To get everything straight with the Nijisanji situation:

- A fifteen minute statement addressing the “situation” by Elira, Vox, and Ike was released on Elvira’s channel while Dokibird was streaming

- Elira states that they were shown documents regarding Dokibird’s legal case that contained personal information, and that she was afraid of being doxxed

- Vox states that Dokibird as Selen “apparently recorded a private voice call” between the two of them without his knowledge

- It was stated the reason Selen’s cover was taken down was due to her not getting the full contents approved by management

- Vox claims that Selen talked about graduation and was planning on doing so, but went back on it

- The livers claim that the statements made by Dokibird/Selen are false

- Dokibird, during her stream and on Twitter, states that these were legal documents not meant to be seen by anyone but her lawyers and management/legal teams of Nijisanji

- Shitshow erupts on Twitter and other social media platforms

- CEO released a statement hours after, apologizing to shareholders, saying not much else of substance

It should be noted that legal documents, of course, will have the full names of the people involved. Dokibird also stated they contained her personal medical information.

Tldr: Nijisanji leaked legal documents to their livers, had them make a collective statement about them, shit went down, the CEO admitted that Selen was not “negligible”

Along with Dokibird, the Sayu Sincronisity (Zaion LanZa) also attempted suicide following her termination from Nijisanji

No matter what you think of Sayu / Zaion, Nijisanji clearly mistreated her, especially with the short-notice silencing contract.

If this has happened twice, who knows who else is currently under these types of pressures. Anycolor needs to do better.

More of a warning than anything, since this is truly heinous.

There's been a document that sources literal doxxing sites being posted to Twitter by some Nijisanji "fans". This document and the people posting it are trying to: a) paint Doki as the true bad guy and Anycolor as a "flawed company", and b) discredit Doki's credibility due to (likely) having BPD.

So if anyone sees this or comes across "fans" who are sharing this, YES this document was written with malicious (and ableist) intent. The whole Niji situation obviously has a lot that is unknown and should stay private, but if someone has to use slander and ableism to justify a literal attempt just so they can "support their oshis", that is not supporting anyone.

People who are still watching Niji livers:

Please do not buy merchandise from Nijisanji / Anycolor directly. It's been stated by ex-livers and livers within the company that a very small percentage of sale profits go to the livers. (Mysta said about 2% while he was in the company.)

This company does not view their livers as anything but means to make money. If you want to buy merch of your oshis, please buy from individual artists.

Boycott Nijisanji if you care about your oshi. Nijisanji does not pay their employees fair wages, has repeatedly abused their employees, and only treats them as props to make money. Two former talents have attempted suicide because of the abuse they received at Nijisanji, with one of them being fired once she left the hospital. This is a repeated offense on Nijisanji's part, so your favorites are not safe.

What to do to help:

Do not buy official Nijisanji goods

Do not superchat livers, a large cut goes to Nijisanji

Follow your oshi's PLs and support them there

Keep talking about what Nijisanji has done

In regards to being asked about the black company, Nijisanji, their allegations to having ties to Israeli money, and #SinkTheYacht

I'm disappointed in

seeing folks punish all Niji EN livers by collectively unsubbing when "sinking the yacht" would be more effective by reaching out to AnyColor Inc shareholders and partners about Nijisanji's admission of management & livers bullying and listing all the public facts surrounding why Selen was fired. The summary of facts are that Nijisanji has bullies in their team, has done nothing to remove said bullies, and they chose a sudden termination to hide the fact they let a liver attempt suicide from said bullies and didn't inform the public about it.

So I understand why people are unsubbing as a whole- why many creators, artists, and third parties have made it public they will no longer make, support, or sponsor Nijisanji.

But priority 1 is not mass unsubbing- that's what Nijisanji wants. They are made up of known bullies and they are now manipulating the public into being bullies. Instead of spreading the word to mass unsub- I encourage everyone stop spending money on official merch, do not collab with any AnyColor Inc management, and not buy stocks connected directly to all AnyColor Inc nor their shareholders.

But why am I discussing this?

Why should non-vtuber fans care?

What I'm about to discuss now is an ongoing allegation that makes all the know facts even worse. If you support Palestine, you especially need to know about this ongoing allegation:

On Feb 5, ITOCHU Corp announced they would end their contract with an Israeli Defense Firm that they started March 2023- around the same time Nijisanji EN would annouced the termination without informing Selen (now Doki) that she was terminated. ITOCHU is a known shareholder of AnyColor Inc and does has the power to ask for public distractions. They are a monster firm among Japanese companies.

