's chest. "Daddy!"

Aaron's face was shown as falsely crestfallen, shoulders slumped when you turned around. "No, I get it, Jack, you wanted to see her more than you wanted to see me."

You push air out of your mouth quickly as you begin to set Jack down on the ground. "Go get Daddy, before he starts to cry."

There's an amused grin on your face as Jack runs into Aaron's legs, crying out a guilty but laughing "don't cry daddy I missed you too." Emily comes up next to you with a sly smile.

"Who knew Hotch was one for dramatics and guilt-tripping?"

A huff escapes your mouth. "Oh, I definitely did."

You both watch as Jack grabs a hold of Aaron's head and press a kiss to his father's forehead. "Don't be sad, Daddy. I made it all better like Mama."
