What if TMNT took place in São Paulo, Brasil instead of NYC?

Donatello is a Green Sea Turtle, he has an expandable bo staff and he specializes in machines and underwater combat. He's the fastest of his brothers inside the water and has a part covered in water that he calls his lab. However he's the slowest in land and has some difficult on fighting in land.

Michelangelo is a Tracajá (Yellow Spotted Amazonian River Turtle), he's the youngest and is the fastest of his brothers on land, he also has a natural camouflage that all tracajás have. Miguel has alongated claws that helps him in fight when he isn't with his weapons, altought he has to be extra careful with them to not hurt his family and friends

Rafael is a Cherry Head Tortoise. He's the tank of the team, always stepping in to the fight first to protect his brothers, especially Donnie (Donatello can't go inside his shell, Sea Turtles can't do that). He does have rage outbursts but is learning how to deal with it by cooking and baking. He always have some sort of snack inside of his shell (granola bars, chocolate,etc). He doesn't know how to swim, so he's usually paired with Donnie in missions.

Leonardo is a D'orbigny's Slider, he's the eldest and the leader of the team. He worries too much about every single thing, he wants to follow his father steps and become a great ninja. Leonardo always has a plan C just in case. He munches his bandana when he gets bored or when he dissociates. He cares too much about missions, but the safety of his brothers are his number one priority and he has little to none self preservation.

Decidi fazer um pokemon pássaro capoeira com meu amigo e é meio que isso kkk. Provavelmente vou postar mais fakemon sobre a cultura do Brasil aqui por um tempo.

(I decided to make a pokemon with my friend, and that's basically it lol. I'll probably post more fakemon based on brazilian culture for a while)

- nomes (names): maria + chute / harpia + capoeira

- habilidades (abilities): tough claws / quick feet

- descrição: Dizem que esse pokémon existe desde os primórdios, ajudando aqueles em necessidade principalmente na época colonial e imperial do Brasil. Seu nome foi batizado pelos praticantes de capoeira na época por causa do seu estilo de luta, servindo de inspiração para as calças brancas com cordas, que lembram a sua plumagem.

- (description: legends say that this pokemon exists for a long time, helping those in need, especially during colonial and imperial times in Brazil. I'ts name was given by capoeira practitioners because of the pokemon's fighting style, being an inspiration to the usage of white pants with ropes, which resembles it's plumage).

What if TMNT took place in São Paulo, Brazil instead of New York?

Welcome to my Brazilian au, I made this character sheet of Splinter as a Capybara. Cause NOTHING screams Latin America and Brazil more than a Capybara.

He's much more a father figure than a master.

In my au Splinter was the human Hamato Yoshi who turned into a mutant Capybara. When he was a human, he was involved in some shady and criminal stuff, but never really liked doing this kind of thing. After the mutation he saw a second opportunity and a way out of his old life to disappear....of course it way harder 'cause now he got 4 kids.

He took his mutation as a positive thing and teached everything he knew to keep his kids safe, Capybaras are extremely good parents.