I cannot endorse #SinkTheYacht knowing Nijisanji livers are some of the worst collectively and consistently paid company VTubers in the industry, but if folks want to boycott AnyColor Inc's ceo, owners, shareholders, and management for their associations and ties to indirectly causing an ongoing genocide- then I support you. Sony Group Corp Japan, Bilibili Inc, & FreakOut Holdings Inc are a few shareholders that you can file public complaints towards about AnyColor's behavior and be wary of when choosing vtubers, streamers, youtubers, etc to support. But again ITOCHU and AnyColor's relationship is an allegation and speculation.

In my opinion

From an outsider perspective I believe an investigation into Nijisanji as a whole should've happened last year when so many people left or appeared to have left from management based pressure.

But as someone who holds many of the remaining livers with respect (and is a Kyomie) if indeed Nijisanji EN is telling the truth about livers and management bullying + doing nothing to stop it, then yes- every person responsible for ongoing bullying of at least 3 years should be terminated and black listed from the vtubing industry.

That all being said (if my gut is right) and none/the majority of the EN livers are not bullies then I also believe all currently contracted EN livers should be allowed to press charges aganist Nijisanji EN & AnyColor Inc for

1. Public defamation on an international scale due to the termination wording

2. Cuts to their already weird pay caused by the company's annoucements on Feb 5 & 6 2024

3. All documented mismanagement and bullying they've reported since being employed that led to emotional, physical, and financial losses

4. Losses to old and new merch sales the same week of Feb 5, 2024

The wording of the termination of Selen Tatsuki should be headed as a warning to an ongoing and well publicly documented management issues with AnyColor Inc and all their branches. If you're a vtuber who has or is planning to join Nijisanji EN- please get an attorney or lawyer if you choose to audition or are currently work for AnyColor Inc who's familiar with your nation's laws and Japan's laws. And remember to everyone, it takes hard work but being indie is possible- you don't need a company.

Thank you for reading this whole post and all fans please make the decisions and adjustments accordingly in regards to not #Sink TheYacht in such a fucking stupid fashion- don't be like the bullies who are managing your favorites. And god speed to all the EN Livers at KuroColor Inc who may end up seeing this on your private accounts- please know your fans will support you no matter what decisions you make but they hate your company and management for treating you like shit behind closed doors and out in the public. And if any of you do listen to my advice and find a legal expert to help you out, don't tell your management nor coworkers/friends/family, doubly if you don't have a copy of your most recent contract renewal/contract. Alright? Snakes can pass for tall grass, you need to be prepared to get bitten by the most unsuspecting blades when navigating your rights as a contracted streamer, entertainer, and employee.

ik i'm a small creator and one of my main principles of brisquad-unit-4402 is not to engage in graduations, drama, speculation, etc, but this is way too big to ignore.

especially when selen has been one of the most hardworking, dedicated, lovable, essential livers in nijisanji en.

support the livers, screw the company. unsubscribe from nijisanji en's official corporate channels, boycott merch sales. the only merch that should be considered are voice packs and streamlabs donations because livers get the most cut of those rather than physical merch, superchats, etc.

vital to know that your livers are bound by various contracts and ndas that prevent them from legally speaking up, and vital to know that unsubscribing from them hurts the liver more than the company.

don't speculate, don't harass, and don't doomscroll. it'll ultimately make both your mental state worse and make the problems between nijisanji and its livers even messier. if there was a time to take a break from social media it's now.

as for my writing: this blog supports the livers, but does not respect the company itself. i don't know a lot about indie vtubers but this is probably what'll make me start to branch out.

of course i will no longer be writing selen tatsuki out of respect for the person behind the liver. expect the list of livers i'll write to expand outside of nijisanji en, including livers from non-nijisanji companies and indies.

You can tell people who don't watch Niji are really scrambling to find anything to hate about the AR Live because they just don't want any of the livers to celebrate any accomplishments. But if anyone is actually taking the opinions of those who didn't even watch the damn event at face value, here is my take on some of the "issues" these people are complaining about:

THE GRADUATED LIVERS:

Pomu's, Nina's, and Mysta's voice were kept because it was a decision by the livers to be included for the fans. The remaining livers re-recorded their live stages after the others graduated, but some people actually think Niji was just showing 1-year-old footage, which would take some insane editing skills. The graduated livers' voices were part of the back track, not as part of the live singing. Their vocals were only heard for debut songs, too. There is also a weird narrative that the voices of the graduated livers should not have been allowed when there is no problem with it. Those graduated livers still support their friends and were more than happy to be included in AR Live even after graduating.

SELEN AND PASTEL STAGE:

It makes sense why Selen had to be cut from AR Live. There would be a lot more heat if they kept her in after her termination than to just roll with it since, unlike the graduated livers, Selen was terminated not long after already recording AR Live back in November last year.

