Thrawn started off as mildly chaotic in this book and then next thing i know he's doing something (putting the Magys in hibernation) and being like "lol, im not actually going to tell the Syndicure, Lakinda, so don't worry about what they'll think of that," and everyone collectively thinks "ah yes, it's going to get more insane after this, isn't it?" And they would be right.

And Che'ri using third sight to get to the door early and have a squiz at the Magys' hibernation coffin they shoved in Thalias' room (she suggested it) like 👀👀👀👀 "momish, what is that-" it's something that's not for Chisslings, Che'ri sjsjd.

this interview with noah and finn got me thinking…

finn says “mikes kinda clueless but he gets kicked into gear when someone that he loves is in danger”. this is the second time he’s called mike clueless. the first was at the premiere when he said the advice he would give mike would be to listen more. he says “the only thing that gets him outta his head is when he has to protect his friends… when you see him when he’s not going on like missions he’s pretty clueless he doesnt really understand.” then the interviewer who had already seen volume one said people will know what he’s talking about when they see the season.

so he said mike needs to listen more… im wondering if someone else, probably jonathan, tries to tell him in a very vague way that maybe his feelings for el arent romantic and maybe he might have those feelings for someone else. he’d probably also mention something about love meaning you’d do absolutely anything for them with zero hesitation and he doesn’t think he feels that with el. mike would completely dismiss this and think he’s crazy but then later will is in danger and he of course does everything to protect him and puts himself in danger while doing so.

and THAT is the moment he, and the audience, realizes he likes will.
