In case anyone is wondering- WTH is a WARABI? It’s a edible fern( Braken fern, to be exact) that’s one of many delicious gifts of spring. Only the young unfurled shoots are edible. **Warabi contains Carcinogens, so they must be cooked before consumption **... That said, they’re delicious, and are abundant with Vitamin A/C, Iron, Fiber, Beta carotene, and antioxidants. These are great as a Omelet, Sautéed, braised in soy/Dashi .. possibilities are endless!