I get it's upsetting many things had to be cut from Pastel Stage, but it's not just getting all the livers to Japan, but also booking the venue, getting the 3D riggers, stage staff, choreographers, and more. They'd have to push the AR Live concert even further after canceling the initial one. It honestly makes sense that they'd cut content rather than spend the resources to re-record it for a THIRD time. And since everyone wants the Niji to take better care of their livers' mental health, then not overworking them on this overdue project is a start.

3D MODELS AND RIGGING:

Apparently, someone paid the money to hate-watch AR Live so they could spread screenshots to make it look bad, despite the strict copyright rule not to share screenshots (which of course would lead to a DMCA). Frankly, if anyone is going to judge the quality of the whole 3-hour concert based on snippets and not actually bother to watch it, then they can't make the conclusion that the 3D models were bad. Although it's weird that someone did pay to sit through a 3-hour concert without having any intention of enjoying it to begin with.

I watched the concert, and the 3D models looked good, in my opinion. Nijisanji is known to have better 3D rigging compared to their competitors. The team that did the models and rigging did a perfectly fine job and it's pretty insulting to put it down because you chose to look at it under a microscope and pinpoint any instance where it might have looked off. A lot of the choreography (especially Shu's Shanti 🪑) and the variety games show how good the rigging can look, and it seems unfair to not look at those examples alongside the bad ones.

CONCLUSION

I feel like the Niji hate at this point is getting ridiculous. There's plenty of real reasons to not like Niji. If you want to "SiNk tHe yAtCht" so bad, you can boycott it and not spend money to hate-watch their concert, lol. Drama channels finding anything to talk about AR Live when they haven't even watched it is just another example of how little integrity they have to report hearsay. And it's tiring to always hear people looking at any possible negative thing to say when the livers and their fans are just being happy..?

Don't get me wrong, I have my criticisms of the company. I've aired it out before. Especially after Selen's termination. Hell, it's not like I don't have my own critique of AR Live. I also wish fans got more Pastel Stage. I also wish the first AR Live wasn't canceled. But by no means do I think the AR Live we got was bad.

I left the concert feeling elated and overall had way more positive thoughts about it than any negative ones. And it has me looking forward to future AR Live concerts. Other 3D debuts. And other projects like NijiEncounter.

Anyways, Niji antis can and will keep obsessively bitching about Niji, and then say "cope and seethe" when someone tells them to take a chill pill. But Niji AR Live did really well. The fans are proud of the livers' hard work to make it happen. There will be more positive things to come for Niji enjoyers. But if antis want to keep writing their own fan fiction that tells them otherwise, there's no point in changing their mind, lol.

For fans that want to keep supporting their livers, or any sane person that wants to see Niji better themselves, please don't let the hate keep you from celebrating any wins, big or small, that the livers are accomplishing.

The thing about Scarle reminded me on why Vtuber fans are trapped in a bubble (and why I rarely talk about it much) and only cares about things that related to their oshi. Yeah nijisanji is a black company that deserve to burn, good that you are defending the livers, but seeing the same kind of people saying

Fuck those woke asshole who bring politics to vtubing." and "entertainer shouldn't be talking about politics." even "Just for this I'm donating to an Israeli charity and eating Starbucks. Leave scarle alone." Because some are angry that Scarle bought a cake from Starbucks

Yeah... That's scream hypocrite. Do Scarle deserve to be harassed by twitter mobs? No. Would I go as far as calling her genocidal supporter? No. But it is fair to call her out for it, like you can buy a cake from anywhere else. The fact that countless death and immeasurable suffering in Palestine are dismissed as nothing but 'politics that discomforted me' is fucked

when it comes to actual real world things you can do against a company, ppl just arent ready for it. i've taken part in dozens of protests, boycotts and union work at my age and theres a lot of work that goes into it to affect a company and change internal malpractice. if people want to see a difference in nijisanji /anycolor and get their partnership and investors to notice more then organization and planning is key. If people really love or hate Nijisanji it's important to know that the things that make a real difference for the better will also hurt the talents. but at the end of the day the talents can choose to join the picket line or stay scabs all in all you need someone with charisma and experience to unify everyone against corporations but with the way everyone is running around flabbergasted I honestly can only see nijisanji returning to its ways after all of this.

Seriously, justice for Dokibird / Selen. I believe that the livers still in Niji (for the most part) truly didn't mean any harm and/or were forced to make those statements, but I can not watch anyone that's affiliated with a company as cruel and abusive as Nijisanji.

If the talents leave/go indie, I'd support them.

But boycott Nijisanji.
