Next year, I might really consider riding a ski-doo on the East River 🤔 Yeah, THAT East River lol The one that can have a very distinct odor 😂 but I’ll say this, it’s WAY better now than it was 20 or even 10 years ago. Whatever ocean clean up they doing, it’s working. 🧠🧠 IDEA: There are businesses that have 1 hour and 2 hour tours and rentals for use for ski-doo and other water crafts. Would have never known until I saw an ENTIRE FAMILY out on the water this summer. On another outing I saw what looked like a large group just having fun. So yes, this could be you and your family. New Yorkers are surrounded by water, which we may forget, but photographers have long trained their lenses at our waterfront.  Three MTA Arts & Design Lightbox photographers, Nathan Kensinger, Jeff Liao, and Lynn Saville are represented in a new show, "Shifting Perspectives: Photographs of Brooklyn’s Waterfront", a survey of 65 photos of the waterfront from the 1930s to present day.  The exhibit by the Brooklyn Historical Society launches their new space in Dumbo and remains on view through September.

Nathan Kensiger’s and Lynn Saville’s Lightbox projects are currently on view at Atlantic Terminal and Grand Central Terminal.

If you LOVE coffee, you will like this place. When I was there last time it has a number of coffee options but at the same time it was simple an straight forward. It’s down near the waterfront on Old Fulton Street. On the waterfront walking around when I spotted a photo shoot happening in a shell from a warehouse so I took picture 3 from the outside with the model in what was a window. Then from there we had a coffee at west elm so we could defrost.
