so i have been feeling very unmotivated to do any college work rn and i need to seriously reconsider what the hell i'm doing as of lately

I had to skip my morning physics lecture to study for a circuit analysis quiz that I’m taking later today 😵‍💫😵‍💫 I miss the days when the main reason for skipping class was sleeping in. I can’t tell if the practice problems being easy means that I’m ready for this quiz or that they’re actually too easy and I’m not studying at the proper difficulty for the quiz.

Today’s going to be super busy, I have classes until 7pm and have a quiz tomorrow for differential equations, so I’m probably going to have to stay up late. I’ll update this tomorrow with how both quizzes go!

OMG IM ABOUT TO SIGN UP FOR CLASSES THIS SEMESTER T—T i’m lowkey kind of scared like. DO WE GET TO PICK LIKE WHICH TIMES WE WANT THEM?? i have no idea how college works T—T but i’m doing okay! kind of just stressed like you are lol 😭

OMGG:(( HOPE ALL GOES WELL FOR U🫂 💝 make sure to take care of urself and im rooting for u babes <33 ALSO,, i dont personally know about other schools/institutions/colleges😪 but for mine: it works in a way where you can choose to have your classes in the morning or at night but this is only applicable for double majoring students!! 😵‍💫 as for me, since im majoring both in chem. engineering and business; we would need to carry our labs during the day and lectures at night (labs are not available during the night 😓 understandable tho id probably set it on fire by accident🧍‍♀️ 😄) 💤💤

As of the Spring ‘25 semester I will be a 2nd year undergrad, but it will be my 1st year studying electrical engineering

Hobbies/Interests: anything and everything Kirby and Sonic related, reading, guitar, occasionally art (both traditional and digital), arts and crafts I guess ??? bc I’m a broke college student and diy everything

Spring ‘25 Semester Specifics Under the Cut:

- Digital Logic Design (Lecture & Lab) - Linear Algebra and Differential Equations - Calculus 3 - Chemistry 1

Academic Goals:

- Turn in assignments ON TIME - Actually study regularly instead of just cramming before tests - Get over fear of emailing professors and/or asking questions during lectures - Attend more office hours than I did last semester - Keep my notes and assignments organized for longer than the first 2 weeks of the semester

Personal Goals:

- Work out at least twice a week - Replacing doomscrolling habit with something constructive (reading, hobbies) or at least relaxing (games, socializing) - Eat healthier and on a regular schedule - SLEEP EARLIER, or at the very least before 12am - Consistently update this blog

I’m going to treat this blog as a diary or journal of sorts mainly focused on academics, but will probably end up posting about my life in general every now and then.
