Hey guys! Back with some more art (i know it's a late post ihbj) after recovering properly now. - A couple commission for DrKK of their Smiler and Hex which i had a lot of fun drawing! Done traditionally with a combo of Copic, Polychromos, and posca for the highlighted lines. Characters belong to @dr-kk (sorry for the @) and not myself, please go definitely support her work she has some amazing ocs and ideas!

I'm reading an article about Vagabouncy (just for fun, not planning on doing it), and I'm wondering, is there actually anything in the game that uses your age as a factor? There isn't, like, a Fisher-Price Sburb for babies, right?

After a lot of fighting within the remaining development team and extensive user feedback, there are some instances where the specific age of Players plays a role. Most notable are age restricted areas (as in: those areas do not exist if somebody within your session does not meet the relative age requirement), such as the Dream Moon Tax Embezzlement Bureau - a very adult topic.

All text, including speech from game constructs, is rendered age appropriate. For example the Battleship Operation Manual, which spawns in the Dream Moon Libraries generates in larger letters if you have elementary school aged Players and it stresses the importance of safety, while for late-teens it is a rather cynical kamikaze step-by-step manual. Also, Consorts will never use actual swearwords, but depending on the youngest Player hearing them they can say cutes-y words like "bubbleducks" and "marmalade mambo" while adolescents get "fiddlesticks", "motherfryers", "kickheads", and for adults it's often just "Fu-BEEP-k". Which I think is my peak level of comedy, because they just say the word beep.

Technically all the Land puzzles are age-generated for appropriate difficulty, but we had to hard-by-pass it with any age category generating toddler puzzles. Yes, Gurl has given up on all of us.

So Flume now has a new redesign! I didn't plan on doing this but whenever i looked at the 2023 art i did for her it just felt like something was lacking with her design, she looked too much like princess peach to me and i wanted to stray away from that area so thus her redesign was born!

I feel like she definitely has much more personality now and she actually looks more like a child since she's supposed to be 12 years old overall anyways i really hope you guys like her new design! I worked really hard and put all my thought and artistic abilities into her and i'm super proud of myself for that. She was my very first Alton character and i love her so much so she means a whole lot to me.

I don't normally post stuff here unless it's art or reblogs of other peoples art but these are duck themed so they pass the duck check. - Anyways! I recently bought some older merch from when the Gruffalo ride at Chessington used to be called Bubbleworks and was themed with the Imperial Leather IP and look how cute they are! I can use the book as a mini sketch book on the go and the drink cup i can bring on holiday/enjoy while out drawing in the sun but ahhhhh!!! I love ducks so much.

I've still been pretty quiet/busy working on costume stuff for opening day but i hope i can show the finished results soon! I'm super excited to be trying out some new stuff i've never done before and while i'm not an expert with it i'm enjoying the learning process and finding out what works best and what doesn't! It'll help in the long run when i want to get into cosplay full time. The next step though is finding some beginner sewing classes near me and i'm so excited for that.

🦇 Meet Vampire! 330 years old and goes by he/him. 🦇

- So a while back i made a poll asking which characters i should draw or if i should work on a new oc design for Vampire from Chessington World Of Adventures and you all voted for Vampire! So here he is in the flesh! - For a while now i've slowly been getting into some of the rides at Chessington's and found myself falling in love with Vampire and Bubbleworks the most so i really wanted to design something for the both of them but i always felt maybe i needed to experience the ride before making a character (minus bubbleworks since it is no longer operating with that exact theme) so i could connect a lot more with it but i really couldn't wait to start Vampire because the more i look into the ride and the theme/colours it drew me more and more in and so i had to make a character for him.

- This is his concept however so things could possibly change with him such as maybe his hair shape and perhaps his outfit shape and i may lower the ends of his pants so he maybe looks less nerdy as that's not the vibe i was going for fiehghgfrg but the rest i really think i want to keep and colour wise it's perfect so we shall see in the future how much he changes.

Dropping my cara art account here if anyone else uses it here. The website itself also doesn't support AI thankfully but i have yet to fully try it out. Fingers crossed it's a good website for artists though.
