I watched my episode again by myself because last night was wild (in the BEST way) and I wanted to focus on it quietly, and I am feeling so fully suffused with happiness and gratitude that I got to do what I love for a week IN HAWAII (!!!) and share it with so many of you. I’m so moved by everyone who showed up to watch it with me, and those of you who watched at home, and sent me texts and messages with kind words and congratulations. I’m truly touched by the outpouring of love and support from you guys... Added bonus, Bryce McBratnie was able to make it to the viewing party and he also played a large part (as a “slithery snake”) in the episode. My agent is happy, a friend told me a compliment from the director because he knows the director’s wife, I’ve got some new fans, I’m part of a new “ship” for #Junmy (Junior & Cammy, #BringCammyBack lol) and you guysssssss...the biggest compliment? My MOM told me she cried watching the last scene, from MY acting! But in true Asian parent fashion, any compliment comes with a comedown, haha, and she said my dad only watched the opening and then went to bed, hahahaha. Gotta keep us humble! The little girl in me who always dreamed of being an actor in Hollywood had her moment to shine last night, and I’m so utterly giddy and grateful for all the friends and family in my life who have supported and believed in me along the way. May this be the start of something even greater. Thank you William De Los Santos for taking most of these photos! #H50 #hawaiifive0 #actorslife #watchparty #asianactor #representationmatters #dreamcometrue #gratitude
