It is I! Hi!
I come to you a lot for Billy things but that's because you're so cool 😎 viva la wolf
Also, do you remember that one ask of mine where I discussed an idea of Billy and Damian being pen pals with each other without the other knowing about their secret superhero lives and being freebies though letters/email?
Continuing that. What if Damian found out one day that Billy was coming over to Gothom for a field trip his school was having, and he'd finally get to meet his pen pal friend! Wow, so fun! He even lost some sleep over being so excited, but continued denying it over the fact that they're frenemies. The batfam notices immediately and poke fun at him, but welcome Damian to bring his little friend over.
Once Billy gets there, it really hits Damian that hiding his secret life is harder than it seemed. (all the while Billy is hiding his). Maybe even an Arkham escape disaster happens and Damian has to go through great lengths just to hide he's secretly Robin from his new friend/frenemy.
like something dangerous and supervillain related happens while they're out for ice cream, and Damian has to lie and pretend nothing is happening to Billy, who, is trying not to do anything stupid in Gothom and is also pretending not to know anything.
Aaa, sorry about all that, I'm just full of sugar and Billy thoughts today
I love this! It's a very natural progression of the pen pal story.
The field trip to Gotham can be explicitly to introduce the pen pals ro each other (maybe at the end of the school year? As a treat to the kids). They're both a bit anxious but would fall into sassing each other right away.
Both Damian and Billy would be trying so hard to act normal while trying to stealthily deal with whatever villain was attacking them. (Neither of them are particularly good at acting normal but they're too preoccupied to realize)
They end up having a pretty good time despite being hostages most of the day.
