Lunchtime Writing

#JustFuckMeUp is living up to its name & I may need a bath in holy water later (who am I kidding, no amount of holy water is gonna work on this sinner).  That being said, my dirty boys are having plenty of fun so it all works out! 

Randall Tier and Matthew Brown is the weirdest ship but it works and I love them together (just keep Matthew away from Will).

Summer Plans!

Hello. Welcome. Please try not to scare the kitten. Summer means busy for work and play so I’m starting a work in progress update post to help organize my time and efforts as well as keep you lovely people apprised of where my writing is headed. At the moment, I am firmly entrenched in all things Hannibal related but there is room for other writing as well (maybe even some original stuff if my brain is up for it). Okay, here we go!

What I’m working on is below the read more!

The Deadly Seven – Hannibal Ship: Hannigram Summary: A retelling of The Magnificent Seven with Hannibal and Will at the center but with all our favorite characters out to play. Peace officer Will Graham is up against The Verger Company for the small town of Wolf Trap, Kansas. He’s needs some help, of the ruthless variety, so turns to his wanted posters and recruits the worst of the worst. Unknowingly, the worst of them is a random stranger they rescue on the side of the road to Wolf Trap, a doctor of the highest caliber, and Will can’t get him out of his head. Progress: Current word count is 17,638. Notes: I’ve finished writing 7 chapters of this story and there is a plan for at least seven more. There may be more chapters than that because I’m letting the narrative flow as naturally as I can. My hope is to have three more chapters posted in June.

A Roll in the Hay – Hannibal Ship: BrownBeast (Randall Tier/Matthew Brown) Summary: A timestamp within The Deadly Seven. Randall and Matthew have just survived a fight with Abel Gideon and are licking their wounds in the barn while Will and Hannibal teach Gideon about sharing. Soon enough, they start in on each other’s wounds and it’s a mesh of violence and sex as these two finally give in to their tension. Progress: Current word count is 1,030 Notes: For The Hannibal Cre-ate-ive fest, #JustFuckMeUp and boy, is this fucking with my brain. Not only did I have no intention of putting these two together when I started The Deadly Seven but I didn’t even see it until someone else pointed out their interactions to me and went “I ship it.” Now I do too and it’s glorious. You’re welcome @devereauxsdisease and @victorineb :D

Once Our Eyes Watered – Hannibal Ship: Hannigram Summary: They’ve been dancing in the dark around each other for so long and now that they have a little light, Will and Hannibal are more scared of what it could reveal. Will grabs at the chance for a different kind of life, a life with Hannibal, not just beside Hannibal. Progress: Word Count is 3,522 Notes: I wrote this for The Radiance Anthology but it wasn’t accepted so I promised myself I would smut the hell out of it and post to AO3. Still a little painful to touch at the moment but am hoping to dip back in once my JustFuckMeUp fic is written. I will bring that rating up to Explicit though!

Wrong Door – SpaceDogs (Hannibal to the left) Ship: Spacedogs (Nigel/Adam) Summary: Nigel forgets where his apartment is while drunk and ends up passed out on Adam’s front hallway. He wakes up to a hangover, a blanket covered in stars draped over him, and a very annoyed neighbor (who might be the prettiest person he’s ever seen). Apologies are in order but Nigel thinks maybe a date might be better. Progress: No Word Count Notes: This will be for The Hannibal Cre-ate-ive fest #SpaceDogsSummer and I hope to make this a little ficlet but you know how that goes. It could be a giant story with multiple chapters if my muse has anything to say about it.

A Different Kind of Lure – Hannibal Ship: Hannigram (Will Graham/Hannibal Lecter) Summary: Hannibal leaves Will at a rest home for the dying when he doesn’t wake up from his coma after the fall. Will does wake up to find Hannibal gone, a goodbye note for him on the night stand, and a church full of surprised (but silent) nuns. He’s not pleased to find Hannibal gone and will do anything to find him, even if those methods are a little more familiar than is quite safe. Progress: Word count is 996 Notes: This was a weird one that popped into my head during The Radiance Anthology race but it needed more time to percolate so now it fits here. Hoping to at least have the first chapter of this done for The Hannibal Cre-ate-ive fest, #ItsStillBeautiful and then work from there. It’s different from my normal writing style so I’m a touch concerned about it.

Okay, that’s about it for June and I should be plenty busy but I’m always open for new ideas so drop me an ask!
