Probably my fave episode so far! Very understandable that Ange didn’t trust Char and Byakku at first, I hate that she made Char cry though! After thinking it through it was clear they were the victims of some unfortunate circumstances and just like her dad, she couldn’t turn down a kid in need. Taking them both in with her. Love how she was still kind of an asshole to Byakku for a while 😂

On Belgrieve’s side, he again shows why he makes such a great dad. His ability to empathise with people, especially younger kids, meet them halfway and form a bond with them is special. Loved how he helped Mary and Graham make up. Can definitely relate to the “sometimes we dig our heels in with the people we love” quote. That’s when it’s nice to have neutral parties like Belgrieve to help people make up.

Seems like no matter whether it’s a human or an elf, everyone goes through a rebellious teenage phase lol. I think Bel and Mary made a great team though and she will have learnt a lot even in a short amount of time from Bel.

Wow, so this all but confirms that Ange is related to the demon lords somehow. This new kid Bel’s adopting is a spitting image of her. Earlier in the season, one of the villains also said she was just like him. Hope we get some explanation of that before the season ends.

Very good episode, Ange gained three new siblings and I hope we get to see more of Mary, she’s so cute

To be honest, I didn’t expect much from My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer. I was interested in the show because of Hayamin voicing the MC. But to my surprise, I enjoyed the show more than I expected. It was a pretty cute story.

It’s a shame that the animation couldn’t keep up with its storytelling because the plot was quite interesting as the show progressed. I really liked Ange and Belgrieve. Their relationship was wholesome and sweet. It’s nice that we got to see their adventures separately too.

The ending ep felt quite abrupt though. Wish we had more eps to flesh out the supporting characters and the plot threads that were introduced.

Overall, it was a decent show that had potential!
